In a abandoned warehouse a Portal opened, which out of it a young boy fell on a pile of boxes.
The landing was anything but soft, making the boy hiss from pain "this cant get any worse than this."
And oh boy how wrong he was.
Due to his fall, the other boxes around the place he fell also shook and dropped on top of him.
"I take it back, it definitely can get worser." He muttered in regret and annoyance, noting to himself to avoid raising red flags again.
After a few minutes of throwing boxes around and fighting for his life, the boy finally got out of the pile of the boxes.
"Finally out of that shithole."
He was a fair-skinned young man, Quite tall for his age with lilac eyes, white hair that spikes backwards at the sides, with purple-blue highlights, resembling that of Declan Akaba.
His outfits Consistied of a pink v-neck shirt underneath a light-grey suit jacket, with black trousers that end above his ankles.
"System give me a summery of my situation."

Ryoken released a sigh of relief "Atleast I didn't fall in the worse place which is inside of academy, literally being near that bald genocide would have been the worst start. Anyways system show me the messages."

"Oh so its the same starting decks as master duel game, well it was expected due to the name of system itself."
Lets check each option, the third one is definitely a no go, I'm sure there is no technology that can support Link Monsters in this Dimension or others And even if it was, it would be a wrong choice as it will also make others stronger and that can make a big change to canon. Not that I'm afraid of changing the stroyline, I eventually have to do it at some point. But still it has more downside then its worth for. And if I want link monsters I can probably get them in future.
Now this leaves me with two options.
Going for the Dragon one gives me two copies of Blue-eyes white dragon which itself is a big Win. It also has many fusion based cards so it would be better for this dimension till I get a decent deck be ready.
All of that are all just logical reasons, uf we go by heart, then definitely I'm picking this one. Summoning Blue-eyes white dragon and seeing it in action is a wet dream of every Yu-Gi-Oh fan.
(A/N: Sure as hell it's kaiba's wet dream too.)
The synchro one is good too but it will also put a big target on my back as it uses Synchro summoning method which is almost unknown to most people in this dimension.
By picking it I'm basically telling the egghead that I'm here to wreck havoc and shit on you, fun but not worth it for now.
I clicked on the power of dragon, and the system showed its cards to me.

[1. Duel Room: Allows the user to have friendly duels against Artificial intelligence generated opponents. Also if the user Duels a person in real life, the data from them will be saved and they will have a copy made in the room so the user can duel against them and practice there.]
(A/N: Kaiba would have loved this, imagine how many times he could have dueled against Atem in the duel room.)
[2. Store: The user Can buy packs and other items by using Gems and DP.]
[3. Giftbox/Mailbox: a place that all messages are stored, plus gifts and rewards from completing missions given by the system.]
[4. Deck: Master can create different decks in here, plus all the cards you own will be shown here. Same as the master duel game, you can create cards by using UR/SR/R/N Points.]
[5. Missions: Contains a list of missions and thresholds that by completing them user will get rewarded.]
[6.Map: as the name suggests, it's literally a map of the world you currently are. You wouldn't get lost with the help of this map, unlike a certain green haired swordsman.]
First lets get the gifts from both the system and Old man. I then clicked on the Mailbox option.

Damn, Old man is really favouring me too much, would have thought he's diddy's bro if I didn't know him.
I clicked on the claim button and got all the items and rewards that were mentioned.
since I claimed the rewards, let's see what we have in store.
[In store, there will be 5 different sections of packs. The first section that has Master Duel packs which contains all the archetypes that are made till the latest updates in your previous world.]
[The second section is where you can only get access to if you create a UR card from a certain Archetype or get it from a pack. By creating the card you will get access to a New pack that contains cards from the selected Archetype. The probability of getting cards from the mentioned archetype is increased.]
(A/N: Basically rate up banner in gacha games.)
[The third section is Limited time offers which will randomly pop up once per year on a random day. So always be on the look out for these events that will surely be fruitful for you.]
[The Forth Part contains packs that you either get as reward from missions or as a gift.]
[Lastly there is a Part in the store that uses DP as its currency and you can buy different items like food, clothes, ect.]

Going by what the system said, I wouldn't have to worry about food or any other daily necessities as long as I can get Duel points.
Now let's see, if I'm not wrong then the gift packs should be in the fourth section. I tapped on it and it did exactly show the packs I own.

(A/N: To make this more challenging for myself in writing and more fun for others, I literally used a pack simulator and got these. So if Mc gets any good cards its really based on my luck no plot armour, if we exclude the cards that he can create.)

24 cards, 1UR,3SR and 4R. Not bad, I take that as a win. I haven't used Lavalval Archetype tho so I don't know if I can use it well. Since it's a synchro card, might as well dismantle it and get some UR points in return.
Evil twin archetypes is good for link summoning, and yeah since there's no such thing as link monsters in this era, it is just a waste. For now that is.
Ghostrick archetype is fun too, I can see myself using it to pull a few interesting combos.
Now onto the next pack. I first opened the welcome pack and then the one that gives a Random UR card.

That's where my beginner's luck ends. This is why I hate gacha. They give you hope, only to take it away just a second later.
Most of these cards are good for synchro summoning, especially formula synchron. brings back good memories. For now I'll hold on to some of them.

Now let's get onto deck building.
I proceeded to hit a few buttons to get back to the menu and then to the Deck section. I then chose the Power of Dragon structure deck as base and began to edit it.
Currently I have 10 UR point and 140 SR points. So I can at least make 4 cards from SR rarity. A few support cards for Blue-eyes should be a good choice. I also can dismantle some Cards from R&N Rarity in case I need it.
After a few minutes I Decided on which cards I needed to create to make my deck better.

For now I decided to add a few cards from the Dragon maid archetype to the deck, why? because they match well with blue-eyes.

Now let's create the deck. After a few minutes I finished editing the deck and it was ready to go.

In total 42 Cards Main deck, 6 Cards Extra Deck. Not bad for a starter deck. Definitely a good deck based on the strength of people in this era, but if it was in master duel matchmaking, I'd be cooked well done by my opponents.
"Umm, how do I get to use the deck?"
As the words left my mouth, I saw blue particles gathering in front of me which turned into cards and all of them went into a little Box with Red colour.
Is this the art of card printing? if yes then I'll gladly accept it.
I picked up the Deck holder and opened it, all the cards that I had put into the deck were in it.
"I see, so it can turn cards from holograms to physical cards."
Now I just need a Duel disk. "Where can I get a Duel Disk?"
[Answer: its available in store with the price of 5000 DP, Do you want to buy it?]
"I don't know if 5k DP is a high price for it or not but I definitely need it so yes get me one."
Duel disk is a vital equipment for a duelist. Like how are you supposed to duel without it, sit on the ground and use a game mat?
Sure buddy try having fun with that.

Then a White Duel Disk Appeared which I caught and Connected it to my hand. It looked similar to duel disks used in the duel academy in GX.
"Nice, one of my dreams as a yugioh fan has been fulfilled."
Now since I'm geared up, might as well start exploring the area and getting familiar with it.
I went out of the warehouse to get a better view of the place I'm at. What I saw was different From what I expected.
Everything is pretty Normal, Buildings, people, Plants everything. No sign of gloomy atmosphere and the Chaos that was going to happen In this dimension.
Well it is expected as I'm a few years here before the start of canon. At least I'm quite safe here even during the Dimension war.
"System, mark this warehouse on the map if you can. it could be a useful and safe base for now."

After that I began to wander around while also being careful to not act suspicious.
After walking around by myself for a short time, I Found a park where a few people, mostly from the younger generation were Dueling in it.
"Can't believe these are the same people that turned into Lunatic soldiers that turn Humans into cards."
They all had smiles on their faces and enjoyed Dueling, not aware of what is meta. Well it's my responsibility to share the joy of dueling with them, in future that is.
For now I just need to get a few opponents and stack up some DP.
As I was watching them Duel, a person called out to me.
"Wanna Duel with me?"
Bruh, what's with that type of npc like acting? This is yugioh not Pokemon that every person that sees you in games wants to fight with you. But I guess trying the deck won't be a bad idea.
I turned around and saw a boy who was probably 14 or 15, with typical Extra character looks. Black hair brown eyes and other things which I don't care about. Let's just get this started.
