"Oh? You look stronger than this guy, at least."
Kitazaki's attention was instantly captured by Raven. He casually ignored the Takumi Inui (Faiz) under his foot and walked straight toward Raven.
Takumi, having narrowly escaped death, was at his limit and his transformation was forcibly undone. He was immediately helped up by Keitaro, who had risked running out of the car.
Saeko Kageyama, watching from a distance, was powerless to intervene. Her current state was too poor, and she reverted to her human form. Raven had shown no mercy whatsoever, holding nothing back in his attacks; she was only one blow away from being finished off.
"You must be Kitazaki," Raven said, walking forward and bracing himself for the upcoming battle.
"It seems you know me?" Kitazaki looked at Raven with interest.
The two men continued walking toward each other, drawing closer and closer. When they reached the final meter of distance, they attacked almost simultaneously, each landing a punch squarely on the other's face.
Bang!
A fierce battle immediately erupted.
After a series of clashes, it was clear that Kitazaki's Demon Form held a slight advantage. This demonstrated that the Kaixa Gear's limits were fundamentally lower; the fact that Raven could use it to contest Kitazaki was already a remarkable feat.
But this was only a test of pure combat. Raven quickly drew the Kaixa Blaygun, firing a close-range blast at Kitazaki to push him back. He then switched the weapon to its blade mode, opened the Kaixa Phone, and pressed the Enter button.
"Exceed Charge!"
The nozzle of the Blaygun immediately fired a light bullet at the distant Kitazaki that briefly confined his movement. Then, Raven tilted his body forward, raised the sword backward, and a golden sword energy appeared in front of him. His entire figure transformed into a golden storm, piercing forward at high speed.
Swoosh!
Zzzzz…
Kitazaki took the Blade Storm head-on, but his body only showed a slight disturbance. He recovered almost instantly.
"Is that all you've got?"
Kitazaki turned, completely unconcerned, to face Raven, who had appeared behind him. Although the attack just now hadn't done any real damage, it had caused him a slight sting.
"My turn to attack."
Kitazaki's voice turned utterly cold.
In a flash, his armor burst open, and he switched to his Dragon Form. His speed now surpassed even Faiz's later Axel Form. In the blink of an eye, he circled behind Raven, instantly switching back to Demon Form, and delivered a vicious strike with his sharp, dragon-like claws.
"Smash!"
The force of the attack completely pierced the Kaixa armor, instantly forcing Raven's transformation to be canceled. He tumbled and rolled onto the ground.
"No way! How is that Orphnoch so powerful?!" Keitaro helped Takumi into the car, quickly scrambled back into the driver's seat, and prepared to make a quick escape.
Takumi watched the battle with a tight frown, breaking out in a cold sweat. He hadn't expected even Raven to be no match for the Orphnoch before them.
"Cough, cough…"
Raven was badly hurt by the blow, but thanks to his Amazon regenerative abilities, he quickly recovered. He swiftly pushed himself up from the ground, looking as if nothing had happened.
"You can still stand up! That's great!" Kitazaki's eyes lit up, looking genuinely happy. He hadn't expected Raven to endure his serious attack.
"They're both monsters…" Saeko, watching in the shadows, understood that Raven also hadn't been fighting with his true power. She wondered how even Kitazaki would be able to defend himself against Raven's Berserk Mode.
"Quickly, pick up the belt and transform! Let's keep fighting!" Kitazaki said, like a child excited by a new toy, eager for the continuation of the hunt.
Raven smiled faintly and replied, "That belt has reached its limit with me."
He didn't pick up the Kaixa Gear on the ground. Instead, he snapped his fingers.
The Junglaider automatically started and drove itself from the road toward him. When the Junglaider stopped in front of him, Raven retrieved his other, Amazon-exclusive belt from the storage compartment.
Against an opponent like Kitazaki, he had no choice but to use his true power.
He quickly fastened the belt around his waist and gently turned the handle.
"Sigma."
The two compound eyes on the belt glowed with purple light, activating the Amazon Cells within Raven's body. Then, in a low voice, Raven simply stated, "Amazon."
He then looked directly at Kitazaki.
RUMBLE—!
Immediately, a purple aura exploded outwards from his body, scorching the grass and nearby trees. His fighting spirit and power were stronger than ever before.
