Seeing the "Vampire's Domain" beside her being blasted away, Fraulein couldn't help but frown slightly.
"Vampire's Domain" is quite important for her Deck's operation. The Vampire Deck's expansion relies heavily on Life Points, and the domain precisely has the crucial effect of "absorbing damage dealt to the opponent to restore blood volume."
Additionally, most of the main Vampire Monsters rely on Tribute Summons to appear, and this "Vampire's Domain" also has the very important ability to "add additional Normal Summon counts."
Overall, this Continuous Magic being destroyed by Sunrise Hero here is actually a bit painful.
But thanks to the Draining Shield recovering some blood, at least her bloodline is still quite abundant.
"The battle continues," Youyu said, "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero, attack 'Vampire Grimson!'"
Absolute Zero Hero whipped up a cold wave around him, with crystal clear ice particles swirling around a transparent storm, his white cloak fluttering in the wind.
Countless ice crystals passed through Vampire Grimson's body like a rain of flowers, the Vampire general let out a sharp and mournful scream, shattered under the extreme cold.
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 6700 → LP 3600]
The cold wave swept across Fraulein's body, her flower-like figure appearing frail and weak in the cold wind as if a slight breeze would cause her to wither.
Yet she stubbornly held her ground, sliding back several steps but firmly standing tall, like a bamboo segment unwilling to bend.
Originally, "Vampire Grimson" was a crucial part of her defense line. Grimson can, by paying 1000 Life Points, substitute destruction of any Monster on her field and has an overall protective effect.
But Youyu had chosen to reduce Grimson's attack power, so if Fraulein used Grimson's substitute destruction effect, it would leave Grimson with 0 attack power, defenseless and exposed to continue taking attacks.
That would essentially be like standing naked in front of the opponent.
"Prioritizing the attack on Grimson... is it a coincidence?" Fraulein frowned, "or maybe he understands my Deck?"
"It's not over yet," Youyu raised his hand, "next, Elemental Hero Sunrise, attack 'Vampire Scarlet Scourge!'"
The strongest figure finally came into play. A strong golden light radiated from his palm, dazzling like the rising sun, overlooking, causing the pale-faced vampires to reveal unpleasant expressions.
Although Yu-Gi-Oh's vampires are not "killed by sunlight" like traditional vampires, they, as the blood race, naturally cannot like sunlight, and Sunrise Hero, like the incarnation of the sun, can be said to be their nemesis.
But Fraulein only raised her head, her blood-red eyes shining like rubies.
"I've been waiting for this moment."
Youyu frowned slightly.
"At this moment," she flipped her hand card and increased her volume, "activate the effect of myself in the hand—
—— 'Vampire Fraulein' effect.
During both attacks of Monster declaration, I can special summon myself directly."
A blood mist gathered, and intangible Magic Power converged in the area. Blood and mist formed a vortex on the field, and the vampires on the field stepped back, lowering their noble heads as if making way for the debut of their Queen.
In the center of the vortex, a graceful figure gradually rose. Her features were exquisite and impeccable, her pale skin resembled a porcelain doll. Vampire Fraulein held a parasol like a black moon rose, walking out slowly.
[Vampire Fraulein, DEF 2000]
"You personally made an appearance." Youyu pondered, "Then stop the Battle Recall, I won't attack."
Vampire Fraulein, as long as this card is on the field, when an Undead-Type Monster on your side battles the opponent, you can pay Life Points in multiples of 100 and add the paid number of Life Points to the attacking monster's attack power.
So if you continue attacking, Fraulein will undoubtedly choose to pay Life Points to convert into Scarlet Scourge's attack power, and Sunrise Hero would instead be counter-killed.
"I set a card face-down on the field, turn ends." Youyu said.
Vampire Fraulein was a bit surprised.
You didn't attack after all?
Are you wary of my special effect...
...or do you know my abilities?
She felt a bit irritated. She felt as if the opponent had seen through her actions from the beginning of the duel, knowing all her operations, card effects, and strategy thoughts.
To a Duelist, this was like standing naked in front of an opponent, making her feel bad.
"My turn."
Vampire Fraulein quickly played the card she drew.
"Magic Card 'Pot of Greed,' draw three cards from the Deck, then discard two cards from the hand."
She quickly picked out the two cards to discard and continued, "Plus, one of the cards just discarded was 'Broww, Huntsman of Dark World.' When this card is discarded by a card effect, draw one card."
She then inserted another card into the Duel Disc.
"Magic Card 'Akashic Records,' draw two cards from the Deck, but if a card that has been used in this duel is drawn, it must be banished from the game."
Soon after, a card left her graveyard.
"And then the effect of 'Vampire Retainer' which was discarded to the graveyard earlier," she showed the card, "send 'Dragonblood Duke - Vampire' from the hand to the graveyard, special summon myself!"
Bloody mist rolled, and the second Retainer leaped onto the field.
[Vampire Retainer, ATK 1200]
"Retainer's effect, pay 500 Life Points, add a 'Vampire' Magic or Trap Card from the Deck to the hand." Fraulein revealed the card she was searching for, "I add the Counter Trap 'Vampire's Domination' from the Deck to the hand."
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 3600 → LP 3100]
Youyu frowned slightly.
Again, that troublesome Counter Trap...
Vampire's Domination can negate any Magic, Trap, or Monster Effect and destroy it, possessing the top-tier single-card performance in the Vampire series, extremely powerful.
What's more impressive is that this card can be searched by other card effects, increasing the overall strength of the Deck significantly.
"Use 'Vampire's Familiar' and 'Vampire Retainer' on the field as Tributes for a Tribute Summon."
Fraulein raised her small hand, and her tone rose sharply.
"Enchanting blood race witch, the empire's strongest servant—
——Vampire Vamp, Summon!"
The Apostle and Retainer both vanished, with blood bubbling up from the ground. A graceful female vampire took the stage, her gloved right hand rested on her slender white waist, her beautiful face seemed to possess magic, every smile carrying an indescribable magnetism.
[Vampire Vamp, ATK 2000]
Her appearance immediately set off another frenzy among the goofy players.
"AWSL!"
"Mom, I'm in love again!"
"Wife, what are you doing here? Come home with me!"
"Let me tell you a secret, your wife is awesome..."
The vampires around were once again bewildered.
How can you have so many wives?
