Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 : The Uchiha clan… will be annihilated!"

Shisui, though kind-hearted, was still a trained warrior. Sensing something unusual, he studied Arata carefully.

"Knowing you as I do… you didn't come just to check my Mangekyō, right?"

Arata decided it was time to drop a bomb. Looking directly into Shisui's eyes, he said:

"I saw you die.

I'm not certain exactly when, but it's not far from now."

Shisui's pupils constricted sharply. His face twitched involuntarily as he heard the next words:

"A few years after your death, the Uchiha clan will be annihilated."

Shisui could no longer stay seated. He stood abruptly, shouting:

"Impossible! We are the greatest clan in Konoha! We've been here since the village was founded.

How could anyone even dare wipe us out? Who would have that kind of power?"

Arata didn't try to console him. Instead, he said with a hint of meaning:

"Outside Konoha, no one could do it. But what about inside Konoha?"

Shisui's expression froze. He fell silent for a moment, lips trembling, voice hoarse.

"You… saw what else?"

Arata paused, choosing his words carefully:

"I didn't see much.....mostly mundane daily life. The rest is few but crucial events."

"Your Sharingan is extremely precious," he continued. "I saw you lying on the ground, your eyes removed.

The Third Hokage and Danzo were standing nearby, and Danzo was holding your eyes in his hand, surrounded by many ANBU."

Shisui had never considered that someone could easily kill him, Mangekyō or not.

But hearing this, he started piecing things together...the deadly seriousness of Danzo, the trust he had in the Third Hokage, and the terrifying potential of his Kotoamatsukami.

"If I tell the Third Hokage about my Mangekyō and Kotoamatsukami in due time… even if he doesn't want to kill me to seize my eyes, the ability is too dangerous.

If Danzo gets it, he'll advocate for killing me. And the Third Hokage might silently allow it."

"Only a surprise attack, not a direct confrontation, has a high chance of success," he muttered, sinking deeper into dread.

His eyes dimmed slightly.....realizing even the Third Hokage could not fully tolerate his Kotoamatsukami.

Shisui processed the chain of events, then asked Arata:

"Anything else?"

Arata's voice was hoarse, as if he were holding back some deep, burning anger. He spoke deliberately, each word heavy with weight:

"The Uchiha clan… will be annihilated!"

His eyes were bloodshot, staring fiercely...not at Shisui, but at the enemy who would strike years later.

"That night, every Uchiha—ninja and civilian alike....perished.

Only two survived. Itachi Uchiha defected, leaving the youngest son of the clan head, Sasuke Uchiha, in Konoha."

Arata didn't say that Itachi was solely responsible for wiping out the clan.

Although Itachi had told Sasuke he had killed everyone, anyone with a shred of common sense would know that was impossible.

The Uchiha were Konoha's most powerful clan. Even Itachi.....or Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage.....couldn't have silently eliminated them alone.

Shisui fell silent, words failing him as the reality sank in. The two sat facing each other, speechless.

The moon climbed higher in the sky, its light illuminating their expressionless faces.

After a long moment, Shisui seemed to accept the grim truth. His voice calm, he asked:

"Have you told anyone else about this?"

Arata shook his head.

"No. What I've said is too shocking. Even if I spoke it aloud, most wouldn't believe me."

"Have you spoken to the clan head? If you explained everything to him, I think he would believe you."

Arata shook his head decisively.

"No. I don't trust the clan head."

"Why not?"

"Because he also has a Mangekyō Sharingan.

And even though he dies eventually, the two survivors are still his sons.

Doesn't that seem… too coincidental? I can't judge his true stance.

If I told him, I might be compromised, and worse.....then you and the rest of the clan might be beyond saving."

Shisui seemed convinced by Arata's reasoning. He looked at him and asked:

"What do you need me to do?"

Arata let out a long breath, relieved that he had convinced Shisui. The future might still be changeable.

"Shisui, you're one of the strongest of the Uchiha and now the hope of our clan.

Be careful. Trust no one completely, especially around the Third Hokage and Danzo. Stay alert at all times."

Shisui nodded.

"I understand. Don't worry."

"And… have you told anyone about your Mangekyō?"

Shisui shook his head. Arata's tension eased.

"Good. Don't tell anyone. Anyone. There's no wall the world can't hear through. One slip and danger multiplies."
