Makarov said again, "Erza! Mystogan!"
"Here!" The two stepped forward.
"Erza, go to Kama City to support Blue Pegasus!"
"Mystogan, go investigate the Rhine Basin! If you encounter an unbeatable situation, retreat promptly."
"Yes!"
Erza tapped her chest with one hand, giving a knight's salute.
"Don't worry!" Mystogan nodded calmly.
Ezreal's hands, controlling the Hextech Teleportation Gate, once again glowed with blue-gold light, and the gate split from one into two.
"The left side leads to the Kama City Gate!"
"The right side leads to the center of the Rhine Basin!"
The two nodded and stepped into their respective teleportation gates.
"Natsu! Gajeel! Happy!"
"Levy! Jet! Droy! Ikaruga!"
Makarov called out the guild's two Dragons, the Road Engine Team, and the guild's only master swordsman.
"Oh, I'm fired up!" Natsu clapped his fists together, a fire magic circle flashing between them, and Happy stood on Natsu's shoulder, hands on his hips, looking excited.
"Heh heh!" Gajeel let out a sinister laugh, twisting his neck as he stood beside Natsu.
"Road Engine, in position!" Levy and the other two lined up behind the two Dragons.
Ikaruga stood behind Levy, her tall figure at least fifteen centimeters taller than the glasses-wearing girl, her hands tucked into the sleeves of her wide white kimono, and the red tachi at her waist remarkably conspicuous.
"Natsu, Gajeel, take all the explosive magic crystals in the guild and make sure to stop all enemies on this main line!"
"Road Engine Team, you go to Mal Canyon and do your best to hold back the enemy! If you encounter a strong enemy, Ikaruga, protect the three of them, and retreat if you can't win!"
"Yes!" The six responded in unison.
Makarov looked up at Jet, who was wearing a cowboy hat, "Porlyusica already told me, Jet, since you have the will to become stronger even if it means risking your life, you must stick with it!"
"Ah… don't worry, old man." Jet, who had been looking down, pushed up his hat brim. His originally dark brown eyes had now turned a strange green, and faint smoke seemed to churn in the depths of his pupils, eerie and dangerous.
The keen-eyed Ezreal immediately noticed that it was definitely not an abnormal pupil color caused by activating magic power; Jet's eyes seemed to have been completely mutated by some substance.
"Granny Poluchka is indeed knowledgeable, it seems the potion has been successfully developed." A faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as Ezreal pointed to the left teleportation gate for Levy and the other three.
His gaze lingered on Droy for a moment, "I wonder if Droy has made any progress…"
Natsu and Gajeel didn't take the teleportation gate; Mira took them straight to the guild's warehouse.
Explosive magic crystals are similar to high explosives, the principle being to fill unstable fire elements into the magic crystals, which can act as a bomb when thrown.
Makarov spoke again in a clear voice, "The rest of you, with Magnolia as the center, support outwards in a circle, making sure not to miss any enemies from any direction!"
"Yes!" The remaining members responded in unison, then quickly moved into action.
Jinkadi City is right next to Magnolia, so there was no need to specifically open a gate for Natsu and Gajeel; they could run there in time.
So Ezreal gave Makarov a reassuring look, waved his hand to close one teleportation gate, and turned to enter the only remaining blue-gold Hextech Teleportation Gate to seek aid from various places.
The Magic Council members also retreated to report back.
In the hall, the old man was left alone, standing in the empty guild, his expression sometimes relieved, sometimes worried… On the outskirts of Jinkadi City, along the railway line!
Due to its proximity to the Rhine Basin, the city's residents had already been organized by the Royal Army to evacuate to Magnolia.
After all, with the Ten Wizard Saints, the old man, stationed in the city, these beastmen were no match.
Jinkadi City, a ghost town, had not a single light, and was eerily silent.
In the distant night, the White Rat People, surging like a white tide, made no sound as they approached the railway.
Just as they neared the tracks, the whistle of a train echoed from afar.
The tracks vibrated slightly, and a train powered by magic crystals emitted a piercing warning sound, rolling along the tracks.
Like an iron snake emerging from the darkness, it dragged its long body across the path of the White Rat People army.
A total of 32 carriages formed a straight iron line, slowly passing over the tracks.
The White Rat People army, still some distance away, saw the train passing and all slowed down.
But with that delay, they could no longer cross this path.
Two swaying figures were dragged by a small blue cat as they jumped from the train, squatting on the ground and vomiting uncontrollably.
"We should have run after the train… Ugh…" Natsu propped himself on the ground with both hands, spewing like a small fountain, almost throwing up his breakfast.
The Iron Dragon was even worse; he had ridden magic trains only a handful of times, and his resistance was much weaker than Natsu's. He was now lying on the ground, eyes spinning, foam at the corners of his mouth.
"Natsu, Gajeel, pull yourselves together!" Happy spread his small wings, entered a spiritual ethereal state, and possessed Natsu, who was in relatively better condition, immediately casting a healing spell.
Although motion sickness is not an injury, Happy's healing magic could still provide a soothing effect.
A white light flashed over Natsu, and his face, which had been spewing, immediately eased considerably.
"You saved me, Happy!" Natsu let out a long sigh of relief, looking gratefully at Happy, who had left him and flown to save Gajeel.
"Aye!" Happy responded, and in his spiritual state, he dove into Gajeel, and a white light shone from within the Iron Dragon.
The unconscious Iron Dragon immediately groaned, sat up, and vomited a large amount, then wiped his mouth with a grimace, "I hate moving tin cans!"
"Thanks, Fire Dragon's cat!" Gajeel awkwardly thanked Happy on his shoulder.
"Aye, no time for chitchat, mission, mission!" Happy, in the best condition, hurriedly reminded the two, his small paw pointing at the train that was about to pull away.
Gajeel stood up, looked at Natsu, and shouted, "Fire Dragon!"
"Ah! I'm fired up!" Natsu brought his fists in front of his mouth, took a deep breath, his chest rapidly expanding, and the surrounding temperature instantly soared, "Fire Dragon's…"
"Roar!"
A crimson magic circle opened, and a violent flame breath directly blasted the magic train.
"Boom!" The hit train car erupted in a fierce explosion, and the explosive magic crystals installed inside the car were also detonated. Crimson flames shot into the sky, igniting the other cars as well.
Loud and continuous explosions deafened the ears, and the towering flames formed a giant wall of fire, directly blocking the White Rat People army outside the fire wall.
The shockwave of the explosion also killed all the White Rat People who were close by.
The crimson fire wall lit up the night sky, but it wasn't over yet.
Gajeel activated Iron Man Mode, his entire body covered in iron-blue, and wrapped in a translucent white eggshell shield given by Happy. He braved the high temperature of the fire wall and approached the train wreckage.
Gajeel suddenly bent down and gripped the tracks with both hands. Powerful magic power emanated from his body, transforming into iron-blue iron sand swirling around him.
Under the high temperature of the flames, the remaining train parts and tracks had already softened.
Gajeel roared, and the tracks on the ground twisted as if alive, sharp iron spikes growing from them.
The tracks, along with the carriage wreckage, deformed together, and a metal thorn wall burning with flames impressively took shape.
