"It's on both of us now."
I flexed my hand slightly testing it, making sure it was still mine.
"For now," I added.
ADANNA POV (Point of view)
"For now," I echoed, because that was the problem, nothing stayed stable for long anymore.
"Then we don't give it time to stabilize," Darian said.
The system pulsed again.... it was less precise, but heavier like it was spreading instead of focusing.
DARIAN POV (Point of view)
"Yeah… I feel that," I muttered.
"It's not aiming anymore."
"It's saturating," Adanna said.
"That sounds worse."
"It is." She replied
Because instead of controlling one action, it was influencing everything slightly amd constantly.
I took a step and felt resistance, not full control but interference.
ADANNA POV (Point of view)
"I felt that," I said.
"Yeah." Darian replied
I tried again and this time..... it worked but slower.
"It's not replacing now," I said.
"It's competing."
"With us?" Darian asked
