Callum was curious about Yvette's reaction to the question. If she didn't react, it was safe to assume she was the one who sent the two thugs to attack Edith earlier that afternoon. This was the main reason why he suddenly wanted to have dinner with her.
Seeing Yvette's seemingly casual reaction, Callum became even more convinced that she was the culprit. However, he maintained his composure to avoid being caught. All he could do now was show off his handsome face.
"Actually, there's no need to ask. I already know what she's up to. Edith's been very busy lately, and this has nothing to do with her."
Callum nodded, still wearing a haughty expression. "So you're the type of woman who doesn't like small talk."
"Edith is a loner. Whenever she's busy, she prefers to do everything herself and handle things her way. So, now I just let her go rather than having us constantly fight over this."
