Chapter 583 - Chapter 131: Rebecca's Night (Part 3)

"Damn, you've only got your upper body modified, where are you touching without any awareness?" Mercer sat up, half-laughing, half-crying, but she refused to move, staying right on his lap, her entire body leaning on him.

"Well, I'm definitely going to touch where it feels right, aren't I?" Rebecca replied with a cheeky smile, not the least bit shy, wrapping one arm around his neck while the other caressed his face, "You've got a pretty big room here, and the bed is quite spacious..."

"Considering moving to the master bedroom? I can sleep in the guest room." Mercer teased, while Rebecca showed her true colors and bared her teeth fiercely, "Hey! Do you know I'm already an adult? What's your excuse now?"

"Don't think I don't know your birthday is still a few days away..."

Before Mercer could finish, Rebecca chuckled with a triumphant look on her face and said:

"You don't get it, do you? When I was born, my dad forgot to register my birth for three months. When he finally did, the clerk just wrote down the date as the current day..."

She laughed slyly, like a little demon, "Oh, and I also got Venus to help me change the date in the records to the correct date..."

"So I've missed your coming-of-age birthday?" Mercer was taken aback, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I haven't even prepared a gift."

Rebecca didn't mind at all, just laughed and hugged his neck, "Oh, it doesn't matter anyway..."

"But you didn't mention it when we celebrated your birthday last year either." Mercer was starting to sense something was off, "Are you tricking me?"

"Damn it, can't you just stop talking nonsense! Are you capable or not? Have you obsolete yourself? Want me to buy a big cannon for you?" Rebecca glared at him, and without another word, started pulling at his clothes.

Mercer hesitated, holding his hands up defensively, "Weren't you here to drink?"

"Drink! I'll drink you under the table!" Rebecca said through gritted teeth, reaching for the beer. But before she could crawl over, Mercer suddenly reached out and pinned her to the bed.

He lowered his head close to her neck, half-leaning on her, "Did you really think you could overpower me now?"

"Eh!?" Rebecca froze for a moment, then just grinned and arched her back, teasingly swaying her body, "Oh, you're a bit strong, I can't move."

Damn, what a seductress...

Seeing Mercer temporarily unmoving, Rebecca grew genuinely frustrated—you're not getting away today!

If I let you slip away now, who knows when you'll be free again?

Mercer's been so busy lately that I can't even see him for a whole day. Missing this chance, who knows when will be the next time, he might not even be free on my birthday.

She flipped over, turning around, and without a word, grabbed his face and kissed him.

Sweet—she had chewed gum beforehand.

The room grew a bit quiet, but soon it was filled with Rebecca's excited, heavy breathing, "Mercer..."

"Are you really sure about this?" Mercer said honestly, "I still haven't thought about what to do after this..."

"Just tell me, do you like me or not!" Rebecca said, holding him and looking at him without blinking, showing no signs of retreat.

"...I do." Mercer admitted, gently stroking her green hair and her cheek, and couldn't help but lower his head to kiss her again, her tiny body like a little warm furnace.

In the unheated room, slightly chilly, she warmed him to the core.

Rebecca giggled twice, then unhesitatingly tossed all the bothersome clothes away, "I like you too, isn't that enough? Everything else...who cares!"

She'd been restraining herself for too long. If Mercer had Qiwei to occasionally relieve his stress, she had nowhere to vent her pent-up frustration over the years.

Emotions are emotions... Damn it, let me release all this pent-up energy first!

Rebecca eagerly tore open his clothes, froze at the sight of his slightly cold mechanical upper body, then looked up at his face, "Once we're done with all this mess...change your body back, okay?"

"Sure, I promise you." Mercer said softly, then smiled and lowered his head, "Or we could wait until I change back?"

He was just teasing her, and as expected, Rebecca immediately bit his shoulder, "Don't say such a buzzkill thing at a time like this!"

"Okay, okay... So, I like you. Do you like hearing that?" At his words, she let go of him immediately, looking up at his face with only gentleness in her eyes, "Say it with more conviction!"

Instead of speaking, Mercer just leaned down and kissed her, until her body felt burning hot.

Rebecca reached out and hugged his neck tightly, pressing their cheeks together, "Say it again."

"I like you." Mercer said, his breathing growing heavier.

She smirked silently, her increasingly warm cheeks and pounding heart betraying her uncontrollable excitement.

As their eyes met, their tender gazes interlocked, no more words were needed.
