Chapter 5 - Ch 5 |Training (2)

The battle between Krillin and me was going as I expected he just wasn't powerful enough to land a decisive hit.

He then switched to also using Ki techniques and this is where things got interesting.

As he was sending a barrage of punches at me that I was dodging he stepped back and quickly took a somewhat familiar posture but I was too late to recognize it and react.

"Solar Flare!" He shouted and a bright light blinded me but the rest of the group knew what the attack was and shielded their eyes.

Just as I thought Krillin was going to get a hit in, I actually seemed to sense him coming closer to me. I don't know if it was his Ki I was sensing, or maybe some external influence, but I was able to quickly block his kick that sent me sliding back.

Once I regained my sight, I saw a Destructo Disk headed my way and I knew how powerful it was.

I flared my aura, of my true power and I caught the Disk between two fingers before throwing it away.

While I didn't notice it, the Z-Fighters did. When I flared my aura, my aura flames were black with a sort of white undertone something they hadn't ever seen before.

[AN: Think like the cover]

"That was amazing, I've never seen anyone catch my Destructo Disk before. You've gotten even stronger since we first met. It's amazing how powerful you've become in such a short time." Krillin exclaimed.

"He's right, and what was with that black/white aura?" Yamcha asked.

"Black/white aura? What do you mean?" I asked.

"You mean you don't know? How can you not know the color of your own aura?" Krillin asked.

I didn't have an answer for that, from my memories on Planet Vegeta, my aura was a normal white aura that most people have in the DBZ universe except for a few and not counting transformations.

"Maybe it's because I got more powerful." I suggested.

Krillin and Co. didn't seem to really care that much.

"Whatever the reason it looked cool." Yamcha said as he clapped me on the shoulder.

"That attack just then, you gotta teach me it, it's extremely powerful." I exclaimed to Krillin.

This was true, the technique was similar to my Ki Lightning, it gets stronger the more Ki you put into it which increases the stronger you get.

"Sure, but let's see one of your techniques." Krillin replied expectantly to which Yamcha and Chaotzu shared his enthusiasm.

"I don't see why not." I said as I prepared to show them my Ki weapon creation technique.

"I don't have a specific name for the overarching technique, but its subsequent skills have names. For instance, I call this a Ki Sword." I explained as I created a longsword made of blue colored Ki as my Ki was blue instead of pink like Goku Black which some in my last life said was due to the kind of being he was God/Saiyan and him using God Ki.

I twirled the sword around and slashed outwards creating a Ki slash that flew until one of the pillars and dissipated on impact.

The Z-Fighters were mesmerized, they'd never seen someone make Ki into something tangible.

"That's amazing!" Tien said as this was enough to shock even him who was normally stoic like Piccolo.

Kami who'd been watching the training was shocked as well. He'd never seen a mortal with such control over their Ki.

'This new Saiyan is certainly someone to watch in the future.'

The Z-Fighters kept asking me to teach them how to do it despite my explaining that they are too weak to do it.

Technically speaking, Krillin could be a contender in learning the skill as he created the Destructo Disk, but the two skills are simultaneously similar and entirely different from one another.

(A Week Later)

Throughout the week, I learned many different Ki techniques from Krillin, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Yamcha didn't really have any unique skills or techniques so he didn't share any with me.

I learned the Multiform Technique and the Tribeam from Tien. I learned the two handed and one-handed version of the Tribeam. Although the one-handed version uses your life force to augment it which is what killed Tien in his confrontation with Nappa in the anime.

I learned the Destructo Disk and Solar Flare from Krillin and learned telekinesis from Chiaotzu. All in all, it was a very productive week and I am plenty satisfied.

Despite being on the Lookout, I had no plans to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber until I unlocked my Super Saiyan transformation.

The reason for this is that I will be spending the two years training to master up to Super Saiyan II. I don't know if I'd have time to do more than that.

I flew back to Capsule Corp and met with Bulma.

"I assume you've made all the changes you needed for the chamber?" I asked.

"Yes, we finished yesterday and spent most of today doing last-minute checks. I didn't tell you yesterday because I figured you'd spend all your free time training and arrive here right after a week." Bulma explained.

To which I simply nodded.

"It seems Saiyans are very much cut from the same cloth." Bulma added sardonically.

"It's not surprising, we Saiyans are a warrior race and we live to fight and grow stronger it's just that some of us are more prudent than others." I replied.

Bulma raised her brow at that but decided to ignore it and waved me off as she went inside.

Once inside the ship I activated the gravity chamber and set it to 220 as I was able to withstand 200 with the power I had in my Max form which is now the same power level as my Base form after my Zenkai.

Instantly I felt the strain, but I had it all planned out, I would raise the gravity by 20 levels every day for 26 days leaving the last two days for one final Zenkai and recovery.

By the end of my training, I would have been training under 720 times gravity which is over 200 more than the original max for the chamber of 500 that Vegeta trained under.

Honestly, I believe Gravity training is the absolute best way to train your base form for a Saiyan outside of a Zenkai.

I then decided to try something, I had no idea if it'd work as both the techniques are temporary.

I used Max to get the 3× boost and I was sitting at 450,000 as my power level and the gravitational pressure lessened to practically nothing.

Then while in this form, I tried something that I wasn't sure would work, but the principle was sound and I had 19 senzu beans if I made a mistake.

I activated the Multiform Technique while in my Max form and I was glad to discover that it worked just as I wanted.

Four clones of me in my Max form were standing around me, each sitting at a power level of 112,000.

This is great news as this kills three birds with one stone.

Max form drains stamina and gravity training increases strength and stamina creating a loop of constant pressure and growth.

Multiform requires concentration which can now be trained due to the pressure of the gravity training.

And I can utilize my clones as sparing partners and the lowering of my power to a fourth of my strength helps in the overall gravity training as well.

So more like 4 birds, one stone.

I know that this is an extremely destructive way of training as I am putting my body through so much, but I only have a short time to become strong enough to beat Frieza at full power and I don't know if I can rely on becoming a Super Saiyan.

Also with Senzu beans, any damage I do to my body can be recovered instantly, and if things get bad enough, boom, Zenkai. It's a win-win-win.

I trained in this way for over 18 hours until my Max form drained me too much to keep it.

I dropped to the floor due to the pressure now hitting me at a power level of only 37,500 due to not being in Max form and my power still being divided between the clones.

The pressure in this form was even worse than it was when I first experienced it with the malfunction because not only is the gravity 20 levels higher, but my power level is almost 20,000 less due to the Multiform Technique.

But I persevered and started to do push-ups. My body was wracked with pain from the pressure pushing down on me, but I had a degree of assurance due to the bag of Senzu beans in front of me.

It was very hard as I was drained of stamina from the Max form and training at a lot lower power level than normal, but if I can't even handle this, then how can I even hope to be strong enough?

I kept up this training for the next 6 hours not able to get up off the floor so all the exercises I did were from the ground.

I finally was ready to stop, but I couldn't get up so I used my newly learnt telekinesis skill to press the off button on the console and I instantly felt relieved.

I collapsed heavily onto the floor and passed out before I could even do anything.

(6 hours later)

I groaned in pain as I got up after having slept for 6 hours if the digital wall clock was any indication.

But it was at this moment that I realized, if I wanted to get the most out of this new training regimen I had to use a Senzu bean to recover so I could get right back into training.

I also should not train for a full day with the new regimen again as it would just be a waste.

Stopping my thoughts I popped a senzu bean into my mouth and after a few moments.

*exhale*

I took a deep breath and I felt amazing. A quick look at my power level had me giddy.

In just one day of intensive grueling training, I had gone from 150,000 to 250,000 almost an increase of double.

This is great, I believe I am making faster improvement than Goku because of my knowledge of Zenkai. Vegeta probably knew about it which is why he pushed himself so hard.

I am pushing myself even harder than Vegeta.

I will be lowering the time I do my intensive work out to half a day and then spend the next 6 hours upping the gravity very slightly for training with my full power as that has its own benefits and would work as a sort of cool down from the intense pressure I was putting my body under. Then I'd spend the last 6 hours resting.

The main reason for the time change is that I'd waste too much time recovering from my training to make any meaningful impact.

Even though the Senzu bean contained enough nutrients and energy to make up ten meals, most of those nutrients went to recovering, so I will be making some food and then I'll get back into training.

I had some of the food that Bulma packed and then went back into the room to start putting in the work.
