Although all of Fujino's remaining Monsters were in Defense Position, meaning no damage could be dealt even with an extra attack, discarding Favorite Hero here seemed like a loss. But considering the opponent was the board-wipe-immune Kaiju Card Deck, any Monster could be turned into fodder in an instant, so it was better to seize the chance to cut down his defenses while he could.
"I set one card and end my turn," Youyu said.
Fujino wiped his mouth. "As expected of the Duel King, that was a very effective attack. Yeah, that really hurt. But... heh-heh..."

"From my Card Deck, I add the Field Magic Kyoutou Waterfront to my hand," Fujino raised his voice. "Then I activate the Field Magic Kyoutou Waterfront again!"
Temple of the Kings had only just been constructed, yet it was immediately crushed into powder by the once again expanding Steel City. Buildings collapsed, towers crumbled, and dust billowed in all directions.
"I use the Magic Card Sacred Sword of Seven Stars to banish a Level 7 Monster from my hand or my field, and draw two cards!

"By this effect, I destroy Kumongous!"
As his voice fell, the giant spider Kaiju exploded in midair, blood-red chunks flying in all directions.
Fujino's lips curled upward into a dangerous, sinister grin, like a villain whose plot had just succeeded.

A card automatically popped out from his Card Deck. He drew it into his hand and raised it high above his head.
