His gaze locked onto mine, daring me to deny it.
My cheeks flushed.
I sighed helplessly. "It wasn't anything serious." I smirked. "Just recalling some random past."
"Keep it at bay. He replied. "Think about the future."
I laughed.
That should be the right thing but it is always difficult to think of the future without recalling the mundane past.
Before I had the chance to respond, the car pulled into one of the biggest malls in Crown City.
"We are here." The driver said.
My gaze darted to Adrian, who gently pulled his arm away from me. "Let's go in."
"Buying something?" I asked, surprised.
I had thought he had someone he wanted to see, but this was definitely a mall.
"Maybe," he said casually. "Let's check first."
"Maybe, let's check first." He answered.
The door was pushed open.
He stepped down first and I followed suit. Standing beside him as he closed the door with a soft thud, my gaze swept the surroundings.
