Sun Jing slowly opened her eyes and squinted at the digital clock on her nightstand. The screen glowed a garish blue and orange, shaped like some off-brand Ultraman Ginga she didn't remember ever buying.

"I-its… the afternoon already?" she mumbled, clutching her head as if it might stop her world from spinning.

A soft chime echoed, and the blue system screen floated before her once more.

Sun Jing groaned. "Okay… so it wasn't a dream. I'm actually… in a harem anime."

She sat up, her long blond hair falling over her shoulders, magenta-red eyes scanning the room.

Great. Just great.

She rubbed her temples. "Okay… I can do this. Three days to get my life together, right? Monday is my first day at Kuoh Academy. I just have to… survive a harem anime without dying, embarrassing myself, or accidentally offending someone powerful."

Her stomach twisted at the thought. "Yeah… totally fine. Totally normal Friday."

"…Yeah. Totally fine," she muttered again, voice trembling slightly as she tried to convince herself. 'I can do this. It's just… a game, right? Right…?'

Sun Jing changed out of her pajamas, opting for pink boxers, black shorts, a black tank top, and white ankle socks. She glanced at herself in the mirror, tugging at her tank top nervously. "Well… this is my life now. Might as well make the most of it."

Unfortunately…

She stepped over a few still-unpacked boxes and headed for her door. Her room was far bigger than she'd initially noticed, giving her a little perspective. "If my room is this big… I wonder how big the rest of the house—"

She opened the door and nearly fell backward.

"What the hell… this place is huge!!"

The mansion stretched seemingly endlessly in every direction: polished marble floors, grand staircases, large windows letting in sunlight, and hallways that looked like something out of a luxury hotel.

Sun Jing spent the next three hours exploring. She discovered that her room was on the third floor, overlooking a sprawling backyard. There was a pool, a small garden, and even… maids. Maids with comically large chests that seemed to defy physics entirely.

She swallowed nervously, backing away from the window. "Y-yeah… this is exactly the kind of anime logic I expected…"

"Young miss," a gentle, refined voice called. Sun Jing turned to see one of the maids approaching, holding a towel and a change of clothes.

"A-ah… thank you," Sun Jing stammered, accepting the towel to dry her hair.

The maid bowed politely, and Sun Jing's magenta eyes caught… a bit too much of the view. Her face immediately turned red. Panicked, she yelped and sprinted away down the hall.

By the time she collapsed onto a sofa in one of the mansion's many lavish rooms, her mind was spinning. Three hours of exploring, nearly dying of embarrassment multiple times, and she still had three days to get her life together before her first day at Kuoh Academy.

Sun Jing collapsed onto the sofa, still catching her breath from the mansion tour, when a new chime sounded from the floating blue screen.

[New Unique Skill Unlocked: Instant Dungeon Create (ID Create)]

Sun Jing blinked. "Wait… what now?"

[ID Create allows the Host to generate a protected space, also called a dungeon. Within this dungeon, the Host can train, battle waves of enemies, acquire loot, and level up. Companion skill: Instant Dungeon Escape.]

Sun Jing leaned back, suddenly curious despite herself. "Ah… so I don't just have to rely on quests to get stronger and gather loot? I can, like… grind on my own before the main story even starts?"

[Affirmative.]

Okay… this might actually be fun.

She pressed the newly unlocked ID Create skill, and a menu appeared in front of her:

[Available Dungeons]

Level 1: Forest Dungeon

Waves: 5

Final Boss: Level 10

Sun Jing studied the menu, tapping her chin. "Alright… looks simple enough. But… do I at least get a starter weapon? Or do I just use my fists?"

The system remained silent.

"…Of course it wouldn't tell me," she muttered, crossing her arms and pouting slightly. "Perfect. Just my luck—probably gonna have to punch things to death."

Her fingers hovered over the Enter Dungeon button and took a deep breath.

Sun Jing pressed it, and the world around her changed. The mansion faded from view, replaced by the Forest Dungeon.

"FUCK! I'm not wearing any shoes!"
