Chapter 185 - Chapter 185 Orc Attack

After speaking, Ezreal looked at his companions around him, a gentle smile on his face, and said, "Also, on a side note, if there are no combat missions, could everyone help me collect some Orc corpses? My Summoned Beast is quite a big eater."

"I'll pay for them, by the piece." Ezreal finished, then looked at Laxus and the other powerful guild members. "If you encounter a powerful Orc, I can pay a high price for a live capture. If a live capture is difficult, I can also pay a high price for a relatively intact corpse. I'd appreciate your trouble."

Mystogan was slightly surprised but didn't react much. He had been suddenly called back by the Master due to the Orc invasion, and he didn't know much about Ezreal, a newcomer who had only joined a little over half a year ago.

Most of the guild members knew that Ezreal's Summoned Beast could evolve by fusing with other life forms, so they all nodded.

Erza gave him an affirmative look, "No problem."

"Is he always thinking about improving?" Laxus thought, looking at Ezreal with a gratified expression, and nodded slightly.

The three members of the Thunder God Tribe were all loyal fans of Laxus, so if their boss nodded, they naturally had no problem, and they all gave Ezreal reassuring looks.

Natsu put one foot on the table, Yuumi and Happy perched on his shoulders, one on each side, and he roared excitedly, breathing fire, "Wahahaha, I'm fired up! Leave it to me!"

Elfman gave Ezreal a thumbs-up, "Manly!"

Levy looked at Ezreal's kind smile, tugged on Cana's clothes, and whispered into her friend's ear, "EZ sounds really scary, doesn't he?"

Mira, who overheard, smiled and patted Levy's head.

The atmosphere in the hall eased quite a bit, and Makarov chimed in with a smile, "Just don't run out of money to pay for them later."

Ezreal smiled and winked at the old man, "I'll get a loan from you then."

Makarov immediately looked left and right, "Hey! Newcomer over there gnawing on a goblet, that goblet is 100, pay Mira after the meeting!"

Gajeel, who was innocently targeted, chewed on the iron goblet and shouted with a blank expression, "This thing is one hundred?"

"Don't you understand the value of historical accumulation! That's a goblet from the Second Master's era, an antique! One hundred is already an internal price for you!" Makarov snorted, then stood up and said seriously, "Back to the main topic, the changes in the enemy are very likely a prelude to a full-scale attack."

"Next, we may have to face the enemy's desperate struggle, so everyone needs to stay vigilant recently."

Before Makarov could finish speaking, the hall door was suddenly burst open.

A Magic Council enforcer rushed in, shouting intelligence information, "Master Makarov! The Council has detected spatial fluctuations in the Rhine Basin, and a large number of Orcs are invading!"

...Rhine Basin!

Invisible and colorless ripples suddenly appeared in the center of the basin, spreading outwards in circles.

A black and white energy light spot appeared in the air, then expanded with the wind.

In just the blink of an eye, a giant black and white intertwined energy vortex appeared, slowly rotating clockwise.

From the vortex, a burly figure let out a wild laugh and leaped out, landing heavily on the ground.

"Human world, Demon Ape Jack has come to bring you fear!"

The three-meter-tall humanoid giant ape laughed up at the sky, covered in black fur, with a pair of evil, cold red eyes, a strong, muscular physique, and excitedly pounded his chest with his fists, emitting a dull sound.

Dark energy emanated from his body, forming grotesque ghostly phantoms that silently wailed around him.

"You're too loud, Jack!"

A majestic, deep voice sounded, and a strong man with golden bull horns on his head walked out of the black and white vortex with an expressionless face.

This bull-horned strong man was bare-chested, and every step he took cracked the earth. Thick earth elemental magic power transformed into gray airflow that spewed from his nostrils with his breathing.

Immediately after, a fierce wolf howl sounded, and a black figure quickly flew out of the portal, landing on all fours beside the Demon Ape.

It was a black wolfman, slightly smaller than the Demon Ape, with a pair of eerie green eyes filled with malice and faintly flickering green flames.

The wolfman twisted his neck, his stark white fangs exposed to the air, his expression savage and bloodthirsty, "Too serious, Arnold, let's make a big mess!"

"That's right, that's right, chop off heads, chop off hands, chop off feet! Chop! Chop! Chop them all up!"

A figure with flapping wings quickly rushed out of the portal and hovered in the air, a pair of golden insect wings spread and flapping rapidly.

The newcomer was covered in golden armor, with only a pair of golden eyes visible on his face. He held two curved blades, and though slender, he possessed a sharp and fierce aura that made people dare not look directly at him.

"No matter what the enemy is, chop them all up!" A hoarse voice came through the helmet.

The two blades in his hands gently rubbed together, creating dazzling sparks. The golden-armored man flapped his wings and circled in the sky, then folded his wings and landed lightly on the ground, his eyes, the only part visible through his helmet, filled with killing intent.

"How brutal, Lord Brain. But the suggestion to make a big mess is a good one!" A cold, ghost-like voice sounded.

A man in a black suit, with a build similar to an adult male but with a pair of jet-black ram horns and jet-black eyes, slowly walked out.

The man was playing with a Rubik's Cube in one hand and leaning on a walking stick with the other, his demeanor as elegant as a gentleman.

However, where the ram-horned man with the Rubik's Cube stood, faint black smoke rose from beneath his feet, the hazy black smoke resembling twisted ghosts.

Through the black smoke, those jet-black eyes were deep and eerie, seemingly connected to an abyss, making one's hair stand on end with a single glance.

"How rare, Douglas, that you would agree with these brutes."

A supremely majestic voice came from the portal again.

A man with a white tiger head and an exceptionally strong physique, emanating white cold air, strode out of the portal.

The tiger-headed man was nearly two meters tall, not as large as the Demon Ape's three-meter stature, but his aura was no less imposing, his ice-blue tiger eyes looking around disdainfully.

As he breathed, stark white cold air was exhaled, and the surrounding temperature rapidly dropped.

The ram-horned man, called Douglas, walked to the tiger-headed man, leaning on his cane, a cold smile on his lips, "A certain amount of indulgence is necessary, don't you think, Lord Caesar?"

The tiger-headed man grinned, four stark white fangs exposed to the air, and astonishing cold air surged skyward, "Then let's go all out!"
