After thinking about all his new-found revelations for a while Sunny came to a conlusion.
'I still know not nearly enough about this nightmare.'
Knowlege was both the greatest weapon and the greatest obstruction.
And right now it was obstructing him.
'Maybe I will get another vision tonight. One that will help me plant precautions.'
But it did not lay right on Sunny to put all his hopes into one possibility. He somehow how to get more information about both the bears and the forest.
Continuing his jurney, he seems to be getting nearer to the center of the forest. The vitality emitted by plants was stronger and filled him with vigor.
'If I stay here I might not even need sleep.'
All his tension and worry was slowly leaving his body.
'You know, it might not even be so bad here.'
While basking in the evening sun, letting all his worry and care melting away, sunny was approched by something.
Its foreign body is long and lean, with legs that are delicate-looking yet strong, built for speed and silent movement. Its fur is a dense and soft, colored orange. Alltogether it gave of a regal, cunning atmospere.
A soft howl escaped his mouth and meaning was instilled into his mind.
"Its nice to see you again, Prophet."
It spoke with a deep familiarity, as if they had long been aquainted.
"Have you gotten another vision? The last one wasnt that enjoyable."
Not knowing the creature infront of him Sunny did not know what to answer. He had never seen this thing before.
'Maybe this bodys original owner knew him when he first entered this forest.'
But Sunny did not. Not wanting to breake the facad of the seer, Sunny acted like he knew him.
"Its nice to see you too my friend. It has been too long since last we met."
"And yes, I did. Sadly this one also was not the pleasant kind."
"Oh, really thats not good. Can you tell me about it. Last time the birds banished you for your revelation. They did not belive it. But while you were gone I spread your story. Everyone knows about this vision, and the monster."
"And as you know, every rumor has the chance to turn into reality. Even the Bird belive it now."
Hearing this, it was like a light bulb illuminated his mind. While he still did not know enough about the monster, he could manipulate the birds into taking precautions. After all they were the guardians of the forest, and who was better in fighting abominations like the Twilight beast, then those who most likely already have.
'They were of a much greater rank than me, why should I make the plan of stopping "It".'
Having thought for too long Sunny quickly answered.
"Of course, I could not have said it better. But lets come back to my vision. I saw The monster again, its form alone shattered my mind into pieces. But I found out its name, its called the Twilight Beast. But that also is the only valueable thing I have learned, maybe I get another vision tonight, one that is a bit more usefull."
"Dont worry, I know you will get another one. But its already getting late, how about you come with me, I know you dont have a home here, come with me and rest."
Not seeing any problem with it, Sunny began to follow his new friend, he was getting tierd, wich was wierd because he was not exhausted at all neither physically nor mentally.
The way to the animals home was not very long, it took less then half an hour to reach it.
Before them was the enterance to an underground cave, it looked self made. Entering the cave the floor was littered with leaves that looked more ancient then even the creature escorting him. It was a bit wierd. Leaves normally start to either crumble or rot, depending on the moisture. But they looked still alive.
'Everithing lookes mystical.' He thought.
"Im sorry, you have appeared after so long but I have not prepared any food." It said with a mournfull voice.
"I is no problem, while in this forest I have no need for any sort of sustinance. You dont have to worry. But im tired, where can i sleep."
The tiredness he was feeling was unnatural. His eyelids were heavier than ever before. Even with his [Vitalty] and [The Heart] attributes boosting him, he felt like a walking corps.
The Host showed him to a place covered in hay and leaves. Sunny lay down and fell asleep as soon as his head tuched the make-shift bed.
He dreamed of a forest.
The residents of the forst were grouped up in the midst of the forest. It looked like they were argueing, yet he heared no sound.
He saw the events out of the third person, several meters above the ground.
The creatures split into two factions, it was viscious, one of the grey haired animals bit into another. Panic broke out between the other faction, they sreamed, they ran.
Some of those animals he recognised.
On one of those factions was his friend, together with eight legged chitinous insects with giant mandibles on their face. even those grey furred animals responsible for the attack were on his side.
On the other side were two he remenbered. The four legged animal with the crown of keratin on his head, who told him about the birds and the lands oround was there.
not far away was the orange rodant with the fluffy tail.
Soon after the vision shifted.
Orange-blue light illuminated the forest outshining the sun itself.
Every single angle of the forest was covered in light. The light was shining trough the ground, the trees and even the residents.
Seeing this Sunny felt naked, exposed. The same sensation he felt when Judgement was examining him.
Then it shifted a last time.
A blue moon shone in the sky, laying parralel to the sun. Wraiths of all sort were entering the forest, trees were burning sending clouds of smoke to the sky.
Even the ground was covered in black ash, giving a feeling of unease.
Animals were fleeing, trying to escape the forest, some escaped, or tried to escape. Many were cought by the nightmare creatures.
In the end the form of something massive appeared, from within the forest. The mass of darkness was growing and growing untill it towered above the trees themselves.
Just before the beast, the creature of twilight fully formed itself three orbs of pale light split from it. The first one was white the second one was black and the third a plae red.
Then it he woke up.
'How did I get here?'
'Where am I?
