# Chapter 99: D-Wheel Crafting
Although the card art was blurred like a mosaic, Yūga Hōzumi instantly recognized what it was—the noble Rank 12 Xyz Monster, Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder, the ultimate Weapon born to slay gods yet ultimately named after a god.
It possesses a powerful Spell Speed 2 effect that allows it to detach 2 Overlay Materials to send all other cards on the field to the Graveyard. Furthermore, this effect has no once-per-turn restriction; as long as it has Overlay Materials, you can even chain a second activation if the first one is negated.
Most importantly, despite its high Rank of 12, it's extremely easy to Summon. This card can be Xyz Summoned by overlaying it directly on an Xyz Monster you control during the turn an Xyz Monster has battled.
Moreover, even if the shitty system gave this powerful monster directly to Yūga Hōzumi, he wouldn't lose his composure like this, as it would only empower him. But what the system provided this time was the card's source code!
In short, as long as he got his hands on this source code, in the future, every soldier in their XYZ Dimension could pilot a Gundam! Compared to them, what were those Fusion Mongrels in the Fusion Dimension but pathetic chumps?!
If they truly had an army where everyone piloted a Gundam, forget counterattacking the Fusion Dimension, Yūga Hōzumi felt he could conquer the entire universe!
Putting away his shock, Yūga Hōzumi reluctantly tore his gaze away from the new interface, opened his system inventory, and prepared to open all the quest reward card packs.

Ten Number card packs opened, and the cards neatly appeared in Yūga Hōzumi's hand.
"Although these aren't a huge boost for me right now, they're a pretty big reinforcement for Kaito and the others' Decks, especially for Serena, who doesn't have many Xyz Monsters at the moment," Yūga Hōzumi mused, then opened 20 packs of random Xyz Monsters of a specified Rank.
From these 20 packs, quite a few useful cards were opened:
Rank 3: Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss
Rank 4: Blade Armor Ninja, Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer, Constellar Ptolemy M7
Rank 5: Digital Bug Corebage
Rank 7: Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger
Rank 8: Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
As for the rest, they were just meaningless cards that lowered the prize draw rate.
After sorting out the cards, Yūga Hōzumi looked at the Emperor's Key on his chest.
One transformation had completely consumed the energy accumulated in the Emperor's Key, yet Utopia and Number S39: Utopia the Lightning remained in his Extra Deck.
"This charge progress is a bit slow!" Yūga Hōzumi muttered casually, fiddling with the Emperor's Key. "It'll be at least another month before I can legally use it for card printing again."
"Forget it, I'll finish today's prize draw and go to sleep."
With that, Yūga Hōzumi opened the prize draw interface.
[Congratulations, Host, you have received an SR-tier reward: Yusei Fudo's Mechanical Technology]
A dazzling light flashed before Yūga Hōzumi's eyes. Then, Yūga Hōzumi felt like his brain was about to explode, as if countless pieces of knowledge were being crammed into it, the pain nearly making him cry out.
A few minutes later, Yūga Hōzumi sat up on the bed, panting. "Holy crap, that was intense!"
[Detected item in Host's system inventory — Yusei Fudo's Wrench. It has now been automatically upgraded to an SR-tier item — Yusei Fudo's Toolbox]
Yūga Hōzumi ignored the system's message, recalling the knowledge the system had just poured into his mind.
In Yūga Hōzumi's mind, a blueprint of a D-Wheel naturally emerged, every detail perfectly clear.
A thought sparked in Yūga Hōzumi's mind—if only he had the materials nearby, he could hand-craft a D-Wheel right now.
"This is truly a case of help arriving just when it's needed! I was just worrying about how to get a D-Wheel in the Synchro Dimension, and here it is!"
Saying this, Yūga Hōzumi lost all trace of sleepiness. He rushed outside immediately, had Garros quickly deliver a few vehicles, and couldn't wait to start working. After all, what duelist could resist the temptation of dueling while speeding?
...
The next morning, when Kaito and Serena came looking for him, Yūga Hōzumi was just slowly waking up in the workshop.
"What are you doing?" Kaito asked curiously, looking at the three brand-new motorcycles beside Yūga Hōzumi.
"You're here!" a now fully awake Yūga Hōzumi exclaimed excitedly. "Quick, give them a try."
"What exactly are these?" Serena asked, frowning.
"Duel Disks unique to the Synchro Dimension—D-Wheels," Yūga Hōzumi explained, then clarified to them what D-Wheels and Riding Duels were.
"So, when we get there, we'll have to rely on these to battle?" Kaito asked, stroking one of the three D-Wheels—the one made of black, red, and silver, its front deliberately crafted by Yūga Hōzumi to resemble a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. He clearly couldn't get enough of it.
And though Serena didn't say anything, her eyes were fixed on a purple and gold D-Wheel, clearly itching to try it.
"Does the Duel Disk go here?" Kaito asked, pointing to a slot at the front of the vehicle.
"Exactly. Your Duel Disks are also the keys to your D-Wheels. Familiarize yourselves with them for a bit; I need to get some sleep. We'll leave in the afternoon," Yūga Hōzumi said with a yawn.
So for the entire morning, the residents of Orion District were astonished by the two D-Wheels chasing each other through the street, their effect no less disruptive than Ghost Fire youths tearing up the neighborhood.
By the time Yūga Hōzumi woke up and was ready to depart with the two, Sugihara Yo, who had come to see them off, looked at Yūga Hōzumi with a gaze that clearly spelled out: "I want one too."
"Alright, alright, we'll arrange one for you when we get back," Yūga Hōzumi said quickly, feeling a bit unnerved by Sugihara Yo's stare.
"That's more like it," Sugihara Yo nodded. "Well then, safe travels."
"Take these. The black one is for Yuto," Yūga Hōzumi said, tossing him two card boxes. "Heartland City is in your and Yuto's hands. When we return, that'll be the day we drive those Fusion Mongrels out of Heartland City."
"I look forward to that day," Sugihara Yo said with a smile.
"Let's go!" Yūga Hōzumi glanced at Kaito and Serena beside him, then opened the quest item given by the system: the Dimensional Teleporter, setting the destination to the Synchro Dimension.
Before the three, a shining gate of light appeared out of thin air. In unison, the three stomped on their throttles, and their three D-Wheels dashed forward.
After the three D-Wheels sequentially rushed into the Dimensional Gate, the gate slowly vanished, leaving nothing behind but the traces of the D-Wheels' accelerate on the ground.
