Ideally, Arata wanted Obito's Kamui. While its offensive power wasn't the strongest, its defensive and survival ability was top-tier.
Imagine being able to store weapons....or even people....inside your own dimensional space.
It was the ultimate life-saving technique.
Unfortunately, he had no idea where Obito was, let alone how to reach him.
So, for now, he could only dream about it.
The most realistic target was Shisui's Mangekyō.
Aside from Kamui, Shisui's Kotoamatsukami...the "Other Gods' Command".....was arguably the strongest genjutsu of all.
It could rewrite a person's will without them ever realizing it.
Then there was Fugaku's unknown Mangekyō ability.....so deeply hidden that even in death, no one knew what it could do.
But if both his sons could awaken the Mangekyō, how could the clan leader himself not possess it?
As for Itachi and Sasuke, their Mangekyōs were still out of reach.
Sasuke was far too young, and Itachi hadn't awakened his yet. Once Shisui died, that would change.
In short, the best path forward was clear.....find Shisui, earn his trust, and somehow learn Kotoamatsukami.
Only then could Arata hope to rewrite the tragic fate of Shisui, Itachi, and the entire Uchiha clan.
"I refuse to believe it," he muttered through gritted teeth. "That the proud Uchiya clan could vanish silently, without resistance."
His eyes darkened.
Three tomoe spun rapidly, faster and faster, until the whirling motion nearly formed an unbroken ring of red and black.
The Copy Eye gleamed once more.
Arata searched every corner of the Uchiha compound, finally finding Shisui Uchiha in a quiet spot by the river.
As the strongest of the new generation, Shisui carried none of the usual pride or arrogance typical of the Uchiha clan.
On the contrary, he was kind-hearted, calm, and gentle to everyone.
When Arata arrived, Shisui was seated by the river, quietly watching the water's surface.
"Shisui, you're here again. What are you doing?" Arata approached with a smile, greeting casually.
Shisui lifted his gaze from the river briefly. Seeing Arata, he glanced back at the water and replied softly,
"Just finished a mission… sitting here for a while. And you? What brings you here?"
"You're always hiding here for peace and quiet," Arata said bluntly. "I'm not. I have business to discuss with you."
Shisui noticed the serious tone in Arata's voice. His calm expression grew solemn as he studied him carefully.
"What kind of business…? You're rarely this serious."
Given the recent tension between the Uchiha and the village, Shisui's instincts immediately went on alert.
Seeing Shisui's expression, Arata, his long-time friend, reassured him gently:
"Relax. Nothing is wrong with the clan lately. This is personal.....I came to see you for my own reasons."
Shisui exhaled, letting a small smile appear.
"You could've just said that from the start. No need to be so serious."
Arata returned the smile briefly but said nothing. Instead, he activated his chakra, revealing the three-tomoe Sharingan.
Shisui blinked, puzzled. What exactly was Arata trying to do?
The three tomoe in Arata's eyes spun faster and faster, their trails forming faint, intricate patterns.
Shisui's eyes widened in shock, as if the deepest secret of his heart had been exposed.
"What… what is your Sharingan doing?" he exclaimed.
Arata's grin widened, mischief gleaming in his eyes. He didn't answer, slowly deactivating the Sharingan while keeping his gaze fixed on Shisui.
Shisui, reading his intention, asked hesitantly,
"You… guessed it, didn't you?"
Arata shook his head.
"Not guessed… seen."
Shisui shook his head in disbelief.
"Impossible. I just awakened my Mangekyō recently. I've never revealed it to anyone."
Arata remained calm, pointing to his left eye.
"This Mangekyō technique I have… it's called 'Time's Rift.' It allows me to glimpse fragments of the future.
Not much, but I happened to see some of yours."
Shisui raised an eyebrow. "That sounds absurd.
At first, I thought it was an illusion. But judging by your expression… maybe it's true. Arata, you really are a genius of the Uchiha.....unlocking the Mangekyō before me."
Hearing this, Shisui considered his own Mangekyō, knowing its power, and realized that Arata's claim might not be so impossible.
In truth, Arata didn't have any real precognition.
He was using knowledge from his transmigration.....mixing plot awareness with his system...to bluff Shisui.
His Mangekyō was just a hollow display, a fake with no real abilities, powered only by his enormous spiritual strength and the system.
