Tonia's POV
The next morning arrived with a mixture of anticipation and dread coursing through my veins. Solace had agreed to bring the children to the location I specified - a crowded amusement park where I could disappear into the masses if she decided to double-cross me with the Executioners.
Though I seriously doubted she would risk such a move, knowing full well I possessed enough damaging information to destroy her reputation completely.
My pulse quickened as I spotted her walking through the entrance gates, two small figures trailing beside her. The children hadn't noticed me yet, giving me precious moments to drink in the sight of my beautiful offspring.
The realization hit me like a physical blow - these incredible little beings were truly mine. Against all odds, fate had blessed me with motherhood, and the gratitude overwhelmed me.
Their eyes found mine across the crowded walkway, and instantly their faces transformed with pure joy.
"Aunty Tonia!"
