Chapter 19 - The Grandmaster's New Thesis and Dai Mubai’s Fall

The success of the Shadow Fusion on Zhu Zhuqing provided Lin Feng with another layer of political and academic cover. He immediately reported back to the Grandmaster, claiming that the "intense training" had allowed them to recruit a prodigy.

The Grandmaster, observing Zhu Zhuqing's sudden, massive leap in power, was now faced with two contradictions: Lin Feng's White Ring Anomaly and Zhu Zhuqing's Speed/Shadow Anomaly. He didn't see flaws; he saw an opportunity for a Unified Thesis.

Lin Feng fed him the perfect concept: "The Fusion of Potential." He suggested that Zhu Zhuqing's progress wasn't magic, but proof that two highly specialized, pure-quality talents (Lin Feng's White Ring and Zhu Zhuqing's Cat) could, when exposed to extreme pressure, trigger a unique, synergistic 'Fusion Potential' that unlocked latent, divine power far beyond the conventional system.

The Grandmaster was thrilled. He immediately began writing his new magnum opus, "The Unified Theory of Fusion Potential," based entirely on the false premise provided by Lin Feng. His obsession was now complete; he was fully dedicated to the Fusion Phoenix's cause, believing he was the academic father of a new epoch.

Lin Feng knew that Dai Mubai and Oscar were currently training in Soto City. He needed to neutralize Dai Mubai quickly to prevent any attempt at reclaiming his fiancée, Zhu Zhuqing.

Lin Feng and his two fiercely protective girls deliberately sought out Dai Mubai at his usual training spot. Dai Mubai, known for his womanizing and arrogance, immediately registered Lin Feng and the two stunningly beautiful girls accompanying him. He approached with predatory intent.

Zhu Zhuqing stepped forward, her aura of newfound power and absolute contempt washing over Dai Mubai. "The engagement is terminated. I choose my own path now, and you are not on it," she declared, her shadow power surging.

Dai Mubai, enraged by the public rejection and the threat of this young boy stealing his fiancée, immediately attacked. Lin Feng didn't even need to use his primary skills. He used the IFS to fuse a tiny piece of Dai Mubai's own soul power with the 'Concept of Exhaustion and Failure' and subtly launched it back at him using his Twin Fusion Barrier (Chapter 15).

The attack was not physical; it was conceptual. Dai Mubai's internal White Tiger Power instantly felt heavy, sluggish, and intensely fatigued, as if he hadn't slept for a month. His strike faltered, his body shaking with profound weakness. He was utterly humiliated in front of his intended fiancée, the rival boy, and his companions.

Lin Feng simply stood there, a Level 23 Spirit Grandmaster with three disguised White Rings, looking down on the Level 28 Spirit Elder Dai Mubai, whose power was suddenly unreliable and weak. Dai Mubai was forced to retreat, his spirit broken and his body secretly suffering from a chronic, mysterious fatigue caused by Lin Feng's conceptual fusion.
