Chapter 1 - a new hero is born part 1

The alarm clock rings, but Karrar ignores it. The alarm keeps ringing, and eventually, Karrar turns it off and goes back to sleep for another half hour. But after that, he decides to get up.

Karrar Hussein wakes up and gets ready for his first day at college. He washes his face, puts on his clothes, and then passes by his little sister, Fatima Hussein, who is playing with My Little Pony dolls and says to him:

"The final episode of My Little Pony is going to air tonight. You'll watch it with me as you promised, right?"

Karrar: "Y-yes, of course."

Karrar doesn't like the show and isn't interested in it, but he doesn't want to make his little sister sad. Karrar lives at home with two siblings: his little sister Fatima, who is 10 years old, and his older brother Mustafa, who is 24.

After their parents disappeared suddenly, Mustafa decided to take care of his siblings and provide for them. He runs a gym as a coach and has a tall, broad-shouldered physique. He gave up several things in life, including marrying the girl he loved, just to take care of his siblings.

Both Karrar and Mustafa try to give Fatima a normal life, filled with love and care, so that their parents' disappearance doesn't affect her.

Anyway, Karrar passes by Mustafa at home, and Mustafa says:

"You know you're late, right? You were supposed to wake up half an hour ago."

Karrar: "It's the first day of college. I don't think anyone will punish me for being late. And even if they do, it's not the end of the world if I miss a few lectures."

Mustafa sighs and says: "Irresponsible as usual. By the way, have you thought about my advice?"

Karrar: "What advice?"

Mustafa: "You know exactly what advice I mean."

Karrar: "Ohhh, you mean going to the gym and working out. Well, no, I haven't thought about it because I'm not interested and I don't think I ever will be."

Mustafa: "A day will come when you'll understand how important it is to build muscles."

Karrar: "Maybe."

Karrar leaves the house and heads to college, where he meets his friend Murtadha.

They greet each other and chat for a bit.

Murtadha: "Did you see the latest video posted by the athlete Jabbar? He lifted 150 kilograms for 12 reps. That's amazing!"

Karrar: "No, I haven't. Honestly, I'm not very interested in sports and I don't like talking about them. My brother annoys me enough about it."

Murtadha: "Okay, as you wish… Speaking of your brother, how's everything these days? Is life at home okay with your siblings, or do you have any problems?"

Karrar: "Fatima and I are fine. But I'm a little worried about Mustafa. He really wanted to marry that girl, but because our parents disappeared, he focused on taking care of us. I feel like we deprived him of his dream."

Murtadha: "Don't think that way. Mustafa wasn't forced to do anything; he chose it himself. You should be happy that he cares for you and your sister. And if you ever need help, just ask me. My father was friends with your dad, and he's ready to help the children of his friend if they face any problems."

Karrar: "Thanks for your kindness, but we're fine for now. By the way, do you have any plans this week?"

Murtadha: "Yes. My family is planning to go to Diyala tomorrow, and they allowed me to skip college and go with them."

Karrar: "I really wish my older brother would let me skip college like your family does. Anyway, I hope you all have a great time."

After this conversation, Karrar goes to his lectures… and well, it's college, so there's studying, assignments, and all that boring stuff. Let's skip this part and move to the end of the day when Karrar returns home.

On his way home, Karrar stops at a store and buys a cigarette. This is one of Karrar's bad habits—he's a smoker.

In general, this is Karrar's life. A normal, ordinary life. His parents' disappearance affected him at first, but he eventually got over it. The only problem he struggles with now is that he always… always sees bad things happening. Whether on TV or in the streets during his day, sometimes he sees groups of criminals beating innocent people and stealing their money. He really wishes he could help, but he doesn't do anything because, in the end, he's just an ordinary young man with no special abilities. This bothers Karrar, but it doesn't stop him from continuing his life.

Anyway, Karrar continues on his way. The street is relatively empty, when suddenly something shocking happens…

A portal opens, and a creature that looks like a dragon comes out. But it's smaller in size and has a body structure almost like a human—something similar to a Dragonborn

But the most important thing is that it's injured. It looks as if it's about to die. The dragon sees Karrar, and Karrar panics, not knowing what to do.

The dragon runs toward Karrar, then transforms into a spirit and enters Karrar's body.

Karrar faints
