Ian was on the way to Gordon's shop. His dagger should be ready by now. Arrow sat on his shoulder with hus eyes closed, meditating. Ian had taught it to help with mana control.
The city was bustling, workers coming to and from the western district. Gordon's shop was quite close to the destroyed area. The closer Ian got to his destination the busier the street became.
Eventually Ian made it to the shop, at the front he was greeted by the same girl as before.
"Hi miss, I'm here for my dagger. Could you let Gordon know I'm here?"
She turned to him with a straight face before speaking.
"Hello, sure I'll go get him. Give me a minute."
Ian scratched his face with a slight smile while thinking to himself.
'She doesn't like me at all.'
Soon enough she came back from the workshop area.
"You can go ahead. He's waiting for you."
Ian didn't waste a second and began heading back there. He turned back to say thank you and headed straight into Gordon's smithy.
Inside he was greeted by Gordon sitting at his side table. In front of him was a sheathed dagger. It's hilt was white but wrapped in a sturdy black leather at the handle.
"Hey Gordon, how's it going?"
Ian approached the table and sat next to Gordon. The dwarf turned to him with a smile.
"It's goin. The attack interrupted my work but it turned out fine. I heard ya played a role in solvin the whole situation."
"Yeah I did. It was a good battle, I enjoyed myself and got some cool rewards."
Ian flashed a smile and showed off his brand new bow. Gordon inspected the weapon closely, he was a craftsman after all. A fine artifact was to be appreciated.
"Hahaha! Ya got somethin good indeed! This bow is great."
Ian turned to the dagger on the table.
"Speaking of great equipement. Is that the dagger I commissioned from you?"
The dwarf smiled and lifted the dagger.
"Ya bet! Take a look."
He handed Ian the dagger without hesitation. Ian took it and unsheathed a bone white blade with silver edges. It had some inscriptions on its flat side that shone in a suble white light.
Ian turned to the dwarf with an amazed expression.
"What can it do? Any special effects here?"
"Any special effects? Who are ya talkin to? Of course it's got special effects Ian!"
The dwarf had a boastful expression on his face. His pride as a master blacksmith showed in his extreme confidence.
Without waiting for an explanation from the dwarf, Ian just looked at the game's description for the dagger. His eyes widened a bit seeing its effects.

A huge smile emerged on Ian's face after reading through the description. He looked at the dagger one more time before sheathing it and strapping it to holster, on his thigh.
Ian turned to Gordon with a satisfied expression.
"So how much do I owe you?"
Gordon turned to him with a smile.
"Since ya saved the city I'll do a special discount fer ya. Just give me 100 gold and the dagger is yers."
Ian's smile grew even bigger than it was before. He looked at Gordon with gratitude and handed him the money.
"What a deal! Thanks Gordon. By the way, do you know a good place I can get some new armor? Mine is a but outdated now."
The dwarf had a contemplative expression on his face af he pondered Ian's question.
"I do know a couple armorers in the city. Though they're not masters like me. Tell Isabelle I said to give ya a list of the armorers around the city."
Ian got up and began preparing to leave as he spoke. Before leaving he turned to Gordon.
"Thanks I appreciate all the help so far. I'll come back and repay you another time."
Ian left the smithy and headed back to the front of house. There the human girl, Isabelle, sat with a bored expression. Most people were preoccupied with reconstruction efforts so not a lot of customers had come in.
"Hey Isabelle, Gordon told me to ask you for a list of armorers in the city. Can you help me out?"
She turned to him with a somewhat annoyed face.
"Oh sure I can help. I have nothing else to do anyway with no one here."
Isabelle ripped out a small piece of paper from her notes. She began writing down names and general locations for various armorers shops. It took a little but after a couple minutes of writing Ian had a complete list of good armorers around.
With that he turned away and left the store after thanking her. Ian headed back to the inn to meet up with Ty. Both of them wanted to buy some new armor before they left the city. That was why Ian asked Gordon for some recommendations.
Now that he had a whole list both of them would head out and look around. After a short walk Ian went into 'The Knight's Rest'. There Ty was already waiting, he sat the bar looking at the door.
Ian approached him with a smile.
"Hey man good news. Not only did I find a good armorer, I got a whole list of recommendations from a master blacksmith."
Ty looked at him with a surprised expression.
"Master blacksmith? Really? When did you meet a master blacksmith?"
Ian turned to him also surprised.
"I didn't tell you? I met him after getting into the city. He's a pretty cool guy, first dwarf I ever met. I'll introduce you to him sometime, if you need a new seord or something."
Ty had a grateful expression on his face before he strongly patted Ian's back.
"Thanks man! That quality of equipment will definitely make a huge difference for us."
Ian turned to his friend with a smile.
"You bet! Our party is gonna be decked out! I was planning on introducing everyone in the future anyway."
Ian sat down and ordered a drink before turning to the orc beside him.
"Anyway we have a list of good armorers if you're ready to head out."
Ty turned to him with a thoughtful expression.
"Should we invite Desmond?"
Ian looked at him with a smile.
"Yeah why not? He did only get a mantle from the lord's vault."
With that they sent Desmond a message. The response came quickly and they settled on waiting for Desmond at the inn. After he arrived they would head out to but some armor.

Chapter 31! Preparations for the upcoming section should be done next chapter. After that it will be brand new territory for the party. Speaking of I've been trying to think of a name for them as a group because I want them to form a guild in the future. Drop suggestions if you have any.
