Edith immediately grabbed her fiancé's hand tightly and ran, avoiding the two men who were still chasing her. She was curious about who was targeting her all of a sudden. Was this all Yvette's doing? The most important thing now was to escape this situation with Callum. Fortunately, Callum saved her just in time, even though the original plan was for them to go to separate shopping malls.
Edith and Callum immediately got into a sedan parked on the side of the road. Callum drove at full speed before the two thugs caught up to them. Edith stared fearfully in the rearview mirror, gripping the door handle.
"Edith, are you hurt?"
"I'm fine. If you hadn't saved me earlier, I would have been in trouble."
"Luckily, today's meeting ended early, so I was able to pick you up." Callum glanced at his fiancée, gripping the steering wheel tightly. "By the way, I sent you a message earlier. Didn't you read it?"
