"Otenjin… it truly is a power worthy of the gods!"
Sarada's voice echoed across the lake.
"Susanoo Armor — Six Sword Dance!"
"Boruto, be careful!" she shouted.
As her words fell, the six red longswords floating behind her began to spin rapidly, glowing with energy as if they had come alive.
"You're incredible, Sarada!"
Boruto looked up — she was like a crimson Valkyrie descending from the heavens, fierce and radiant.
Hearing his praise, Sarada smirked.
"I won't go easy on you."
A long crimson spear condensed in her hand. With a flap of her chakra wings, she turned into a streak of red light, diving straight toward Boruto.
Reacting instantly, Boruto flipped backward, narrowly dodging the thrust.
Sarada's spear struck the surface of the lake, sending waves crashing outward in every direction.
Without missing a beat, she waved her hand, and the six longswords behind her shot forward as streaks of scarlet light.
Seeing this, Boruto conjured a silver spear in his hand and swung it with precision, intercepting each flying sword.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The sounds of metal colliding echoed across the lake, each impact sending ripples across the water.
Sarada's attack missed. She beat her wings again, charging toward Boruto like an arrow loosed from a bowstring.
Boruto adjusted his stance and swung his silver spear, meeting her crimson spear head-on.
Each clash resounded like thunder — steel, chakra, and waves merging into one explosive rhythm.
"As expected of my granddaughter," Fugaku said from afar, pride gleaming in his eyes. "To possess such strength at her age…"
He turned toward Madara, who gave a faint nod of approval.
"Still," Shisui murmured, frowning slightly, "is it wise for Sarada to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan so young? Overusing it can lead to blindness… even death."
Madara smiled faintly, unconcerned. "It doesn't matter. This—"
Before he could finish, he was interrupted by Menma — Boruto's Shadow Clone.
"Let's go," Menma said calmly. "Let's test their mettle."
He began walking toward the lake, and the others followed.
Above the lake, Sarada, still mid-battle, suddenly froze.
A slow clap echoed from the distance, followed by the approach of several masked figures emerging from the mist.
They wore fox demon masks, each exuding an aura of danger and mystery.
"As expected of Uzumaki Naruto's son and Uchiha Sasuke's daughter," said the leader — a man in a gray linen cloak wearing a three-eyed fox mask.
"It's you…"
Sarada's heart tightened. "Father?"
"Father?" Boruto blinked in confusion.
Is she mistaking my Menma clone for Sasuke? he thought.
"Sarada, is that Uncle Sasuke?" Boruto asked.
"I… I'm not sure," she admitted, her brow furrowing.
"My name is Uchiha Menma," the masked man said calmly.
"Not Father?" Sarada's expression faltered. "Then the illusion from before… it wasn't Father's doing?"
A pang of guilt flashed through her heart. Did I misunderstand him all this time?
"Uchiha? Are you clones — like Uchiha Shin?" she asked coldly, her eyes narrowing.
"What do you want? My eyes?!" Her voice dripped with defiance.
"How did he even find me?" she thought to herself. Did he leave a tracking mark on me the last time?
Outwardly, her expression remained composed.
"I'm not interested in your eyes… not yet," Menma said playfully, spreading his hands.
"But the eyes of the one beside you — those, I'm very curious about."
"You bastard!" Sarada's tone sharpened. "You're after Boruto's eyes!"
"Who knows?" Menma chuckled. "Let's see how strong you really are first."
He motioned with his hand. Madara, Shisui, Fugaku, and Itachi stepped forward, their Mangekyō Sharingan flaring beneath their masks — each radiating bloody red light.
Sarada gasped. "What… all of them have Mangekyō Sharingan?!"
Her right Mangekyō began to spin violently, crimson tears streaming from her eye as it replicated the powers of Madara, Fugaku, and Shisui all at once.
The pain was excruciating — like her eye was being ripped apart from within — but she gritted her teeth and endured, glaring at Menma's group without retreating.
"Sarada!" Boruto shouted, rushing toward her, but she stopped him with a wave of her hand.
"I'm fine, Boruto," she said, her voice steady despite the agony.
At that moment, Menma drew a strange black, double-edged trident blade — a weapon with three sharp points radiating dark energy.
With a single casual swing, he sliced through the air — and a monstrous wave erupted across the distant lake.
"So strong… that was casual?" Sarada thought, a chill running down her spine.
Around them, Madara and the others unleashed their chakra.
In an instant, four massive, half-bodied Perfect Susanoo appeared — one blue, one green, one black, and one orange.
The four giants towered over the lake, their chakra flaring so intensely that the air itself trembled.
"Four… Susanoo?" Sarada whispered, disbelief in her eyes.
"Boruto, we're no match for them. We have to leave!" she said, preparing to use her teleportation technique.
"Leave? Did you ask me first?"
Menma vanished from sight — then reappeared in front of them in an instant, his black trident slashing straight toward Boruto.
"So fast!" Sarada thought, her heart pounding.
Boruto barely had time to react. He swung his silver spear to block the attack, but the force behind the strike was overwhelming.
He was thrown backward, sliding across the lake's surface and leaving a deep gash of water in his wake.
"Boruto!" Sarada cried out, panic breaking through her composure.
