Chapter 1 - BEGINNING

God first created Himself, then time. Hence, time is not older than God. Events, woven into a web by unforeseeable sequences, occur beyond time. Before fate even had a name, the bloody old dagger I held in my hand whispered into my mind, etching that I was the true evil. The weight that had settled on my wings long ago turned into torment, becoming that dagger with a silver hilt adorned with red jewels, and plunged into eternity. I, the son of the Goddess, the ancient devil. The ornate excuse known by heart by sinners.

"When I was the one holding the dagger soaked in my mother's blood, I realized that I was the true evil."

The existence of time is not older than God. The phenomenon called an event cannot be described without time. Therefore, stories begin from the start of time. Whatever He wishes, happens. And He wanted life: Admiration, worship, amusement, worry, fear, boredom, calmness, chaos, longing, disgust, empathetic pain, fascination, jealousy, excitement, terror, interest, joy, romance, sadness, satisfaction, sexual desire, sympathy, and triumph.

First, He created His children: Angel and Devil. Afterwards; the universe, galaxies, stars, planets, life...

Angel almost always spent time with God. While Devil was mostly lost in idle thoughts, Angel was always by his mother's side, admiring her majesty. He was impressed by how powerful she was and adored her.

God always taught His children what was good; but, being the possessor of infinite justice, He also showed them evil.

"Listen, my children. When creating good, I took help from evil, and when creating evil, I took help from good. Deep within good, there is always evil. And within evil, there is always good. So that you do not regret your future actions, never stop thinking." — God

His sentence ended, and He created the world—effortlessly. Angel and Devil showed their admiration by applauding.

After God left the space—He is only physically leaving because He is omnipresent—the children began to talk among themselves.

"Did you see? It's impossible not to worship Him." — Angel

"Yes,His power is unimaginable; yet, despite that, He has no arrogance. If I had that much power, I would have terrible arrogance. All praise be to Him." — Devil

Seeing incomprehensible expressions on Angel's face, Devil asks him if he is alright; but gets no clear answer. A while later, Angel flees from Devil's presence to a different place.

After this event, Devil starts to travel. "How beautiful are God's creations," he thinks. Majestic spirits were appearing around, cute fairies were flying, ghosts terrifying the realm with their power were wrestling. And Devil admired Him even more. Every time he thought of the expression on Angel's face, he could only understand the feeling of jealousy.

When Angel descended to Earth, there was only one continent on Earth, surrounded by a massive ocean. In this state, the Earth had no purpose; it was just spinning around, being lazy—just like itself.

Angel retracted his massive wings and assumed a different form. Because in his winged form, he was afraid of damaging the trees God had created.

Knowing what Angel was thinking, God came to him.

"There is nothing to worry about, my dear child. Even the trees know your good intentions. Besides, you are a being I created; only blessing can rain from your wings." — God

After God left, Angel continued his stroll. He observed his surroundings, rested, and slept.

"Even His creations radiate light. I wish I could be that magnificent." — Angel

"Omnipotence, isn't it very unjust?" — Angel's inner self

"I mean...I don't know." — Angel

Billions of years passed from that day. And humanity sprouted on Earth.

Groupings among themselves, separations into races, wars, and deaths occurred. Religious texts and beliefs emerged. Of course, since they couldn't access correct and true information, various religions diversified.

"Look at them, they're like ants." — Lunaria Fairy

"They're not intelligent like us.They fight for foolish ideals." — Aurelia Fairy

"Isn't this more virtuous? After all, they don't commit suicide thinking everything is meaningless." — Lunaria Fairy

"I still think they're fools. After all, as long as you know you exist, even fools can guess that at least something has meaning." — Aurelia Fairy

"So is the problem that they fight? When they don't fight, does that mean they've understood life?" — Lunaria Fairy

Angel walked towards them and joined the conversation.

"The problem here is not whether they fight or not. Since they can never prove the truth in any way, they hold different thoughts. Thus, tension forms among them. That's why I say 'fool'. Am I wrong?" — Angel

The two fairies bowed before Angel, and then Aurelia Fairy replied: "You are right."

God, having understood Angel's inner voice, called both His children to His side.

"Look, my children. My omnipotence is unjust for the two of you. I will give you a part of my power so that justice is established between us. The greatest difference between equality and justice is that the deserving one gets what they deserve. But if you are to take these powers, you must use them and fulfill your duties correctly. And whoever truly deserves it, will ultimately ascend to that throne after me." — God
