I couldn't decide if finding my favorite flowers blooming in Liam's private garden was pure coincidence or something far more calculated.
Part of me didn't want to know the answer.
I already understood he had been watching me long before our first meeting. He'd made that clear through his actions. The custom ring that fit my finger perfectly, the clothes in exactly my size waiting in his closet, the way he'd known I could touch him when others couldn't.
What should have terrified me only sent thrills racing through my blood. That realization scared me more than anything else.
"Are you finished staring at me, or can you go back inside and give me some space?"
He'd been observing me for several minutes now. Initially, I hadn't noticed his presence, but then that familiar sensation crept over me. The electric awareness that someone was studying my every movement.
Instead of discomfort, anticipation coursed through my veins. Heat gathered low in my belly.
