Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Wheel of Fate

Darkness.

That was all there was. No sound, no sensation—just endless, suffocating nothingness.

I couldn't feel my body. Couldn't even tell if I was breathing. One moment, I was crossing the street, phone in hand, reading the acceptance letter from my dream college—my life's goal finally achieved. And then… a flash of light, a horn, and pain. Then nothing.

Now, this.

Was this death?

It felt like floating in ink. A silence so deep it roared in my mind. I tried to move, but there was no "me" to move. I was just consciousness adrift in the void.

Then, suddenly, a voice echoed from everywhere and nowhere at once.

"So… you are the one who has arrived next."

It wasn't loud. But it carried weight. A voice that felt older than time, older than existence itself.

"W–Who are you?" I managed to think—or maybe I said it? It was hard to tell when I didn't have a mouth.

"Names are irrelevant to mortals, but if you must call me something… I am the Keeper of Cycles. The one who governs the rebirth of souls that defy destiny."

My awareness trembled. "Rebirth…? You mean—"

"You died with unfulfilled potential. Fate has deemed you worthy of another chance. But your next existence shall not be chosen by you."

A blinding light erupted in the void. Before me appeared a colossal, glowing wheel covered in shifting symbols—some I recognized, others beyond comprehension. Each section pulsed with power, names and worlds flickering across it like fireflies: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Demon Slayer, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball, Marvel, Percy Jackson...

The voice thundered again:

"This is the Wheel of Talents. It shall decide the essence of your new being—your gifts, your power, your potential."

My nonexistent heart pounded.

"Spin it."

I hesitated for only a second. Then, with a thought, the wheel spun—faster and faster until the lights became a blur. My mind screamed with anticipation as it began to slow…

Click. Click. Click.

The first name stopped.

『Indra Ōtsutsuki – The Genius of Chakra』

My thoughts froze.

"What?! Indra Ōtsutsuki?! The son of the Sage of Six Paths?!"

Power thrummed through the void, as if the universe itself acknowledged the weight of that name. I could feel something awaken deep within me—energy ancient and potent. Chakra. Shape manipulation. Ninjutsu creation. The bloodline of the Ōtsutsuki.

"Holy crap… I just got the talent of the inventor of ninjutsu."

Before I could process it, the voice spoke again.

"Four more spins remain."

The wheel spun once more.

Click. Click. Click.

『Yoriichi Tsugikuni – The Breath of the Sun』

I swear my soul stopped breathing.

"You've got to be kidding me."The strongest swordsman in the Demon Slayer universe. The one who nearly slew Muzan himself. His instincts, his speed, his combat talent—unmatched.

"You are favored by fortune," the voice murmured, almost amused.

"Fortune? This is absurd!" I laughed into the void. "Two gods of combat already?! I'll take it!"

The wheel spun again.

Click. Click. Click.

『L Lawliet – The Mind of the Detective』

My soul blinked. "L? As in Death Note's L?!"

I couldn't help but grin.No power, no chakra, no magic—but the mind of the world's greatest detective. The ability to predict, analyze, and outthink almost anyone.

"Okay," I said, "this is insane. I'm already overpowered."

"Do not celebrate yet. Two more remain."

The wheel spun again, faster this time.

Click. Click. Click.

『Hao Asakura – The Shaman King』

I felt my very essence expand. Fire, souls, spirits—knowledge beyond life and death itself flooded my consciousness. Infinite mana. Spirit control. Reincarnation mastery.

"Oh. Oh, that's broken," I whispered. "I just became… unstoppable."

"One final spin."

I braced myself.

Click. Click. Click.

『Hiruzen Sarutobi – The Professor of Ninjutsu』

My mind filled with centuries of knowledge—mastery over all five elemental affinities, wisdom, battle experience, and the leadership of a Hokage.

When the final light faded, I felt complete. My soul burned with a thousand legacies.

"Your talents are set," the god said, voice echoing like thunder through eternity. "Now… one last wheel remains."

A second, smaller wheel appeared—its markings ancient and glowing with divine light.

"This is the Wheel of Worlds. The place of your rebirth."

I swallowed hard. "Here we go…"

The wheel spun. Universes flashed before me: Naruto, Marvel, Dragon Ball, Percy Jackson, High School DxD, One Piece…

Then it slowed.

Click. Click. Click.

『Percy Jackson Universe』

I exhaled. "Okay… that's not bad. At least it's not Dragon Ball."

"One more spin," the deity said. "The Wheel of Time—your entry point."

I nodded. The third wheel spun.

Ancient dates, future eras, and mythic ages flickered across it.Click. Click. Click.

It stopped.

『1286 BC』

"…wait, what?!"

"Three thousand, two hundred and eighty-six years before the events you know."

I laughed in disbelief. "You're sending me that far back?!"

"You carry the blood of Indra Ōtsutsuki and the soul mastery of Hao Asakura. Time is no obstacle. You will live long enough… or learn to be reborn again."

The void began to tremble. A blinding light enveloped me as I felt something pull me downward, through the darkness.

"Go, reincarnated one," the god's voice thundered. "Shape the myths before they are written."

The light consumed me—and everything went white.
