The meeting with Merrick, Lucas and Rick, was one Anthonio hadn't considered to happen without trouble. Among the various units in BlueBird, the tech department was his toughest, cos of the never ending feud he had with his Grandson—Lucas.
Today, he was willing to call him one, and possibly, consider his attitude towards him—just for today. He didn't want to commit anything long-term, cos he wasn't certain how Lucas, or Sonia would react to it.
"We will be having a change in the way things are run here." Marcus started. His voice softer than he had ever let it be, releasing his breath slowly, he continued. "I understand l haven't given this unit a fair chance to be innovative—and l—apologize... "
Lucas was the first to move himself on his seat. He wasn't comfortable at Anthonio's politeness and he thought he was being a hypocrite. His eyes narrowed intently at him, warning him against any further unusual surprise.
