Chapter 142 - Chapter 141: My First Kiss! I Can Sell My Body!

Song Jie leaned forward, and Ai Tutu instinctively leaned back.

"What do I want to do? I remember someone still owes me a kiss," Song Jie said with a teasing smile.

"Didn't I already kiss you before?!" Ai Tutu retorted righteously.

"But before that, we had a bet," Song Jie replied, smiling knowingly.

At that moment, Ai Tutu's arrogance deflated like a punctured balloon.

She suddenly remembered the bet Song Jie made—he had wanted Sister Mu to kiss him afterward!

But... how could Sister Mu possibly kiss him?!

"What? Trying to back out of our deal?" Song Jie looked down at her with a smirk.

"I am not!" Ai Tutu replied stiffly, but her confidence quickly faltered.

Song Jie narrowed his eyes. Trying to play the seduction card with him? He wasn't afraid of that!

He looked at her nervous expression and continued, "Then let's begin."

"Here? You want me to kiss you here?!" Ai Tutu panicked instantly. What if Sister Mu saw them?!

Song Jie chuckled. "You kissed me last time, and now you're scared?"

Ai Tutu's pretty face flushed a deep red. Why had she kissed him before?!

But then again… since she'd already done it once, what difference would another kiss make?

"I, Ai Tutu, am a woman of my word! Fine, stick out your face!" she said, straightening her posture in defiance.

However, right at that moment, her bathrobe slipped slightly off her shoulders, revealing a glimpse of her smooth skin.

"Ah!!" Ai Tutu squealed, hurriedly pulling her bathrobe back up.

She had intentionally loosened it a bit earlier—but didn't expect it to slip that much!

Song Jie inhaled sharply. Was this… the legendary "giant"?

"What are you looking at?!" Ai Tutu snapped, glaring fiercely.

"You can look at me, and I can't look at you?" Song Jie countered calmly, leaving her speechless.

"You…!" Ai Tutu pointed at him, fuming but helpless.

Song Jie smiled. "You looked at me, I looked at you. We're even."

"Is that the same thing?!"

"What's different? I have what you have—just not as big."

Ai Tutu froze. It sounded like a compliment… but somehow it didn't feel right.

"No! You clearly took advantage of me!"

"Are you going to kiss me or not? If not, I'll do it myself," Song Jie said casually.

"Ahhh! Song Jie, I'm going to fight you!" Ai Tutu yelled, lunging at him.

But Song Jie was quick. He dodged, and Ai Tutu missed, tumbling straight into his arms.

When he looked up, he was met by a breathtaking sight—her cleavage right in front of his eyes!

"Song Jie, what are you staring at?!"

"You let me look."

"When did I let you look?!"

Ai Tutu lay on top of him, reaching out to scratch his face.

Song Jie dodged again, caught both her hands—and suddenly kissed her.

Ai Tutu's beautiful eyes widened in shock. She hadn't expected him to actually kiss her lips!

"Mmm—!!"

For a brief moment, Ai Tutu felt like she was in one of those drama scenes where the heroine gets forcibly kissed by the male lead.

Her heart fluttered uncontrollably, her cheeks turning crimson.

But then she quickly snapped out of it—she'd only promised one kiss!

Seeing her stir, Song Jie released her soft lips and quickly stood up, heading toward the bedroom.

As he walked away, he waved lazily and said, "We're even now."

By the time Ai Tutu realized what had happened, Song Jie had already disappeared into the room.

"Ahhh!!!" Ai Tutu covered her lips, her face burning red.

That was her first kiss—and she had just given it away like that!

She snatched a pillow from the sofa and punched it furiously.

"Song Jie! I'll never forgive you!"

Winter break arrived.

Students from both the Pearl Institute Main Campus and the Qing Campus were free from classes.

Most chose to cultivate at home, spending the rest of their time relaxing or having fun.

Only a few brave students went out for field training—it was still too dangerous for most.

Since the "kiss incident," Ai Tutu had been avoiding Song Jie completely.

Mu Nujiao, meanwhile, had gone into closed-door cultivation.

So, Song Jie could only train by himself.

He spent most of his time cultivating his Summoning Element, which was now close to reaching a critical breakthrough.

However, he still couldn't gather enough money to buy the Galaxy Vein.

He even asked Mu Tingying for help, but she couldn't come up with the funds—and jokingly told him to spank her instead.

Song Jie already knew Mu Tingying's strange little hobbies, so of course, he refused.

"I still have to find another way to make money," Song Jie muttered helplessly.

Time flew by, and three months quietly passed.

During that time, Song Jie gained three more opportunities to evolve his magic skills.

[Radiance – Penetration → Radiance – Penetration Enhanced → Radiance – Penetration Coverage → Radiance – Penetration Light (New)]

This new ability could pierce through Armor Magic Tools, Shield Magic Tools, and other defensive magic barriers—though it was limited to those below the Advanced Level.

[Light Protection – Painting Wall → Light Protection – Painting Wall Collision → Light Protection – Painting Wall Enhanced (New)]

This evolution increased both the defensive range and durability of his Painting Wall ability.

[Light Blessing – Guardian → Light Blessing – Imprisonment Guardian → Light Blessing – Great Guardian → Light Blessing – Mental Guardian (New)]

Unlike the Mental Holy Shield, which only protected the caster, the Mental Guardian expanded the shield's area to defend multiple allies at once.

Song Jie reviewed his new abilities carefully, then set his phone down—only for it to start ringing.

He took it out and saw Tang Yue's name flashing on the screen.

Answering with a grin, he said, "Teacher Tang Yue, are you calling because you miss me?"

"Can't I call you if I don't miss you?" she teased on the other end.

"Of course I miss you too!"

"Then why haven't you come to see me in so long?"

"I've been busy! Both my elements are now at the third level, and I'm about to break through to the Advanced Level," Song Jie said proudly.

"That fast?" Tang Yue sounded surprised.

"Yup. But I've hit a bottleneck lately—it's that Galaxy Vein again," he sighed.

Tang Yue chuckled. "You little rascal. Don't tell me you're trying to get me to buy it for you?"

"Oh, Teacher Tang Yue, you really do understand me—you're like a worm in my stomach!" Song Jie joked.

Tang Yue laughed lightly. "You'll have to figure that out yourself. I can't help you with that one."

"Then maybe I can sell myself to you instead?" Song Jie teased again.
