This was the first time Arabella had done such a lowly thing to temporarily mend her relationship with Cliff until she could find proof. Arabella kept her head down until Cliff was willing to accept her as his girlfriend again.
The atmosphere in the room was tense as Cliff greeted her with a cold stare. Arabella could feel goosebumps rising all over her, expecting Cliff to rush over to her in a panic and pick her up. However, the situation wasn't what she expected.
"What are you doing?" Cliff snapped.
"Cliff, please, I want our relationship to go back to the way it was."
Cliff laughed awkwardly as he walked over to his ex-girlfriend, who was still kneeling by the door. "So, now you're begging me to get back together? Did you think I'd give in to you that easily?"
Arabella rubbed her palms together quickly. "I'm sorry, Cliff. It's all my fault for causing this mess."
"You've ruined my reputation to the point that Callum has taken my place! You're truly insolent!"
