A few days prior, Kaito Kumon had competed against Kouta Kazuraba of Team Gaim. Riding the bike provided by the Lock Dealer, he had entered a strange forest and picked a few fruits from the trees, which turned into several B-Class Lockseeds. He was currently planning to find time to go back inside and find more Lockseeds.
Raven, watching from a distance, saw Kaito Kumon and his crew aggressively seizing the other team's territory and couldn't help but feel annoyed. His enjoyment of watching the girls dance was rudely interrupted. Who wanted to watch a bunch of grown men dance on stage?
So, Raven nonchalantly walked up to the stage and immediately cut the music Team Baron was about to play.
"Hey, what team are you on? You got the guts to mess with us, Baron?" A few of Team Baron's subordinates immediately stepped forward and started yelling at Raven. They saw he wasn't very old and assumed he was just from another dance team looking for trouble.
"My apologies, but I'm not with any dance team. I'm just here to watch the show," Raven replied truthfully.
"Watch the show? Doesn't that mean you're here to start trouble, you bastard!" One of the subordinates immediately rushed forward to lay a hand on Raven.
Raven easily sidestepped the attack, then tripped the guy, sending him sprawling headfirst in a heap.
This earned a burst of laughter from the nearby crowd. Seeing someone from Baron embarrassed was a pure joy for everyone.
"What are you laughing at!" The tripped man was furious. He immediately got up and tried to punch Raven again.
Raven responded by back-kicking him, sending him flying into the rest of the Baron members who had started to close in behind him.
This sight further astonished the onlookers. No one expected this handsome young man to be so skilled!
"He's so strong!" someone exclaimed.
"How come I've never seen him around here?" A girl asked, stars in her eyes.
Most people admired Raven for standing up and teaching Baron a lesson.
"I think he has a death wish. Doesn't he know the Captain of Baron can transform into an Armored Rider?" Someone else worried that Raven was heading straight for trouble.
"You're right."
Reminded of this, everyone turned their attention to Kaito Kumon, who was standing nearby, curious to see what he would do next.
Kaito Kumon's expression, which had been dismissive of Raven at first, now turned serious. He recognized that Raven's strength was not to be underestimated.
He stepped forward and said to Raven, "Let's fight. I will defeat everyone, no matter who they are."
With that, he pulled out his Sengoku Driver, snapped it onto his waist, and it automatically extended from both sides to form a belt. He then took out the Banana Lockseed hanging on his hip and pressed the switch.
"Henshin."
"Banana!"
A circular zipper opened in the sky above Kaito Kumon's head, revealing a giant banana. Kaito Kumon placed the Banana Lockseed onto the Driver, then closed the Lockseed and pressed the fruit-knife-shaped switch on the side of the Driver.
"Lock On!"
Accompanied by a dynamic sound effect, the giant banana crashed down onto Kaito Kumon's head, making him look like a comical banana man.
"Pfft..."
Raven couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight. He had always found the transformation sequences in the Gaim world hilarious when watching the show, but seeing it in person was even funnier.
"What are you laughing at!" Kaito Kumon was enraged by Raven's mockery.
At that moment, the massive banana split open from all sides, transforming into armor that attached to his body. Kamen Rider Baron appeared.
"If you have the courage to pick a fight with me, you must have a Driver too. Transform!" the transformed Kaito Kumon said to Raven, brandishing his Banana Spear.
"I'm afraid I don't have one of your toys," Raven stated bluntly.
"Toys?"
Kaito Kumon was completely provoked by Raven's condescending, adult-talking-to-a-child attitude. Ignoring whether the other man had transformed or not, he immediately attacked!
"Are you kidding me!"
However, Raven remained completely unfazed by Baron's charge. At the crucial moment, he dodged the attack and executed a move to snatch the weapon right out of Baron's grasp.
His movements were extremely fast, too quick for anyone to react to, and he successfully wrestled the Banana Spear away from Baron.
Kaito Kumon was inwardly stunned. He was then struck and knocked back by a kick from Raven.
Bang!
Baron staggered back several steps from Raven's kick before barely managing to steady himself. This shock was deep for Kaito Kumon.
How was this possible?
The other person hadn't transformed; he was just a regular human!
"What's wrong? Are you scared already?" Raven taunted Kaito Kumon, spinning the Banana Spear in his hand.
"You bastard!"
Fueled by this taunt, Kaito Kumon rushed forward to continue the fight. However, Raven simply toyed with him the entire time right in front of the crowd. Finally, Raven used the Banana Spear in his hand to directly strike Baron's belt, forcibly deactivating his transformation.
"Wow..."
Everyone was dumbfounded, having even forgotten to record the fight with their phones.
"He defeated Kaito, who transformed with a Driver, with his bare hands?" The members of Team Baron were also incredulous. The one who had been beaten up earlier felt a renewed sense of terror.
"Boring. You're too weak," Raven said, shaking his head. He then swaggered away.
Their leader had been beaten, and their venue ruined, but not a single person in Team Baron dared to stop him.
"Damn it..."
Kaito Kumon slowly got up from the ground, his fists clenched tightly, watching Raven's retreating figure.
Raven circled the area a bit more, getting a general sense and understanding of Zawame City, before returning to his café.
Inside the shop, a young boy was currently talking to Yuka.
Raven walked over and immediately grinned. Wasn't that the 'Silly Orange,' Kouta Kazuraba?
"Raven-san, you're back..." Yuka, who looked troubled, quickly walked over when she saw Raven return. She then spoke to Kouta Kazuraba:
"This is our manager."
Yuka then whispered to Raven: "Raven-san, this person came in to ask if we were hiring for a part-time job."
