Chapter 79 - Obito and Kakashi

Seeing Karura's nervousness, Yuzuru retracted his aura and returned to his gentle demeanor. He asked curiously, "I remember you have a younger brother, right? Did he come with you?"

Karura's heart skipped a beat. Had Yuzuru already known about this? She didn't dare to conceal anything and could only answer truthfully, "Yashamaru is still in the Sand Village."

Yuzuru nodded and then suddenly asked, "If we face the Sand Village ninja in the future, will you attack them?"

Karura glanced at Yuzuru and remained silent. After a long pause, she spoke in a slightly hoarse voice, "Please rest assured, I am a ninja of the Cloud Village now, and I will absolutely not commit an act of betrayal against the Cloud Village."

"Even if they use your brother's life to threaten you?"

"..."

After another moment of silence, Karura stood up and, for the first time, mustered the courage to meet Yuzuru's gaze. "Yuzuru-sama, are you still planning to attack the Sand Village?"

"That's right." Yuzuru had no intention of hiding it and spoke frankly. "I want to unite the entire Ninja World. Such things are unavoidable."

"Eh?!" Karura's eyes widened in shock. "Unite the Ninja World? You're not joking, are you?"

"That would cause a lot of deaths."

Yuzuru said calmly, "The current Ninja World experiences a Great Ninja War every few decades, and countless people die in these wars."

"If the Ninja World can be unified, wars will cease to exist."

"Killing—for the sake of ending the killing."

He finished, and seeing that Karura still looked uneasy and unconvinced, Yuzuru did not continue the discussion. He simply said, "When you go out on missions with Kushina and the others in the future, you can take a look at the current Land of Lightning."

"If the Ninja World is unified, I can centrally allocate its resources."

"Even in barren lands like the Land of Wind and the Sand Village, people will be able to live prosperous lives."

Watching Yuzuru's retreating figure, Karura fell into deep thought. Before coming here, she had thoroughly examined the information regarding Yuzuru. He led the entire Uchiha clan away from Konoha and decisively settled in the Cloud Village. He had won two wars, demonstrating unparalleled power. He openly killed a Daimyō, and not only faced no consequences, but other countries have begun to follow suit...

All these events proved that Yuzuru was a person who dared to dream, dared to act, and had the ability to realize his ambitions. If he said he wanted to unite the Ninja World, it was definitely not an idle boast.

If Yuzuru truly put his plan into action, then even for the future of the Sand Village, shouldn't she start making some preparations for what lies ahead?

Karura's thoughts raced, and she finally had to force the chaotic ideas back down. Regardless of the circumstances, the Sand Village had abandoned her, and she would live the rest of her life as a Cloud Village ninja. She would help the Sand Village if she could. If she couldn't, she would have to focus on ensuring Yashamaru's safety as much as possible.

I need to perform diligently from now on.

Yuzuru was not too concerned with Karura's inner thoughts. He believed that after living in the Cloud Village for a while, Karura would realize what the correct choice truly was. After all, she was just an abandoned chess piece; what kind of loyalty could she have for the Sand Village?

After leaving the room, Yuzuru ate dinner with Mikoto and Kushina. Both of them were excellent cooks, and the meal was delicious. During dinner, Yuzuru told them about Karura, and Kushina and Mikoto had no objections. After spending a few days with her, they had also sensed Karura's inherent kindness. Having such a person as a teammate was a comforting thing.

After dinner, Mikoto went to clear the dishes, and Yuzuru intended to take the opportunity to 'deal with' Kushina. Unfortunately, before he could make a move, Obito's voice rang out from outside the door.

"Yuzuru-nii, I know you're in there, open the door quickly!"

Yuzuru opened the door in annoyance, reached out, and thoroughly messed up Obito's hair a few times. "You're not at the Ninja Academy, why are you looking for me?"

Obito adjusted his goggles and said with a smile, "Yuzuru-nii, today's a day off at the Academy."

"I came to ask you for something."

Yuzuru asked curiously, "What is it?"

"Please teach me ninjutsu!" Obito's eyes were filled with fighting spirit. "Yuzuru-nii, you don't know, but ever since that Kakashi guy started going to the Ninja Academy too, everyone has been ignoring me."

"I want to ask you to teach me something powerful so I can defeat Kakashi in front of everyone!"

As Obito finished speaking, Kakashi's voice came from behind him, "Obito, you are truly despicable."

"Yuzuru-senpai, please teach me some ninjutsu as well."

Whether it was his father's teaching or the recent stories about Yuzuru that had been circulating in the village, Kakashi was filled with admiration for Yuzuru. If Yuzuru-senpai personally taught him, his strength would surely improve significantly.

Hearing this, before Yuzuru could speak, Obito got annoyed. He pointed a finger at Kakashi's nose and said, "I'm Yuzuru's junior, so it's natural for me to learn ninjutsu from him. What right do you have to ask Yuzuru-nii to teach you?"

Kakashi paused, feeling that Obito's argument made a lot of sense. After thinking for a while, Kakashi suddenly pulled a book from his clothes. "Yuzuru-nii, this is Jiraiya's latest release. I'm giving it to you."

Yuzuru's face changed. He turned his head to glance at Kushina and Mikoto in the courtyard, then quickly took the book. "Kakashi, don't give me things like this in the future. I read the Spring and Autumn Annals!"

Seeing Yuzuru's righteous expression, Kakashi scratched his head. "Yuzuru-senpai, but you were the one who gave me a copy once..."

"I only give those books; I don't read them."

Yuzuru interrupted Kakashi and walked toward the training ground outside. "I happen to have time today. I'll teach you two some ultimate techniques."

"Yay!"

Obito jumped up excitedly, and Kakashi couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement, quickly following after him.

Seeing the two of them, Yuzuru felt a wave of melancholy. Under his influence, the entire Ninja World had completely deviated from the storyline of the original work. Although his plan was progressing bit by bit, he had lost some of his foreknowledge, which had both advantages and disadvantages.

In the future, I must continue to strive to increase my own strength.

Just as Yuzuru was thinking, Obito excitedly asked from behind, "Yuzuru-nii, what ultimate techniques are you going to teach us?"

Yuzuru didn't turn his head and said plainly, "Chidori and Rasengan."
