Chapter 154: Shooting Star Dragon T.G. Expansion
Yūga Hōzumi watched Shinji Weber on the screen with a speechless expression, thinking, *So he can step up now, huh? If you're so amazing, why did you abandon your ideals after a talking-to from Tomato?*
"Forget it. I didn't expect him to do anything anyway," Yūga Hōzumi said. "Bruno's Accel Synchro being exposed isn't necessarily a bad thing. The rule that Friendship Cup participants have the status of a king before elimination was set by The Top Echelons. With the legendary Accel Synchro reappearing, those capitalists in The Top Echelons should be feeling the pressure. They'll likely concentrate their security forces more within the stadium, which means fewer obstacles for our operation."
"Let's hope so," Kiryu said, gritting his teeth as he watched the scene on the screen.
Inside the stadium, it was Bruno's turn. After a moment of thought, he decided to try and conceal the power of Accel Synchro for a little longer.
"My turn! I draw!"
"I activate the Spell Card, Charge of the Light Brigade! I send the top three cards of my Deck to the Graveyard, then add one Level 4 or lower 'Lightsworn' monster from my Deck to my hand."
The top three cards of his deck popped out. Bruno immediately sent them to the Graveyard, then drew the searched monster that emerged from his deck. "I add the Tuner Monster, Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn, to my hand!"
"Next, I summon it in Attack Position!"

"Lightsworn?" Shinji Weber frowned upon seeing the new monster appear beside Bruno's D-Wheel. "Where's your legendary deck? Are you looking down on me?"
"Of course not," Bruno said. "This is the result of all my recent training!"
That's right. On the final night of Yūga Hōzumi's Crab-Head Accel Synchro course, he had personally taught Bruno how to adjust his deck, making its synergy with Accel Synchro more seamless. After all, while most of the "T.G." series' Synchro Monsters were powerful, their Main Deck low-level monsters were indeed a bit lackluster.
After a full night of instruction in the Dreamland, Bruno had dived headfirst into the Revolutionary Army's Card Warehouse early the next morning, rummaging through everything. He only emerged late at night looking utterly satisfied, his gains apparently quite significant.
"I activate Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn's effect! Once per turn, I send the top two cards of my deck to the Graveyard!"
The dagger in the hand of the light assassin beside Bruno flashed, and two more cards popped out from the top of the deck. Bruno smiled after seeing them. "Here it is."
After sending the two cards to the Graveyard, Bruno raised his hand, and the phantom of a dinosaur skeleton shimmering with a strange light appeared out of thin air beside him.
"I activate the effect of Miscellaneousaurus from my Graveyard!"
"I can banish any number of Dinosaur-Type monsters from my Graveyard, including this card, to Special Summon one Dinosaur-Type monster from my deck whose Level is equal to the number of monsters banished. The monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed during the End Phase."
"I banish this card to Special Summon the Level 1 Dinosaur-Type monster, T.G. Drill Raptor, from my deck!"
"I tune the Level 1 T.G. Drill Raptor with the Level 4 Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn!"

"Limiter Removal, Level 5! Booster activation, okay! Inclination angle, okay! Ground support, all green! Go! Synchro Summon! Come on! Synchro Tuner Monster, T.G. Star Guardian!"
From the end of the high-tech Synchro light array, a D-Wheel dashed out, elegantly transforming in mid-air before landing beside Bruno.

"When T.G. Star Guardian is Special Summoned, I can add one 'T.G.' monster from my Graveyard to my hand."
"I add T.G. Propeller Serpent from my Graveyard to my hand!"
"Next, I activate T.G. Star Guardian's other effect! I Special Summon one 'T.G.' monster from my hand."
"Appear! T.G. Propeller Serpent!"
"I activate the effect of T.G. Propeller Serpent upon its successful Summon! I target one Level 4 or lower 'T.G.' monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it!"
"Be revived! T.G. Drill Raptor!"
"I tune the Level 1 T.G. Drill Raptor with the Level 4 T.G. Propeller Serpent!"

A warrior wielding a great axe and shield was born from the Path of Stars. No sooner had it landed beside Bruno than he took a deep breath, looking at the two monsters flanking him. He raised his right hand high, and a red, dragon-shaped mark flashed across it.
"Shinji Weber, this is the result of all my recent training!" Bruno shouted. "And this is the proof of my bond with Yusei Fudo!"
"I tune the Level 5 T.G. Power Gladiator with the Level 5 Synchro Tuner, T.G. Star Guardian!"

T.G. Star Guardian leaped forcefully, transforming back into a technologically advanced D-Wheel in mid-air. It then carved a brilliant Path of Stars across the sky, drawing T.G. Power Gladiator into it.
"When bonds are illuminated by the stars, the gate to a new future will open! Full accelerate! Step onto the glowing path of light!"
The roar of a dragon echoed at the end of the Path of Stars, and a brilliant light illuminated every corner of the stadium.
"Synchro Summon! Level 10! Descend! Shooting Star Dragon T.G. Expansion!"
As Bruno loudly called out the monster's name, a magnificent giant dragon, clad in pure white mechanical armor, flew out from the end of the Path of Stars. Its wing-like appendages left a long trail across the sky.

The Female Commentator was so shocked by this scene that she was speechless. What kind of dragon was this? Future technology and divinity—two seemingly unrelated elements—had achieved a perfect, harmonious union in this giant dragon. The gun barrels on its back and the lightsaber in its hand constantly scattered brilliant stardust!
After a long moment, the Female Commentator slowly spoke, "Ladies and gentlemen, it seems we have all underestimated this duelist due to his lack of prior fame."
"I don't know if everyone noticed, but to summon this powerful Level 10 Synchro Monster, Bruno used only a single card from his hand!" the Female Commentator said.
Upon hearing the Female Commentator's words, the audience finally noticed the number of cards remaining in Bruno's hand and couldn't help but be astonished by his terrifying power. *He summoned such a powerful monster with just one card from his hand?*
"Shooting Star Dragon T.G. Expansion?" Shinji Weber looked up at the magnificent giant dragon not far away, frowning. "It seems your strength has grown considerably. But if you want to prove to me that you're worthy, then try and get through me!"
