# Chapter 100: Becoming a Wanted Criminal from the Start (2/5)
Inside a beautiful park in the Synchro Dimension, three D-Wheels roared out from the void.
"Is this the Synchro Dimension? It doesn't look bad," Serena said, surveying the surrounding scenery.
"Don't celebrate too soon. We need to run; trouble's coming." Unlike Serena's joy, Yūga Hōzumi frowned as he looked at the well-equipped, clean, and tidy park. This indicated their landing spot was in Neo Domino City's district, The Tops.
In a place where the class divide was unimaginably vast, this area was exclusively for those self-proclaimed noble upper-class individuals. Commoners didn't even have the right to set foot here, let alone three unregistered individuals like them with no identification.
Just then, the park's security spotted the trio. "You three! Who are you?"
The park's security guard shouted while contacting Security on his radio.
"Three unidentified D-Wheel riders have appeared in the central park in The Tops. We need support."
"What is he doing?" Serena was utterly confused by the guard.
"This is The Tops district you mentioned? So the three of us are now illegal trespassers?" Kaito frowned. "What happens if we get caught?"
"Probably a one-way trip to prison and a life of hard labor," Yūga Hōzumi said nonchalantly, shrugging.
"We have to go to prison just for this?" Serena looked incredulous.
"And it's the kind where you spend your whole life there. So, what are you waiting for? Run!" With that, Yūga Hōzumi started his D-Wheel.
Hearing this, Kaito and Serena quickly started their D-Wheels. The three of them drifted past the flailing security guards, speeding rapidly toward the park's exit.
Outside the park, there was only one wide elevated road. With no other choice, the three had to drive onto it.
"Where should we go? Should we find Shun first?" Kaito asked.
"Let's deal with the current trouble before we think about where to go," Yūga Hōzumi replied. In his D-Wheel's rearview mirror, three D-Wheels with flashing sirens were rapidly closing in on them. At the same time, high-tech guardrails simultaneously rose on both sides of the road.
The trio's Duel Disks were locked simultaneously, forcing them into Duel Mode.
"One each, alright?" Yūga Hōzumi asked, looking at the two beside him.
The two didn't reply, but instead slowed down, each engaging their own opponent.
A helicopter slowly approached. Its cabin door opened, and a blonde woman holding a microphone leaned out.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Security's Pursuit Squad has locked onto the fugitives! The intense and exciting Turbo Duel is about to begin! I, Melissa Claire, will be broadcasting this duel for everyone! This is the best post-dinner entertainment!" said the female host on the helicopter.
"What does this mean? Are they treating us like monkeys in a zoo?" Kaito raged.
"Let's finish this quickly," Yūga Hōzumi said coldly after glancing up at the helicopter in mid-air.
"You scum from the bottom should just surrender obediently. Struggling is useless," said the lead Security Officer.
"With just you?" Yūga Hōzumi sneered.
"Turbo Duel, accelerate!" x6
"My turn!" The three Security Officers simultaneously took the first turn.
"I summon Goblindbergh in Attack Position!"
"When Goblindbergh is summoned, I can Special Summon one Level 4 or lower monster from my hand. If this effect is activated, this card switches to Defense Position."
"Appear! Tuner monster, Jutte Fighter!"
Goblindbergh ATK: 1400 → DEF: 0
"I tune the Level 2 Jutte Fighter with the Level 4 Goblindbergh!"

Beside the D-Wheels of the three Security Officers, Jutte Fighter transformed into two star rings that enveloped the four stars Goblindbergh had become. A glittering path of stars was thus illuminated.
"Pursue them to the ends of Hell! Oh, incorruptible soul! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 6! Goyo Guardian!"
At the end of the three paths of stars, three White-faced Constables wielding batons appeared. The Security Officers' plays were exactly the same.
Goyo Guardian ATK: 2800
"Here it comes! Security's iconic Level 6 Synchro Monster! The Goyo Guardian with a whopping 2800 ATK!" exclaimed the Female Commentator on the helicopter.
"I set three cards and end my turn!" The Security Officers ended their turns.
"Alright, the elites of Security have completed their setup! Can the fugitives break through this ironclad defense?" the Female Commentator shouted against the strong wind.
"So, the elite of this dimension are just a bunch of guys using standard-issue decks?" Kaito was the first to speed ahead, a look of disdain on his face. He decisively drew a card. "My turn! I draw!"
"I activate the Spell Card, Galaxy Cyclone! I target one set Spell or Trap Card on the field and destroy it."
A gust of wind surged from Kaito's hand, shattering one of his opponent's set cards.
"I summon Cipher Wing in Attack Position!"
"Next, since I control a 'Cipher' monster, the effect of Cipher Twin Raptor in my hand activates! I Special Summon this card!"
"I activate Cipher Twin Raptor's effect! Once per turn, I can target two 'Cipher' monsters on my field. Their Levels become 8 until the end of the turn."
Cipher Wing LV: 4→8
Cipher Twin Raptor LV: 6→8
"I overlay my two Level 8 monsters! O galaxy shining with light in the darkness, vengeful spirit, become my servant! Xyz Summon! Descend! Rank 8! Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!"
Beside Kaito's speeding D-Wheel, a brilliant vortex of light slowly formed. Moments later, accompanied by a resounding dragon's roar, a great dragon with galaxies swirling in its eyes emerged, flapping its wings and soaring through the sky, following Kaito's D-Wheel.
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon ATK: 3000
"Xyz Summon?" The Female Commentator on the helicopter was astonished by the magnificent appearance of Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon. "Is that the same summoning method as the new emperor of the Underground Turbo Duel Arena, The Lone Falcon? It seems Mr. Fugitive's strength should not be underestimated!"
"I activate the Trap Card, Bottomless Trap Hole! When an opponent summons, Flip Summons, or Special Summons a monster with 1500 or more ATK, that monster is destroyed and banished." Kaito's opponent declared, activating a set card.
"It seems our Security Officer came prepared! What will Mr. Fugitive do? If he doesn't take action soon, his hard-summoned ace monster will be lost to this trap!" the Female Commentator said enthusiastically.
Kaito calmly slapped a card onto his Duel Disk. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Forbidden Lance! I target one face-up monster on the field. That monster loses 800 ATK until the end of the turn, but it's unaffected by the effects of other Spell and Trap Cards."
