Chapter 164 - Chapter 68: Unexpected Delight (4k)_2

Might Guy's physical abilities were strengthened once again, and he unleashed his Chakra to swiftly kick at Shisui.

Shisui, aware that the Breath of Rock: Full Concentration breathing technique would greatly enhance physical effects, had no intention of pursuing the attack. After a single palm strike, he immediately used Instant Body Jutsu to leave, causing Might Guy's attack to miss once more.

"As expected, very strong." Shisui thought to himself as he looked at the small pit left by Might Guy's kick.

The ensuing battle left Might Guy feeling incredibly stifled. Except for at the very beginning, he never even touched Shisui once.

"Caught you!" Just as Might Guy used Full Concentration Breath for the second time, hitting Shisui at his limit, his foot suddenly passed through Shisui's body.

"An illusion?" Might Guy was taken aback.

At that moment, a flaming kunai flew past Might Guy's side.

"It's over," Shisui said. He could have thrown it directly at Might Guy during the Genjutsu, but they're not enemies, so there was no need.

"It was truly a youthful battle!" Might Guy acknowledged his defeat, laughing and giving Shisui a thumbs up.

"There are no peers at Shisui's level now, not even Kakashi, who is two years older, would be his match," Mokgetsu judged in his heart.

Even though Kakashi might have more Chakra, Mokgetsu didn't think Kakashi would be a match for Shisui. Without using the Sharingan, it might be fifty-fifty, because Kakashi has more battle experience. But once the Sharingan is used, Kakashi is no match for Shisui.

Mokgetsu felt that he was slowly nurturing Shisui into a BOSS. In the original, it would be impossible for Shisui to have such power at this age.

The early activation of the Sharingan led to a sharp increase in spiritual ability, coupled with physical training through breathing techniques, making Shisui more and more formidable.

"You are all doing great, take a break and continue the training later," Mokgetsu said with a warm smile.

After letting the disciples rest, Mokgetsu began calculating how to raise Might Guy's trust level during his upcoming birthday.

Today is already December 10th, only twenty-one days until Might Guy's birthday.

Based on observing the students' expressions and behaviors, Mokgetsu confirmed that when he helped Shisui celebrate his birthday, the other disciples' trust also increased slightly. So, right now Might Guy should have a higher trust level than Shisui did before his birthday.

However, Mokgetsu wasn't sure of the extent since trust levels can't be determined or gauged; he could only speculate based on the students' behavior.

To be safe, Mokgetsu aimed to do his best and elevate Might Guy's mood to break through to trust level four in one go.

But Might Guy's situation is a bit more challenging as, unlike Shisui, who's been an orphan for some time, Might Guy has his father by his side and shares a good relationship with him, lacking no paternal love.

Gifting ninja tools would be of little use since Might Guy rarely uses them, and it might seem redundant, especially after having gifted Shisui.

In fact, Mokgetsu had planned the surprise for a while, but he really couldn't think of a better idea for Might Guy.

"Perhaps I can start with Guy's father." Mokgetsu suddenly thought of something, realizing his previous ideas were too narrow.

Increasing a disciple's trust level might not necessarily mean nitpicking at the disciple himself; expanding the scope could help.

There were over half a month left, so Mokgetsu wasn't in a rush to decide on a final plan.

In the afternoon, since it was a Sunday, Mokgetsu went to Asuma's house to tutor him.

"Teacher Mokgetsu, how's your Wind Release training going?" Asuma asked curiously during his break.

"Though I haven't become the Wind Release genius you expected, it seems I'm not doing too poorly either," Mokgetsu replied with a smile.

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!" Mokgetsu swiftly formed hand seals and unleashed a powerful gust toward the large tree.

Swish swish!!

Under the force of the gust, the large tree didn't break immediately but was bent by the wind, its leaves rustling continuously.

"Still much weaker than Fire Release and Water Release," Mokgetsu sighed while looking at the slightly bent tree.

In preparation to build his persona, Mokgetsu made ample preparations, borrowing extensive Wind Release material from the library and even consulting Minato, presenting himself as a novice in Wind Release.

"It's already very strong, Teacher Mokgetsu. You've only been learning for just over a month," Asuma felt hopeful about his Wind Release mastery.

"You also need to diligently cultivate Fire Release. Don't wait until I finish learning Wind Release and you haven't fully grasped your training," Mokgetsu said while patting Asuma's head, smiling.

"I definitely won't. Lately, I feel my Fire Release has become much stronger," Asuma assured, expressing his intention not to let Mokgetsu down.

After escorting Asuma home, Mokgetsu spotted Sarutobi Hiruzen smoking in the class.

"Lord Third Hokage," Mokgetsu greeted.

"Training completed? Well done," Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded with a smile.

As Mokgetsu was about to leave, Sarutobi Hiruzen recalled something and called him back.

"Mokgetsu, have you decided on the candidates for that intern plan?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked. Recently, he finalized the intern plan that Mokgetsu revised and appointed Mokgetsu as the person in charge.

"Yes, it's all done. The groupings and guiding teachers have already been determined," Mokgetsu nodded, noting that there were only ten days left until the Ninja Academy closes for vacation; he wasn't going to delay it until the last moment.

"The list should include Might Guy and Uchiha Obito, right?" Sarutobi Hiruzen continued.

"Yes, it does. They were the top two during the fourth-grade exam last time," Mokgetsu replied.

"Then, I'll trouble you this time, Mokgetsu. Please modify the list to remove one person or add two more. I have a graduated ninja who needs your guidance. Arrange for him to team up with Might Guy and Uchiha Obito, with you as the guiding teacher," Sarutobi Hiruzen said, outlining his plan.

Looking at Mokgetsu, Sarutobi Hiruzen remembered Kakashi, who currently had no team to join.

Sarutobi Hiruzen didn't want Kakashi to continue in such a downward spiral. Obito and Might Guy were among the few people Kakashi currently cared about, and Mokgetsu was deemed by Sarutobi Hiruzen as an excellent teacher with strong educational abilities.

With a month-long holiday plus three months of internship in the third semester, totaling four months, Sarutobi Hiruzen hoped not for Kakashi to entirely step out of his shadow during these four months, but at least not remain this way.

"Isn't it somewhat inappropriate for a graduated student to participate in an internship?" Mokgetsu listened to Sarutobi Hiruzen and speculated on who this inserted individual might be.

Having the chance to become Kakashi's guiding teacher was an unexpected surprise, but Mokgetsu had to act accordingly.

"Generally, it would be, but it's also out of necessity," Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed and related Kakashi's story to Mokgetsu.

From a swiftly graduated Chunin heralded as a super genius to now struggling to find a guiding teacher.

"So, he's White Fang's child?" Mokgetsu displayed surprise and regret, seemingly concerned about Kakashi.

"Lord Third Hokage, don't worry. Leave Kakashi to me. I'll do my utmost to help him overcome his shadow and reclaim his life." Mokgetsu said earnestly.

"White Fang is a ninja I greatly admire. I can't let his child live in the shadows forever," Mokgetsu continued.

"With your assurance, Mokgetsu, I feel relieved," Sarutobi Hiruzen said with a beaming smile.

It was an unexpected bonus that Mokgetsu turned out to be a fan of White Fang.

After returning, Mokgetsu revised the internship plan. Initially, he planned to group Nohara Rin, Obito, and Might Guy together. Since the Third Hokage wanted to add Kakashi, Mokgetsu opted to exclude Nohara Rin from the intern plan.

Joining those Chunin teachers for missions was less beneficial compared to learning under his Shadow Clone for four months.
