Chapter 82 - Chapter 81: Mikoto Meets Her Granddaughter

"Tobirama! They just reunited with their parents—how could you say something like that?" Hashirama scolded.

"Brother, what did I even say?" Tobirama asked, confused. "I said they had a good son. What's wrong with that?"

Hashirama sighed. "Technically nothing, but it still sounds a bit… awkward."

He shook his head helplessly, then turned to Fugaku and Mikoto with a kind smile. "Please don't mind him. Tobirama's just… blunt."

"Itachi truly is an exceptional child. He's done so much for Konoha."

"Itachi, no matter what choices you've made, you'll always be your father's and my pride," Mikoto said softly, her voice trembling with emotion.

A warmth spread through Itachi's chest. He looked up slowly at Shisui, guilt in his eyes. "Shisui… I'm sorry."

Shisui gave a gentle smile. "It's not your fault, Itachi. If Danzo hadn't taken one of my Mangekyo Sharingan, things might have been different."

At the mention of Danzo, Fugaku's face darkened. "That bastard has always targeted the Uchiha Clan. If he hadn't stopped us from supporting Minato, the Fourth wouldn't have fallen."

"I never thought Danzo would go that far," Shisui said bitterly. "It was my mistake not to see how devious he was—implanting a Sharingan and even using Izanagi."

"Mangekyo Sharingan, huh?" Tobirama muttered as his eyes fixed on Shisui. "This Uchiha boy has it? He looks a lot like Kagami."

He turned to Shisui. "What's your relation to Uchiha Kagami?"

"Uchiha Kagami was my grandfather," Shisui replied.

"Oh, Kagami's grandson? That explains it. You resemble him greatly." Tobirama nodded approvingly. "Like Itachi, you've inherited the Will of Fire. A kind Uchiha."

"Kind Uchiha…?" Shisui repeated, looking puzzled.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya and Minato were speaking quietly nearby.

"Minato, after I died, a Fourth Shinobi World War actually happened? And the mastermind behind it was your own student?" Jiraiya asked in disbelief.

"If Minato hadn't told me it was Obito, I never would've believed it," Kushina said furiously.

"That child wanted to become Hokage, and yet he made Naruto grow up without us. He must have suffered so much. I'll never forgive Obito for that."

Jiraiya sighed. "How's Naruto doing now? Do you know?"

Kushina's expression softened. "Naruto's married now. He has two children—Boruto and Himawari. One's handsome, and the other's absolutely adorable."

"Boruto and Himawari…" Jiraiya smiled warmly. "That's wonderful. Naruto finally has his own little family. He's living the life he always dreamed of."

"Jiraiya-sensei," Minato said proudly, "Naruto is now the Seventh Hokage of Konoha."

Jiraiya froze for a moment, then a deep warmth filled his chest. "Naruto… became Hokage? He really didn't let me down."

He smiled faintly. "Minato, what about Tsunade? How's she doing?"

"Lady Tsunade's still alive and well," Minato replied.

"That's good… that's really good," Jiraiya murmured, his eyes soft with emotion.

In modern-day Konoha, Jiraiya—disguised—walked the busy streets alone, eyes filled with nostalgia and awe.

"So this is the Konoha of today…" he whispered, taking in the sight of bustling shops, glowing signs, and laughing children.

He looked up at the mountain ridge, where seven faces were carved in stone—the Hokage of each generation.

Naruto's smiling face now stood proudly among them.

Jiraiya sat down on a bench, quietly watching villagers pass by.

Then, from across the street, a familiar voice called out, "Grandma, let me help you cross the road!"

Jiraiya turned sharply. His eyes widened as he saw the figure in the distance—a man with golden hair that gleamed in the sunlight, helping an old woman with a warm, familiar smile.

"Naruto…" Jiraiya whispered.

After guiding the old woman across, she patted his shoulder kindly. "Thank you, Hokage-sama."

Naruto smiled. "You're welcome—it's my duty."

At that moment, a hotel's grand opening was happening nearby. The host announced, "Welcome, Hokage-sama, to personally cut the ribbon for our new hotel!"

Applause erupted as Naruto, wearing his Hokage cloak, stepped forward with scissors in hand and smiled for the cameras.

Watching from a distance, Jiraiya's eyes shimmered. Naruto… you've truly become the pride of Konoha.

He chuckled to himself. "Are these all Shadow Clones? Well, knowing him, the real one's probably buried under paperwork back at the office."

He pulled out his notebook and pen, smiling wistfully. "Jiraiya's Tale may be over… but maybe the sequel should be called The Tale of Uzumaki Naruto."

Meanwhile, inside a barbecue restaurant in Konoha, Boruto and Sarada sat by the window, grilling meat together.

Sarada held out a piece with her chopsticks. "Here, Boruto. Try this one."

Boruto leaned in, took a bite, and chewed with a grin. "Damn, this is good. Seriously, amazing."

Outside the restaurant, at a nearby table, three disguised figures—Itachi, Mikoto, and Fugaku—watched through the glass.

"Is that… Sasuke's daughter? My granddaughter?" Mikoto whispered softly.

Itachi smiled gently. "Yes, Mother. That's Sarada."

Mikoto's eyes softened. "She reminds me of Sasuke when he was little—so lively and cute."

But Fugaku's expression soured as he noticed Sarada feeding Boruto. "Why is she feeding that blond brat? What the hell, Itachi?"

Itachi chuckled awkwardly. "That's Boruto Uzumaki—the Seventh Hokage's son. From what I've heard… Sarada's been dating him."

Mikoto's eyes sparkled. "Naruto's son? Kushina's grandson? Oh, he's so handsome!"

Fugaku scowled. "Handsome? Where? Look at him—just sitting there letting her feed him like some lazy prince. And she's dating him already? How old is Sarada? Does Sasuke know about this?"
