Chapter 201 - Chapter 202: The Alley of No Return

"Actually, you don't even know how to get to this place, do you?" Johnson Joffrey said, looking at Kishibe Rohan, "We're going to Kameyu Department Store."

"What for?" Kishibe Rohan was wearing a green shirt, with excellent quality dark green hair and a sporty green headband, but his thin frame clearly indicated he wasn't someone who exercised often.

"To buy fruit," Johnson Joffrey said.

"What kind of fruit do mafia bosses usually eat?" Kishibe Rohan pressed, then narrowed his eyes slightly the moment he saw Johnson Joffrey, saying, "You don't look like you're going to buy fruit."

"Someone who wants to go shopping doesn't have that expression," Kishibe Rohan tilted his head slightly, scrutinizing Johnson Joffrey, and with a beautiful pencil, he sketched and drew, completing a drawing in an instant.

The sketch showed Johnson Joffrey turning to look at Kishibe Rohan, vividly recreating Johnson Joffrey's expression as he was about to head to Kameyu Department Store.

Johnson Joffrey looked at the drawing, then thought about his current predicament; as an Italian, everything he did in Japan was constrained, at least he couldn't directly go to Kira Yoshikage's door.

The reason he came out with Kishibe Rohan was to trigger the plot of the Alley That Can't Be Turned Back From, and through the matter of the ghost girl, to further delve into the Kira Yoshikage incident. Going directly to fight Kira Yoshikage was too dangerous; his strength was hard to gauge. Johnson's plan was that it would be best if everyone went to kill Kira Yoshikage together, and he would then seize the opportunity to take the arrow.

But he had been wandering with Kishibe Rohan for over half an hour, and this guy's attention was never on the Alley That Can't Be Turned Back From.

Instead, he was focused on Johnson Joffrey, constantly asking about the Italian mafia.

"Oh, I really want to meet Bucciarati. Honestly, through my analysis of his behavior, I think he's very suitable to be the protagonist of a shonen manga," Kishibe Rohan curled his index finger to his chin, thinking carefully.

"There are some samurai dojos here, some villas that have been passed down since the Jomon period. Let's go see them," Johnson said. "Anyway, let's do something related to Kira Yoshikage. I really don't want to waste time with you, Kishibe Rohan."

"Honestly, I saw what Mista said about you, and I really admire you. I think we can get along, it's just that you don't understand me very well yet..."

No, I understand you very well. I used to like you a lot when I watched the anime, but now, you're really annoying.

"Kishibe Rohan, you're really a nag."

Kishibe Rohan seemed not to hear Johnson Joffrey speaking, and instead continued talking to himself.

Johnson Joffrey looked around, his gaze falling on a map, and he pulled him, saying, "I just glanced at the map, and then look here—"

"The actual situation is different from the map in your hand."

"Look, 'Arisugawa Noodle Shop', 'Kisaragi Pharmacy', 'Owson Convenience Store', the stores are arranged from right to left like that, right?"

"Now look at your actual situation."

Kishibe Rohan looked up, then saw 'Arisugawa Noodle Shop', 'Kisaragi Pharmacy'... uh... there was an extra alleyway?

"You..." Kishibe Rohan looked at Johnson Joffrey, thought for a moment, and didn't say what Johnson wanted to hear.

Instead... "You memorized the map after just one look?" Kishibe Rohan asked, somewhat surprised.

Johnson Joffrey frowned, then saw him continue, "A good memory cannot be a setting for a shonen manga protagonist, but it can be a setting for a supporting character."

"..."

What Johnson Joffrey wanted him to talk about was the extra alleyway, but he didn't mention it at all, instead talking about drawing shonen manga.

However, Kishibe Rohan didn't proactively tell him about the Alley That Can't Be Turned Back From as he had expected, because that time he was looking for his childhood memories, whereas this time he just wanted an excuse to ask about manga material.

Johnson Joffrey ignored him and walked straight into the alley. Although he wasted a lot of time, he still found this alley.

"Hey, Johnson Joffrey!" Kishibe Rohan watched him walk directly into the alley, frowning, "Seriously, he's even more willful than I, Kishibe Rohan."

Then he also walked into the alley with him.

After entering the alley and taking just one turn, before walking two or three steps, Johnson Joffrey suddenly stopped. Kishibe Rohan, preoccupied with his map, walked a few steps forward, then suddenly stopped and looked back to see that Johnson Joffrey hadn't moved forward at all. He then said, somewhat angrily:

"Johnson Joffrey, are you messing with I, Kishibe Rohan?"

Johnson Joffrey took a few steps backward, returning to the previous corner. Kishibe Rohan, remembering that he needed to gather material about him for his manga, reluctantly followed him, only to see a surprising sight—

"The intersection we just passed is gone," Kishibe Rohan said with a frown, "We only took one turn."

Why... Kishibe Rohan walked a few steps forward and found a pile of dog poop next to the mailbox, and the vending machine on the roadside had no power.

"When I had my back to the alley entrance just now, I could still hear the sound of cars, but after just one turn, I couldn't hear it at all here, so I turned back to look."

The alley entrance we walked in through is no longer there.

Kishibe Rohan called out to Johnson. Johnson sighed and began to constantly move through the middle of the alley. After a while, he realized that he couldn't get out of the alley at all.

"Do you have any impression of this place, Kishibe Rohan?"

"I lived here before I was four years old; how could I possibly remember anything?" Kishibe Rohan said, somewhat helplessly.

Johnson Joffrey squatted down, placed his hand on the ground, and then said, "We've only walked for a few minutes, but there's absolutely no sound of cars."

"I think we've entered a space," Johnson Joffrey said.

"It seems no one has lived here for a long time."

"Indeed!" A little girl's voice came from behind, startling Kishibe Rohan.

"Who are you?!"

It was a short-haired little girl, looking about ten years old, wearing a somewhat unfashionable but very pretty pink short dress and with pink short hair. She was a very beautiful and rare type of girl—

"You're lost, aren't you? It's okay, I'll lead the way for you. Many people get lost in this place," the girl said with a smile, looking very enthusiastic.

"Heaven's Door!"
