The sound of Hudson's sword broke the silence around them as he had a practice fight with Kaito.
" So who do you think is the invisible person who keeps saving me ?" Hudson asked and Kaito leaped over him and vanished into a puff of smoke , appearing behind Hudson and holding his sword close to the human's neck.
" Your ex- girlfriend."
" i have never had a girlfriend before." Hudson said then Kaito released him.
" Maybe it was your mother." Kaito said and he put his sword back into its sheath.
" My mother doesn't have magical powers." Hudson said then he grabbed the back of Kaito's head and pulled him backwards.
" We aren't done fighting , Kaito."
" You're getting rather comfy using my name, aren't you ?"
" Dude you use my name and I don't have a problem with it and besides isn't trying to be mysterious all the time..... tiring?" Hudson asked, letting go off Kaito.
The sound of a branch breaking from a nearby tree caught their attention and Hudson turned around to see Jack climbing up a tree that was near the central battle field then he flipped from one tree to the next then when he finally decided to get down he did a double flip and landed on his feet and a green creature slithered towards them.
He bowed in front of Hudson like a Circus performer bowed before his audience.
" There's a snake on your shoe." Hudson said and Jack didn't even look down.
" He's my snake."Jack said then he grinned.
" I heard that Twisted Love controls the incubus and the demons that reside in your hearts." Jack said.
" There are no demons inside my heart and who is Twisted Love ? " Hudson asked then he paused briefly as he remembered what Eros had told him about Twisted Love.
" Oh right. He has a power that's the complete opposite of Eros' power." Hudson said
" He uses emotions to create monsters."
" If your love's too big it's a grave you dig." Jack said then he laughed like a psycho who just heard some juicy gossip.
" Thanks for the insight Jack. Now can you stop being creepy for one second ?" Kaito said and Jack pouted.
" Ok. I'll give you an heads up the next time I want to do some creepy shit." Jack said and his entire head spun around on his body.
" Jesus Christ, Jack ! " Atarro called as he walked up behind the tall fluffy haired man , holding his hand in front of his face , to shield his eyes from the disturbing scene.
" Jack OFF ! " The creepy man said signaling his exit then he did a few somersaults away from them.
" What does that even mean ?" Hudson asked with a questioning look on his face and Kaito shook his head as if he was stressed out.
"I have no idea."
There was a small moment of silence before Enmei walked over to Hudson with a new cup with more of the potion.
" Hudson !" She called and the blonde boy turned to face her , his green eyes looked like glowing elmeralds and as she came towards him he felt a presence shift right in front of him.
She handed him the cup and as soon as he was about to take a sip an invisible force sent the cup flying out his hand.
"Maybe I shouldn't be having alcohol ." Hudson said.
"Thanks though."
" i don't understand . It's as if someone knows ..." She trailed off
" I'm going to the ladies room." Enmei said and Hudson nodded
" Reveal yourself !" Kaito shouted looking up at the cup.
" Are you the one who has been protecting Hudson ?"
The cup fell and the contents glowed.
" Why is the drink Enmei got you glowing ? " Kaito asked and Hudson stared st it .....
" I dont know...but if that thing's been protecting me up until now its safe to say that the drink Enmei got me wasn't safe. It looks toxic."
" Are you saying she tried to poison y-"
" NO ! My best friend wouldn't do that. "
" Someone must have accessed the cup before she did or maybe the person who poured the drink wanted to poison me."
" You know for someone who has such great power Im suprized you aren't targeted more often."
Hudson didn't reply . He just kept thinking about Enmei and how she kept bringing him a drink that glowed.
He realized that at some point she must have seen that it looked unnatural but he ignored the thought trying to stay in denial
He scooped up the substance back into the cup and decided that he'd do some research to figure out what it was.
" I'll be back in a second Hudson said then he teleported to his house where Angelica, Enmei's friend who had turned into a zombie had been tied up in a corner in his room.
" Hey Angel," He said and she grunted , He searched for his apparatus and poured the suspected poison into a chemical tube.
He then put it into the tiny fridge that was inside of his room.
" Gelly." He spoke to the zombie girl and she just stared at him grunting every now and again.
" I know you want to be free but the others would think I'm crazy if they saw you here. I know you shared a dream with Enmei and I want you around to see that dream come through. I'm proud of her and I know she's capable of the great things she wants to achieve and you ....you deserve to be there watching her fight."
He took a deep breath.
He didn't cry and he didn't feel weird talking to a zombie because that zombie was stil Angelica.
She was the first girl he and Eros had ever saved and when Enmei and Eros seemed to hate him he'd sill have Angelica.
To him Angelica was a symbol of their bond.
It didn't matter that she was a zombie.
She was Enmei's friend and so she was automatically his friend too.
There was a loud knock on his door that forced Hudson to get up and walk out of his room and to the front of his apartment.
" Hello ?" Hudson opened his door slightly and peeked outside.
" I'm from the Department of Segregation , Have you seen any Zombies around here ?"
We are responsible for taking them to Zone Z where they'll be utilised by the game." The man standing outside Hudson's door said and Hudson furrowed his brows.
He never knew that such a thing existed.
" No. No Zombies around here." Hudson lied then he closed his door quickly.
" I'll contact you immediately if I see one of those scary zombies.." Hudson said then He walked back to his room and looked at Angelica.
" This one isn't scary at all." He whispered and for a moment he felt as though he needed to stop the world to process all that was happening around him.
" I'm going to play you a song before I go back to the game." He sat on his bed and took up his old guitar and played a few notes for the zombie in his room.
She groaned randomly but never seemed to respond to anything he did.
He played a beautiful song.
"It's a song by the guy you like. Eros used to play this all the time at his little club meets " Hudson said and then he sighed.
[ Five Hours Until The Knight Trials ]
Hudson was startled by the system.
" Oh right. I can't play music for a zombie all day. I have to save the World." Hudson said then he put down his guitar and stood up.
" Let's hope i win." He saluted at Angelica then Vanished.
Hudson appeared halfway from the central battlefield near their College Campus and started walking the rest of the way, taking in the nostalgic scene as he did.
He was wishing he could go to Science Club again when the screeching sound of a Beast caught his attention.
" Help !" A soft and tiny voice screamed and Hudson searched around for the person calling out.
A girl who looked a few years younger than him was being held down by a man with an eyebrow piercing and blue hair.
Hudson ran towards them.
" Kami, give me the power of a pure love." He shouted , leaping into the air and activating his powers. He tried to reinact what Eros did when he used his powers.
The man turned to face him , still pinning the girl to the wall.
" Well if isn't Eros' slave. Aren't you running late for the Knight Trials ? " The man asked then he pushed the girl on to the floor and turned completely to face Hudson.
For a split second the girl's eyes glowed with sadness or anger or something darker.
The man smirked and got ready to attack Hudson but Hudson dissappeared and reappeared above him.
" I learnt this trick from Kaito !" Hudson said then he spinned in the air and used his powers to create a pink pole.
He slapped the man with it while still floating in mid air , upside down and smirking.
The blue haired man fell to the ground and Hudson landed on his feet beside him. He walked over to the girl.
" Are you ok ? " He asked reaching his hand out to the girl to help her up and she smiled a creepy smile , her teeth becoming sharp.
" I've never been better .."
" You're an incubus ?" Hudson said backing away fro the girl he just saved and he panicked.
' The person I saved and the one I hurt were both evil ? Or did I just kill a man who was fighting to save himself.' Hudson thought and his eyes widened.
' I SAVED THE WRONG PERSON '
For a moment he wondered if he could ever call himself a hero
" Kami , give me the power of a pure love." He shouted and he glowed with bright pink beams of power
" Show them the power of a pure thought." Hudson said , he was just about to draw a cross in the air to destroy the demon when she turned into his best friend.
He halted suddenly the fidgeted with his hands for a second.
" THAT WON'T WORK ON ME." Hudson shouted then he flipped into the air and drew the cross infront of the demon.
She disintegrated.
He let himself fall to the ground and just sat there.
' I can't let anyone know that I made such big mistake ' He thought, his back was on the ground and he stared up at the stars.
The road was empty and the neon signs from the stores glowed around him. The wind howled and the moon watched him with pity.
" What's God doing right now ? I hope he's too busy painting the sky to notice how much of a failure I am. I am nothing like him even though I tried." Hudson thought and he stretched his arm above him and from an angle it looked like he could grab the stars.

He shut his eyes wishing everything was just a bad dream.
