Everything was chaos now, the perfect kind of chaos.
The blind zone was collapsing around us in layers, reality tearing apart one corridor at a time while the breach team forced their way deeper into the structure. Emergency lights flashed violently overhead, staining the shifting walls crimson while psychic interference screamed through comms like static trapped inside a nightmare.
"The left corridor is unstable!" Max barked through the headset.
"Too late," one operative snapped back.
Then the hallway folded inward behind them with a violent metallic crunch.
The sound echoed through the structure like a dying animal.
Psychic combat inside a blind zone felt wrong in every possible way. Space refused to behave naturally here. Distance stretched and compressed without warning. Doors appeared where walls used to be. Entire staircases twisted into impossible angles if you looked away too long.
Like fighting inside a dream that wanted you dead.
