Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Nuclear resonance (continue)

Chapter two: Nuclear resonance .

It's been a hard day after the dream, and Leanne didn't tell anyone what she saw.

She felt that talking could wake up something she couldn't control.

But since that night, she's been seeing little signs no one else is noticing.

As he passed by the trees, the branches leaned gently toward her as if to say hello

And when she closes her eyes, she hears the bad guy turn into a silent tone.

Even the gray cat who lives near their house, stared at her with long eyes, like he knew more than he should.

One morning, she went out into the woods to pick up grass like her grandmother did.

The ground was still wet from the night's rain, and fog crawled through the bushes like a living smoke.

The air is cold, perfectly calm.

But deep down, there was something moving-- a slight warm flow, starting from her chest, stretching all the way to her fingertips.

She sat next to a giant tree, put the basket by her side, and reached out to touch the ground.

Suddenly, the soil slowly burst out and a small, bright green plant emerged

She opened her eyes in seconds as if time had bowed to her.

I pulled back in panic, and then whispered:

> "I... did nothing."

But she knew it was a lie.

She felt the plant before it showed up, like her soul was calling from deep.

Then I heard the same voice that came in her dreams, this time closer than ever.

> "Everything you touch remembers the origin... don't run away from your blood."

She quickly raised her head, looking for the source of the voice

But there was no one.

Just the forest, and light sneaks through the leaves like cold gold threads.

On her way back to the village, she saw smoke rise from afar.

She hurried, until she got to the square.

People are gathered, and their faces nervous.

A woman screams.

> "The grass caught on its own. No one touched her!

Lian approached slowly, and she saw the fire still burning in a bunch of dry grass I collected yesterday.

But the strange thing is that the flame was not red... but blue, clear as moonlight.

When people saw her, there was a sudden silence.

Then she heard one of the men whisper in fear:

> "She's... the curse is back."

Layne walked away slowly, feeling like the whole earth was looking at her.

She didn't try to justify anything, because she herself no longer understands.

That night, I sat alone by the window, staring into the dark forest.

And among the branches of trees, she saw a light far away, like a heart beating in the shadows.

I felt the light calling her--quietly, insistently.

She grabbed her coat, went out without thinking, and walked slowly down the road to the woods.

The closer she got, the brighter it was, until I reached a strange spot you had never seen before.

There, in the midst of smoke and moisture, she saw a circular stone flashing with a faint light similar to what she had seen in her dream.

Her hand reached out to touch him, and the earth burned around her with old symbols

And I heard the same voice say for the first time quite clearly:

> "Hello, daughter of the core... You've been waiting a long time."
