Ficool

Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: There is a company on the opposite side!

Su Chen was about to raise his gun and shoot, but Nicole pulled him back.

She waved the briefcase-style integrated weapon in her hand and said, "Su Chen, hide behind me! Don't use your two little pistols!"

"You call them little pistols?"

Su Chen held Twin Ether Blasters in his left hand and right hand, feeling a bit amused.

These were the protagonist's exclusive weapons in the system, adding 23% critical hit damage, 8% critical hit rate, and 50 points of strength (5 times the human physical limit).

Putting aside these additional attributes, one blaster had the power comparable to a large-caliber sniper rifle, and the other provided the suppressive fire of a submachine gun.

These two fierce weapons should by no means be called 'little pistols.'

"Compared to my firepower, they are little pistols!"

Nicole shook her briefcase and fired a shell at the approaching Red Fang Gang members.

Boom!

A huge explosion erupted, leaving Miguel and dozens of his subordinates covered in dust and grime, with several unlucky ones instantly killed.

"Enemy attack!"

The Red Fang Gang members frantically sought cover, firing bullets in the direction of Su Chen and Nicole.

"How's that?"

Nicole lifted her chin, looking at Su Chen triumphantly.

"Indeed, quite good."

Su Chen nodded slightly, and the silver-white pistol in his right hand spat out flames.

He didn't aim for the head because he had many cheats, but no enemy lock-on.

Under rapid fire, aiming for the larger area of the torso was a more correct choice.

That area was rich in vital human organs, and too many hits would also lead to death.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

The gunshots were crisp and pleasant to the ear, yet they were the sound of death.

In just two seconds, Su Chen fired twelve shots.

The Red Fang Gang members fell to the ground, one after another.

"Boss, there's a company firing at us from the opposite side, let's retreat!"

"Yeah, Boss, their firepower is too fierce!"

The Red Fang Gang subordinates were prostrate on the ground, already disoriented.

The bullets weren't fired densely; it was just the firepower of one submachine gun.

But every single bullet hit a person.

They had reason to suspect that the other side was an elite company of an elite unit, engaging them with precision fire.

"What the hell are you talking about!" Miguel slapped his subordinate's face, distorting it. "A company ran in right under the noses of so many of you? Are you all blind, you bastards?"

"At most, only three people are engaging us, more likely two."

"Suppress their fire, and take them down!"

Based on the infiltration situation, there were at most five people on the other side, and two were stealing the safe.

One was firing cannons, and at most two were firing guns.

But this was still outrageous; could a person really shoot that fast and that accurately?

He wanted to see who on earth was on the other side to possess such skill.

"Yes, Boss!"

The subordinates raised their guns and fired together, venting their inner fear.

The massive firepower completely covered the area where Nicole and Su Chen were.

It was quite effective; at least the other side no longer dared to come out and shoot.

By the corner of the wall, Nicole and Su Chen, under the Red Fang Gang's suppressive fire, did not shoot back out.

Their goal of delaying time had been achieved; there was no need to risk injury to make additional shots.

"..."

Nicole stared blankly at Su Chen.

The shooting just now had left her stunned.

That pistol actually fired as rapidly as a submachine gun.

And not only was it fast, but it was also incredibly accurate. She hadn't noticed a single miss with just a glance.

How did this guy manage to do that?

"Still a little pistol?" Su Chen gently blew away the smoke from the Twin Ether Blasters' muzzle, with a double meaning: "I'm quite fierce."

"Indeed, very fierce."

Nicole nodded in agreement.

Based on his performance just now, that was unbelievably fierce.

This guy was mysterious and well-trained; could he be from the same place as Anby?

Was her luck really that good, to pick up two powerhouses?

Beside Nicole, Su Chen kept an eye on the Red Fang Gang's movements while secretly pondering.

Although it was his first time shooting and injuring more than ten people, he didn't feel any nausea or urge to vomit; instead, he felt a wild sense of exhilaration.

Su Chen had a guess about this.

He had fused with a legendary warrior who had experienced countless battles, so naturally, he would no longer be afraid of harming living beings.

And that wild sense of exhilaration was probably the primal wildness flowing in human blood.

After all, even up to modern society, humans still had the nickname 'Terrifying Bipedal Ape,' and wildness was also a part of human nature.

"Are Anby and Billy not done yet? I can't hold on much longer!"

Su Chen felt the increasingly close line of fire and frowned slightly.

The Red Fang Gang members were constantly advancing towards their direction while maintaining suppressive fire.

In another two minutes, they would be in direct engagement.

"Almost ready!"

Nicole looked at her personal terminal and said anxiously.

As she was speaking, Anby and Billy had already emerged from the room, with Billy holding a safe in his arms.

"We got the goods, let's go quickly!"

The four met up and left in the opposite direction of the Red Fang Gang.

On the other side, Miguel was still leading his subordinates, cautiously advancing while continuously firing at the wall.

After a while, Miguel led his subordinates to Su Chen's previous position.

They only saw a scattering of bright yellow shell casings, with a faint scent of gunpowder lingering.

"Damn it, chase them!"

Miguel fired a shot into the sky, shouting furiously.

Such loud gunshots would surely attract the cops.

They had to catch those thieves before the cops arrived.

...

Inside the building, the four of them, Su Chen and his group, ran wildly with the safe, evading the Red Fang Gang's pursuit and interception.

"Boss Nicole, you were so cool just now, blocking such powerful firepower for us!"

Billy said as he ran, looking at Nicole with great admiration.

He had heard the commotion outside from the room and felt his heart pound with fear, yet Nicole had managed to hold them off.

"Ha, haha, of course!" Nicole laughed somewhat awkwardly, but ultimately didn't go against her conscience. "Alright, actually, it was mostly Su Chen's credit. I only played a crucial small role."

Most of the credit just now belonged to Su Chen; perhaps her so-called crucial role was firing a celebratory shot?

"I guessed as much," Anby said calmly. "Those shell casings on the ground weren't from a briefcase."

The wise Anby saw through everything; Nicole's briefcase hadn't changed much in weight, so the main attacker was naturally Su Chen.

However, there were only a dozen or so bullets scattered on the ground.

To be able to turn dozens of Red Fang Gang members into startled birds with so few bullets showed Su Chen's strength.

Having such a powerful teammate was truly a blessing.

It seemed she had indeed found a good owner for that Thunderstrike Blade.
