Later I will also introduce higher realms of magic power system, as just like immortal plane there is also a god plane. But that will be for later chapters.
Pov: Third person
Gullnor is feeling happy and deeply familiar with his surroundings. The environment around him is unlike the mortal plane or any lower world. The sky is a bright blue, dotted with white clouds. Some clouds are even colored differently. The green landscape is filled with mountains and rivers. A variety of beasts inhabit these areas. Even the weakest among them is as strong as a budding void refining realm cultivator.
In the immortal world, though, these beasts are just above the lowest ranks. They cannot teleport because the space laws here are much stricter. Only those in the immortal realm can break space and move freely. Any living creature that senses his aura flees in fear, running as far away as possible. Seeing this makes Gullnor proud; he is finally receiving the respect he deserves.
He takes a deep breath and smiles. This plane has a thousand times more spiritual energy than the mortal world. He is at the outskirts of the immortal plane. There are many central and higher regions in the immortal plane that have a million times more energy concentration. But there's more; in addition to spiritual energy, there is a higher form called immortal energy. This energy is cultivated when someone reaches the immortal realm.
He is back now, so he can relax. As he moves forward at normal speed, he absorbs immortal energy to regain the strength he spent escaping the mortal plane.
While heading toward his clan, he pulls out a jade token and crushes it. His father gave him this token, telling him to break it when he needed help. Crushing it informs his clan of his location, and now the clan elders will be on their way to rescue him.
The immortal world is vast. Despite being powerful in the mortal realm, he only has the initial stage of Human immortal realm cultivation, which still makes him a prodigy in his clan. Even at his fastest, using the Heavenly bead, he cannot reach his clan's location for years.
That's how great the distances are in the immortal realm. He traveled to the edge of the universe in the mortal realm in just a few minutes, but here, reaching his clan will take years.
Only someone at the True immortal realm, or a magical artifact from that realm or higher, can cover great distances in the immortal world. Even then, they need months to travel from one region to another. However, that time is insignificant in an immortal's life. Immortals, as the name suggests, rarely die of old age, which lasts millions of years. Most perish in battles or during breakthroughs.
He doesn't worry about reaching his clan. His clan has elders in the True immortal realm, and his father is at the Golden immortal realm. If his father comes personally, he could return to his clan in just a few hours. That is the power of the Golden immortal realm.
Reaching breakthroughs in the immortal realm is like crossing a chasm compared to the mortal realms. There are more chances for someone in the foundation establishment realm to defeat a transcendence realm expert than for a True immortal to stand against a Golden immortal.
After finding a suitable spot, he falls asleep. About an hour later, a long dragon roar shakes thousands of miles, waking him up. He sees a gigantic golden dragon hovering in the area, stretching hundreds of thousands of miles. Its presence alone kills living creatures across the vast land.
But he is fine, even happy, because his father is here. Their reunion is long-awaited. His father is impressed by his growth. At only a few thousand years old, he has reached the Human immortal realm. If he had consumed the Blue star world or others, he might have reached the Heaven immortal realm.
After their meeting, he plans to return to his clan's domain before telling his father about that strange world and Vik. As projected, Vik hasn't forgotten the shame of his escape. This time, Gullnor plans to return with more power and potentially destroy that entire world. They will need permission from the immortal legion, as any being above the Heaven immortal realm is prohibited from entering the mortal plane.
Unbeknownst to him, the wall that separated the mortal plane is now destroyed, and the force responsible is following him back to his clan domain.
Soon, Gullnor reaches his clan domain, where he sees various dragons flying and resting around floating mountains. There are large pagodas and mansions stretching thousands of miles, and the main palace is as big as the sun in the Blue star solar system.
This sight fills him with nostalgia. But before he can take another breath at home, a sudden feeling of dread washes over him. An oppressive force descends upon the entire Four clawed dragon domain.
His father and all the elders quickly sense it. The source is the arrow he saw in Vik's hands. How could it have followed him all the way here? Looking closer, he sees the arrow is made from bones, likely from some birds. A mocking sound echoes like birds chirping, and thousands of bird spirits become visible to him.
Fear and terror hit him hard. They are here for revenge, and they will kill him in his own home, just as he killed them in theirs. He screams, "Father! It's the damn bird! Kill it! Destroy that arrow! It's here to kill me!"
His father looks at him with anger. He cannot fathom his proud son being frightened by a bone arrow made from filthy bird bones. If it were from the Royal Phoenix clan, he might understand, but this?
His father feels the need to teach his son a lesson, but first, he wants to protect his domain. He snorts at the insect invading their space. Using his Golden immortal powers, he could erase it from existence. To his horror, nothing works. The arrow, which he looks at with disdain, speeds toward him.
The seemingly impenetrable scales of the Golden immortal realm dragon stand no chance. Attacks and forbidden techniques fail to stop it. It seems indestructible. The clan leader, Gullnor's father, is the first to fall, followed by a massacre. Dragons try to flee, but they cannot outrun the arrow.
Gullnor, the main target, watches as his entire clan dies in their home. This is his karma, returning to punish him. He now faces the same pain Chakor felt when he killed his clan in the Azure mountains.
At the end of the massacre, Gullnor is pulled away by the arrow that pierces his dragon spine, taking him back to the mortal plane as it promised to bury him in the backyard of his mountain.
