Chapter 8
I saw how she turned pale. She immediately distanced her chair away from me. I smirked and turned my gaze at Caius again. He just shook his head and took his books. "Don't forget about your assignment, class. Class dismissed."
I just watched Caius as he left the classroom. I knew he was going straight to his office. I immediately took my bag and stormed out of the room and followed him. I waited for him to enter his office before I also went inside. I'm really thankful that he has his own office.
"Caius..."
Caius looked at me. He sighed and put his books on his table. "I told you not to approach me here on campus. What part of that don't you understand?" he asked, irritated.
"I saw you with Lynne earlier. Don't talk to her anymore," I said directly.
"Can't I even break up with her properly?" he asked, his eyes slightly narrowed.
I immediately smiled at what he said. "So, you broke up with her?"
"That's what you want, right?" he asked, there's a hint of annoyance in his voice.
He sat on his chair and opened his laptop. I sat on his table. I crossed my legs and closed his laptop. He looked up at me and glared. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"Did you really break up with her?" I asked.
"Are you trying to piss me off?" he asked, his jaw clenched.
"I'm just asking. I couldn't believe you really did that for me." I smiled sweetly. "Or are you just trying to protect her?" I asked, my smile disappeared.
"I wouldn't break up with her if you didn't act like a fucking creep and pulled a prank like that," he muttered.
I nodded. "My friend said you look dangerous, but I guess he was wrong this time," I whispered, still staring at him.
Caius stared straight into my eyes. I can feel the intensity of his stare even though my hair is covering my eyes. "I saw your friend earlier... It seems like he has feelings for you... Why don't you just play with him and leave me alone?"
I giggled. "Neron is just a friend... Why? Are you jealous?"
Caius smirked. "He's with you and not with Lynne... Why would I be jealous?"
I bit my lower lip and clenched my fist. I should have just killed that bitch.
"Your feelings will change as you spend time with me. You'll fall for me too." I tucked my hair behind my ears and stared at him. I want him to see it in my eyes... that I'm fucking serious about this.
"Are you trying to seduce me with your looks?" he asked in a deep voice. His eyes roamed all over my face.
My cheeks heated. I don't know why I panicked and got off his table. My heart is beating so fast. This time, it feels different. Most of the time, I'm always horny when he's around... but this time, I'm flustered. I couldn't explain how he could affect me with just one question.
"I-I'm not trying to seduce you... I'm not beautiful enough to do that," I mumbled and covered my face with my hair again.
I'm aware that I looked like a ghost. I'm aware that I'm not pretty enough for him. Seducing him with my looks never crossed my mind. If only I were beautiful enough, I would have seduced him a long time ago.
Caius went silent. He remained staring at me, his eyes piercing into my soul. He stood up and approached me. I just looked at his chest and avoided eye contact. My pulse is racing. My heart is beating so fast, it feels like it would burst.
I flinched when Caius touched my chin and raised my head. My hair moved away from my face. My knees almost gave up when our eyes met. My whole body quivered in sensation. I can feel electricity flowing through my veins. My lips parted. I'm having a hard time breathing. I looked at him with my half-closed eyes.
"Look at you... Is this how I affect you?" he rasped. He's staring at me as if he's enjoying the view... or am I just imagining it?
"C-Caius..." I whispered, it almost sounded like a moan.
I pressed my thighs together. He felt that. His eyes went down to my thighs.
"Fucking naughty," he murmured.
I almost lost it. Caius smirked and let go of my chin, then distanced himself from me. I just swallowed and restrained myself from moving closer to him again. My knees are still trembling.
He stared at my flushed face. "You're honestly pretty, Luisa... I would have hooked up with you if you weren't a crazy bitch... Too bad, you disgust me," he mumbled.
I don't know if I'm just numb or what, but his words didn't hurt me, to be honest. He can find me crazy, creepy, disgusting... I don't care about what he thinks about me; I don't want him to hate me though. I just want to be with him.
Caius didn't say anything after that. He just took his bag and was about to leave, but I immediately held his arm. He turned to me, seemingly annoyed.
"C-come with me. I'll get my things from my apartment," I whispered. I'm still affected by what happened earlier.
His forehead furrowed. "Don't tell me you're planning to stay at my house?"
I smiled. "That's exactly what I'm planning to do. We should stay together from now on. Right?" I asked, my hand went down to his hand.
Caius hissed and distanced himself from me. I just smiled and clenched my fist... I can feel my knees quivering. I couldn't believe that I touched his hand! I hope this isn't just a dream.
"I'll go out first so no one sees us. I'll wait in the parking lot."
I didn't wait for him to answer; I immediately left his office. I walked and ran out of the campus, all the way to the parking lot. I immediately saw Caius's car. Good thing it was also in a corner.
I waited for Caius beside his car. He arrived quickly. I saw that he had a bad look on his face when he arrived. He didn't say anything and immediately got into his car. He didn't say anything when I got inside his car. He just started the engine then drove away from the campus. I remained silent beside him.
I bit my lower lip and inhaled the scent lingering in the air. I can smell Caius' cologne. I just cleared my throat and pressed my thighs together.
"C-Caius... I'll just tell you where my apartment is," I just whispered.
Caius didn't say anything. I thought he wouldn't follow me and would go straight home, but he followed the directions I was giving him. I just smiled as I tapped my thigh.
"W-we're here," I announced. Caius stopped the car. "Just wait here," I just said before I got out of his car.
As much as I want to let him in, I can't. He would surely freak out. He might even faint if he saw the inside of my apartment. He doesn't have a good impression of me right now; I don't want to make it worse yet.
I immediately packed my things. I only brought my important belongings. I stopped and looked at Caius' pictures all over the wall. I caressed it and smiled. This time, he's going to be with me for real, not just in my fantasies.
I looked at my computers. I smiled as I won't need them anymore. I still couldn't believe it. I know Caius would probably kick me out of his house anytime. But I'm still so happy. I can't believe this is finally happening.
I flinched when I heard the door opened. I froze as Caius emerged from the door. He glared at me. He seemed to have gotten impatient waiting for me. "What took you so long to fucking pack your thing--"
He stopped when he looked at my wall. I immediately approached him, carrying my bag. "Let's go out now," I just said.
Caius pushed me aside and barged into my house. His lips parted and his eyes roamed around the wall. He even froze when he saw a naked picture of him there. "What the..." he trailed off, his mouth agape in disbelief.
My pulse raced, not in fear... but in excitement. I know he'll hate me for this, but I don't know why it excites me.
His eyes went to my computers. He seemed even more shocked because his house was clearly visible there. "Fuck... Your insanity is on another level. You're fucking out of your mind," he muttered.
He looked at me. I can see in his eyes how everything that he saw here creeped him out. I bit my lower lip and played with my fingers. I gulped and licked my lower lip. "Y-yes... I'm so crazy over you, Caius."
