The days passed as they always did till one day everything changed .
That day began as normal as always, having the same nightmare and tears flowing on my cheeks, i wasn't crying that stopped a long time ago, but it was like my eyes got accustomed to crying and that continued for over 13 years now .
I as always tried to eavesdrop on the researcher in front of me wanting to try and gain any piece of information that might be of any help to me .
I was about to give up and continue to watch the guys who were training and sparring against each other in small matches above me, something that i liked to do very much as i was interested in assimilating their different fighting styles to my own .
I have a quite ridiculous level of physical prowess, so i reach the conclusion that i must make the most out of it or else it might get to waste and you never knew when Magic might be inaccessible or even worse ineffective, so increasing my hand-to-hand combat experience will only end in gain and no losses, so that why was i so intent on learning everything about close combat that i could get my hands on .
And thanks to Fabrication, i'm able to simulate hundred or a thousand different battle scenarios and it won't even take much of my time, it may have shortened my Magic training a bit, but i'm already having a blockade on my magic, due to finding out that my calculations about the Flying Magic was completely wrong, so it didn't shortened my time training with my Magic by much .
My body wasn't the only thing that got enhanced as i got older, my brain, mind, spirit all got their own enhancements, i was now able to use Fabrication to train for a longer duration, but as if solving one problem will trigger the appearance of another, i still refrained from doing that much due to the fact that living in a dream-like state turn to agitate my mind beyond measure .
Staying too long in training will increase the entanglement between the illusions and my mind, making the dream become the reality and the reality become the dream, making me become detached from the reality in general, so i used it cautiously and try to achieve my goals with it as quickly as possible .
but i still have spent more over 50 years in the illusions like dreams, resulting in me feeling a bit disoriented about my surroundings, so now i'm more focused on my physical strength and my close combat experience and those guys who i was going to sneak a peek upon were all great references, but just as i was about to turn my gaze, i stopped .
The moment that i was about to turn my head, a tablet suddenly began to ring, someone was calling the personal tablet of the doctor, something that hadn't happened in all my 14 years of life .
I got curious to know about who exactly was calling the doctor, he first handed the tablet in his hand to another researcher and he asked him to secure it, wanting to make the call as secretive and untraceable as he could, then he answered the call, after he linked the call to the main screen .
On the other side of the call, there was a skinny man wearing darkglasses, the man first asked about the results of the operation that was currently ongoing, so i was able to conclude that whoever that man was, he is fully aware of the experiment here and he might even be the instigator of all of this and i was indeed correct to reach that conclusion .
The doctor began to report everything that happened in the past 15 years in a drastic manner, then he brought a few short videos of me and introduced me as the most successful sample from all of batches they cloned, he then began telling the man in the video call about all of the abilities that they have discovered me having, at least those that they have a bit of data on .
But most of those information they gathered were intentionally released by me in try of tricking them into believing that they understood my abilities and they unknowingly did, but in truth they hadn't even touched the surface .
The man listened to all of this while watching different kind of videos of me using magic and doing a lot of tests, but his demeanor didn't even shift as he watched all of these videos, he crossed his fingers and leaned on the table and he asked the doctor directly about what he wanted to do next and what did he nodd .
The doctor first request was to relocate the research institution to another place, one that he can use to run a more varying and in-depth researches and test, the man in the video call gave him his initial agreement, then he asked a few more questions about how i got those abilities of mine and why no othe unique samples appeard yet .
He unknowingly touched a nerve to the now hanging tight to his sanity Maglan, then out of my wildest expectations, Maglan still came forward and proposed that they could slice me up or do things similar, then the mystery and the confusion will be cleared up, that much i expected from him, but what i hadn't expected was the reaction of the man wearing darkglasses .
He typed something on a laptop that was beside him and a second later, the body of Maglan was pierced and he fell down dead .
I was able to see that a spell was used from one of the guards in the back of the room and behind Maglan, the sequence he used was new to me, so i recorded it in my mind, i was quite shocked at how Maglan just died, but i really didn't care that much about him dying, if anything i thought that it was completely deserved, what shocked me was the lack of reaction from the people who witnessed this scene unfold .
Silent that what i would say in try to describe the reaction and the atmosphere of both the researchers and in the room in front of me, complete silence, i felt a few gazes looking at the body on the ground, but other than shaking their heads and sighing a bit, there were no other reactions .
Maybe they were afraid to do anything not to be the next body on the floor, after that the doctor and the man began to discuss what arrangements will be made, then after talking for a bit more, the man ordered for the records of the original body to be completely disposed of together with the data of this call ever happening as well then he ended the call .
I was able to get some information before he ended the call, like the identity of the man with the darkglasses, his name was Saegusa Kouichi and as i guessed before he was really the one who initiated this project and funded it, the reason that no body was aware of the existence of this place until lately was completely due to using his great influence as not only he was he belonged to the Saegusa family, one of the Ten Master Clans, no he was even the head of the said family, his last words almost had me in despair, but luckily the words that the doctor continued to say, saved me from that.
The doctor ordered someone to go ahead and erase this archive of data completely and make sure that it won't have a problem like getting leaked .
He ordered the guards to dispose of the body, then he said his congratulations to all the people present on their hard work, then told them that they will start the second phase of their operation, but first he will have to make somthing clear, his words made all the researchers listen to him attentively .
He then began to tell them about the identity of my big brother Ryuu, seeing the fate of Maglan, he wanted to give them the right to make their own choices, he told them about me being a Yotsuba family member, at least the original body of my big brother Ryuu was .
He then continued to say that the next information he was going to tell them was so confidential, that if a word about it stepped out from the room they were in, the only fate that awaited all of them was death .
He also gave them the choice to continue to listen or resign from the project, most of the researchers felt conflicated about this, the success of this project might allow them to be viewed in a new light, but one researcher decided that the achievement wasn't worth his life, so he decided to resign from his position, that guy name was Dr.Troska Yanagi.
The doctor then issued an order to start the silent room protocol, this was the same protocol he used when he was conversing with the late Maglan all the time .
He then began to tell them about the story of how the state of Dahan was destroyed and i was suddenly enlightened about why that late guy whose name was Liu Wang if i was recalling correctly cursed at the Yotsuba family before, the Yotsuba family was the main force and the only reason to why that state of Dahan collapsed .
Yotsuba Genzou, this man was the Yotsuba family's First patriarch, a man who i involuntarily found myself carving his name in my heart, then after listening to what this man did, i held him in the highest regards, just a little bit short from the position of my big brother Ryuu .
This man together with 30 Yotsuba family members willingly started a war against the independent nation of Dahan for the sake of returning his daughter who was kidnapped by the the hands of Dahan's researchers , in that war the Yotsuba family have caused Dahan the loss of 4000 of the country elites, soon after the country collapsed .
But the Yotsuba family wasn't without losses, they lost their patriarch Yotsuba Genzou and other family members, but even with these losses, the mission was a success due to the initial goal had been achieved .
I was beginning to wonder where is my part on all of that he was saying, then Dr.Takao continued to talk in a much heavier tone, he told the researchers in front of him about the daughter of Yotsuba Genzou .
He began to say that the daughter of Yotsuba Genzou was experimented on and raped while she was in Dahan, he then began to say that there were some rumors that she was even pregnant when she came back and that these rumors where only confirmed when they acquired the original body of my big brother Ryuu .
He before that said that one of these rumors he heard was about the pregnancy being forced to being carried on and how even he didn't understand the logic behind such a move and who might have suggested it .
The boy fate after he was born was to be used as a suicidal magician to attack Dahan that had already fused and joined the Great Asian Union, but the boy was born dead, so all the plan was disposed of .
I was now able to understand the circumstances of my birth, they were able to steal the dead body of my big brother, then they began to try and clone it, was it a coincidence that they choose this body to clone or was it a deliberate act, i don't know and neither did the doctor at that time .
The information regarding the original body of my big brother was then given to the doctor later on and after that he confirmed that most of these rumors were indeed true .
I was also able to finally know my mother name, her name was Yotsuba Maya, her name kept ringing in both my ears and my heart, i being a laboratory experiment myself i felt myself completely sympathizing with her, but i wasn't as happy as i thought i would be to know about her, i was now even more afraid of her not accepting me, due to knowing these circumstances, i felt that she had every right to do so as well .
I feel that my big brother might be sighing if he was to know that his fate was already sealed to be a suicidal magician, so his birth actually was the start of the countdown for his death .
I already thought that Yotsuba family had a dark history, but i never thought that it was dark to this extent, i couldn't help but wonder what would Yotsuba Genzou thought if he knew of this, would he be with or against doing something as using family as sacrificial weapons .
I was beginning to think that i had already heard enough, when he began to say a few more details about what i already know, about me being the clone of Yotsuba Ryuu son of the current head of the first influential family of the Ten Master Clans Yotsuba Maya and her epithet as the Queen of Night .
He then began to talk about how influential she was and also how feared her name alone bought enemies thought not twice but countless times before they take actions, the last part of his words was what actually caught my attention, that part was related to the fact that the Yotsuba might not be angered even if they were to discovered what they were doing here .
In fact they might even award them for it, i was unsure of what to feel after hearing this, i was mostly conflicated, i no longer feel any hope about being accepted into that family, if not for the wishes of my older brother who i owe too much to, i wouldn't have probably wanted to have any connection with them .
Before i would have wanted to meet my mom, but now i wondered if i really wanted to meet her for the same reasons as before, if not for the wishes of my older brother, i wouldn't have wanted to meet her .
That was a lie, i still wanted to meet her and even have that urge inside me to protect her and comfort her, but my apperance might bring an endless trouble for her, or so i was telling myself in mind, disregarding of the doctor continuing to talk about how unique i was .
I began to believe that it was time for me to get out of this place, after all i already got a name that i that would be able to use as a clue and even got an epithet .
I looked through the glasses to the faces of all these people that were willing to do anything and everything for the sake of fame and success, whether what they were doing was moral or not, the just didn't care .
I won't miss a single one of their ugly faces, i then looked at Dr Takao, this was a selfish man that didn't even care to think about the well being of the sample, since he can create another, his punishment would be me vanishing in front of his eyes, his greatest masterpiece, with a little gift of mine as an extra, they were finally aware of me being awoke, that's about time .
Using Fabrication, i put all of them under the illusion of being sucked by a black hole, normally i wouldn't have been able to do something this outrageous, but with my Superpower Black Hole that didn't seem to be that hard, not only them all the people on the facility were put in that illusion .
If someone were to see how everyone currently looked, that person will have chils running through his spine, they were completely standing still as if time had stopped for them, their eyes were cloudy as i passed by each and everyone of them, i couldn't help but wonder how long will it take them to wake up on their own, if i wanted to, they may never awoke from this state .
I destroyed all the Data they had collected, gave my siblings one last happy dream, that was all that i can give to them, i wanted to take them out with me, but their states weren't allowing me to do so .
I destroyed all the camera, then i walked out of Matsumoto Base in an unhurried manner and finally bathed in the sunlight for the first time in my life, I WAS FINALLY FREE .
