Chapter 13: Operation: Speed WAAAGH!

Tony gathered the Boss and his top Nobz around a crudely drawn map of the Imperial Guard's fortress. "Alright, Boyz," he began, his voice filled with urgency. "We can't beat da 'umies in a straight-up fight. Dey got too many guns, too many tanks, too many walls. We need to do something… unexpected."

He pointed to a network of underground tunnels that ran beneath the fortress. "Dese tunnels," he said, "dey're old mining tunnels. Da 'umies don't know about 'em. We can use 'em to get inside dere fortress without dem even seein' us comin'."

The Orks, predictably, were skeptical. "Tunnels?" Krusha scoffed. "Tunnels are for runts. We're Boyz. We like to fight in da open."

"I know, Krusha," Tony replied. "But hear me out. We're not just gonna walk through dese tunnels. We're gonna race through 'em. We're gonna build fast, mean machines dat can tear through dose tunnels like a greased squig."

He proposed a plan that involved modifying their existing vehicles, stripping them down to their bare essentials, and equipping them with powerful engines, reinforced armor, and deadly weapons. He called these vehicles "Tunnel Runners."

The Orks, initially hesitant, were intrigued by the idea of racing through the tunnels. They loved speed, they loved destruction, and they loved the idea of surprising the 'umies with a lightning-fast attack.

The Boss, always eager for a new challenge, gave Tony the go-ahead. "Alright, Stikk," he said. "Build yer Tunnel Runners. But dey better be fast, and dey better be deadly. Or else, you're gonna be testin' 'em out yourself."

Tony and his Tinkerz worked around the clock, transforming their existing vehicles into Tunnel Runners. They stripped off any unnecessary weight, added powerful engines salvaged from crashed Ork bombers, and reinforced the armor with layers of scrap metal and stolen Imperial Guard plating.

They also equipped the Tunnel Runners with a variety of deadly weapons, including chainswords, shootas, and even a few crude but effective flamethrowers.

The Tunnel Runners were chaotic, dangerous, and utterly insane. But they were also incredibly fast and surprisingly effective.

When the Tunnel Runners were finally ready, Tony gathered the Boss and his Nobz for a demonstration. He led them to the entrance of the tunnels and signaled for the first Tunnel Runner to begin its run.

With a deafening roar, the Tunnel Runner shot into the darkness, its engine screaming and its wheels spitting gravel. A few seconds later, the sound of explosions and gunfire echoed from deep within the tunnels.

The Orks watched in awe as the Tunnel Runner emerged from the other end of the tunnels, battered but intact, its weapons smoking and its driver grinning like a maniac.

The Boss was ecstatic. "Dis is amazing, Stikk!" he roared. "Dese Tunnel Runners are da best idea you ever had!"

He immediately ordered his troops to prepare for the attack. The Orks piled into the Tunnel Runners, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Tony, watching them go, felt a mix of excitement and trepidation. He knew that this plan was incredibly risky, and that the Tunnel Runners could easily be trapped or ambushed in the narrow tunnels. But he also knew that they had no other choice. They had to take the fight to the 'umies, and they had to do it in a way that they wouldn't expect.

With a final roar, the Tunnel Runners plunged into the darkness, leaving Tony alone at the entrance of the tunnels, waiting to see if his gamble would pay off. He hoped it would. The future of the WAAAGH! depended on it.
