Kermit's POV
I snapped my head up from my laptop to his face.
"What're you talking about?" I glanced at the time. "It's late." She had left the party hours ago. I assumed she went straight home.
"Have you called her?" I grabbed my phone from the desk.
"Countless times. She's not picking up. I've sent endless texts. Nothing."
What the hell was going on?
I dialed her number, my jaw clenching when I heard the same result. Straight to voicemail.
"Let it go. She's probably just being dramatic." I waved Maximus away dismissively.
But when the early morning hours rolled around and she still hadn't returned, fury began burning through my chest.
Where the fuck was she? Had she run off to meet Chad? Or some other secret lover I didn't know about?
Ryder and Maximus contacted her father and her male friend. Nobody had seen her. Nobody knew where she was.
