Lu Jingyan and Mei Xiaotong looked at the closed door as they both sighed then Mei Xiaotong remembered what she heard earlier
"So. Sister in law?" Mei Xiaotong asked Lu Jingyan as she smiled
"Alright, alright. I will explain to you once we are inside" Lu Jingyan said as they both walked into her father's ward
"So. You just casually mentioned that you want a romance like those K dramas and he was ready to give it to you?" Mei Xiaotong asked earning a nod from Lu Jingyan.
Mei Xiaotong couldn't believe her ears as she slumped on the couch
"So the upgraded ward was from him? Leng Xuanmo?" She asked
"Have you talked to him since then?" She asked
"When I went yesterday he was not concious yet" Lu Jingyan said
"What of now? He would be concious now. Why don't you go meet him"
"Why should I? It doesn't matter anyways" Lu Jingyan said
"No. It matters, you would soon be the future Mrs Leng. So you need to show your right and power to those who bullied you" Mei Xiaotong said already standing up dragging Lu Jingyan after her
"What are you doing?" Lu Jingyan asked
"Preparing you to meet your future husband" Mei Xiaotong said pushing her out the ward
"No" Lu Jingyan said but Mei Xiaotong already closed the door and she sighed.
With no other option she decided to just walk in and besides she still need to thank him for what he did to her father the other day.
"Sister in law?" Leng Yumo called after the door opened
"Hello" she said looking at Leng Meixuan who's sitting beside Leng Xuanmo
"How are you?" She asked Leng Xuanmo
"Am fine. Thank you for yesterday" he said. Lu Jingyan frantically shoo her hand like she shook her head
"It's nothing. We both helped each other. But one is bigger than one" she said
"Sister in law, Don't be modest" Leng Yumo said
"True. You are the one who did the most help anyways" Leng Xuanmo said making Lu Jingyan smile
"Actually I really appreciate you upgraded my father's treatment. Without it I know how to pay for the treatment by the end of the month. So I really am grateful for that" Lu Jingyan said.
Leng Meixuan realized this was going no where so she decided to spice it up as a payment for what her and her friend did to her earlier by showing her the rightful place.
"Don't mention it. I am sure brother Xuanmo was just helping the poor and needy" she said indicating the fact that she has nothing and she was worthless. Which earn her a glare from Leng Xuanmo but Leng Meixuan decided to ignore it
Leng Yumo heard what Leng Meixuan said and she looked at her in disbelief
"Meixuan. What are you doing? Can you not make things complicated for once?" She said
"Shut up. Since you and brother Xuanmo won't speak the truth,I better do it for you" Leng Meixuan said then face Lu Jingyan with smile
"Jingyan, I know you won't feel bad for what I said. But it indeed the truth you really are poor and needy. And it's in the Leng's nature to give to the poor and needy" Leng Meixuan said making sure that Lu Jingyan pick that she is poor and she was in need of money.
Leng Yumo looked at Leng Meixuan as she sighed inwardly and she wanted to say something and decided against it. She looked at her brother
