Chapter 107 - Chapter 106: Susanoo Armor

The next morning, Boruto and Sarada arrived at a spacious training ground in Konohagakure.

Lately, the two had lost much of their interest in the usual ninja missions. Most were trivial errands — like finding lost pets or retrieving misplaced scrolls.

Whenever they encountered these dull missions, Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki would just send out Shadow Clones to accompany Konohamaru and handle the jobs.

Of course, they didn't always rely on clones. When missions required leaving the village, Boruto and Sarada would still go — treating them as mini outings.

"Sarada, it feels like we haven't sparred in a while," Boruto said.

"That's right, Boruto. Now that I've awakened my Mangekyō Sharingan, this is the perfect chance to see just how big the gap between our strengths really is," Sarada replied, smirking.

"Not much difference," Boruto said confidently. "Just a little bit."

"'Just a little bit' again? Fine, this time I'll believe you," Sarada said, grinning.

Though she'd never seen Boruto fight seriously, her newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan and its powerful eye techniques gave her the confidence to believe she could finally stand on equal ground with him.

"Within Konoha, I always feel like I can't unleash my full power," Sarada said. "Boruto, let's go outside the village."

She grabbed his hand, activated her Mangekyō Sharingan, and used Heavenly Spin.

A swirl of distorted space enveloped them — and in an instant, their figures vanished from the training ground.

When they reappeared, they were standing atop a tranquil lake in the Land of Fire.

The water shimmered under the morning sun, and the distant mountains were veiled in soft mist.

"This is the Final Valley," Boruto thought, glancing around. "Didn't expect you to know this place, Sarada."

"This is the lake above the Final Valley, Boruto," she replied. "Mom told me that Uncle Naruto and my father fought here many times."

"Yeah," Boruto nodded. "There were plenty of legendary battles here."

"Then let's start, Boruto."

Before her words even finished, Sarada launched the first attack.

Seeing her move, Boruto activated his Tenseigan, and the two clashed fiercely in close combat.

Empowered by her Mangekyō Sharingan, Sarada's Taijutsu had improved tremendously — her speed, strength, and precision were sharper than ever.

But Boruto, with the insight of the Tenseigan, could predict her movements in advance.

Their attacks and counters were lightning-fast, each collision sending sprays of water bursting upward from the lake's surface.

It was an even match — every exchange created waves that rippled across the water.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Dragon Technique!"

Sarada shifted tactics, forming hand seals in rapid succession. A massive fire dragon erupted from her mouth, roaring toward Boruto.

Boruto merely glanced up and unleashed a wave of repulsive force, shattering the dragon instantly.

"You're strong, Boruto," Sarada said, her eyes glowing crimson. "But with my Mangekyō Sharingan, I'm not the same person I used to be!"

Red chakra wings materialized behind her as she took to the sky.

Hovering high above, she extended her hand — and hundreds of red weapons formed in midair, each glowing with the power of Susanoo.

Sarada had now mastered the Otenjin eye technique.

By shrinking the massive weapons of her Susanoo into normal-sized blades, she kept their destructive power while gaining flexibility and precision.

The sky rained red — countless Susanoo weapons hurtled down like a storm of blades toward Boruto.

"That's quite impressive, Sarada," Boruto said with a nod.

With a motion of his hand, nine Reincarnation Beads appeared before him.

They split into hundreds, morphing into glowing weapons that shot upward to meet Sarada's attack.

The weapons clashed in midair, producing dazzling sparks and thunderous explosions.

The lake below churned violently, shrouded in a misty haze from the intense energy radiating from their clash.

Meanwhile, hidden deep in the forest near the lake, Menma — Boruto's Shadow Clone — watched quietly alongside Madara, Fugaku, Itachi, and Shisui.

They observed the battle, astonished by what they saw.

The shockwaves from the midair collisions even rustled the trees around them.

"Is this the lake above the Final Valley?" Madara murmured. "Sasuke's daughter and Naruto's son… sparring here? How poetic. Destiny truly repeats itself."

"Is that… Susanoo?" Fugaku asked, frowning at the crimson wings behind Sarada.

"She's awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan?" he pressed.

"Yes, Father," Itachi confirmed. "Sarada has awakened her Mangekyō."

"When? She only had three tomoe before! How did she awaken it so fast?" Fugaku demanded, bewildered.

"That blonde brat's still alive — so what could've caused her grief enough to awaken the Mangekyō?"

"Maybe that blonde brat did something to her," Fugaku muttered darkly. "Something that broke her heart."

"Father, I don't know the details," Itachi replied, shaking his head.

"Sarada's still young," Shisui said worriedly. "Isn't it too early for her to awaken such power?"

"What's the ability of her Mangekyō Sharingan? Itachi, do you know?" Madara asked.

"Her right eye has the power to copy other Mangekyō Sharingan abilities," Menma answered from the front.

"Copy Mangekyō abilities?" Madara's eyes widened. "No wonder you brought us here. You wanted us to witness their potential."

Back on the lake, the battle raged on.

"Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

Dozens of golden chains burst out from the lake, surging toward Sarada in the sky.

These days, Boruto could manifest the chains directly from chakra — they no longer needed to emerge from his body.

Not to be outdone, Sarada countered. She raised her hand, and over a dozen red chakra chains descended, intertwining with Boruto's.

The air rang with the metallic clanging of chain against chain.

"Boruto, let me show you my ultimate move!"

A surge of blazing red chakra erupted around Sarada.

Her body became enveloped in radiant crimson armor — her Susanoo Armor. Wings flared from her back, and six red longswords floated behind her, radiating heat and power.

She looked like a crimson valkyrie — a goddess of battle descending from the heavens.

"This is…" Boruto murmured, looking up in awe. "Turning Susanoo into armor…?"

"An armored form of Susanoo," Madara said softly from afar. "To compress and refine the Susanoo's power into armor — that's no simple feat. Even I couldn't achieve that in my lifetime…"

He smiled faintly. "So that's the power of her other Mangekyō Sharingan."
