Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Claudia smiled looking up as she saw Diana.

"Wow, Diana." She said looking at Diana.

Peter cleared his throat seeing Diana. He was already liking Claudia and didn't want anything against her as he had wanted before.

He had thought he only wanted to be close to her because of her knowledge but found himself drawn to her. He always asked himself the reason he would be drawn to poor Claudia.

"Hi, Claudia," Diana said and immediately left.

Peter watched Diana as she left then looked at Claudia.

"I have to take my leave." He said and she nodded.

He walked to take his seat while looking at the door for Andrew to step into the class.

Diana got up from her bench and walked to Peter clapping.

"Wow, so great." She said. "It's now you and the poor Claudia."

Peter shook his head but Diana continued speaking.

"I introduced her to you. I became her friend so that she won't be able to move close to you but I guess you chose to be close to her." Diana said and Peter smiled.

"I only sat beside her to learn," Peter said.

"That is a lie," Diana shouted.

"It's true," Peter said. "You may go ask her if you do not believe me."

Diana looked at him and frowned.

"You both know what you are doing." She said and walked away.

Peter looked at her as she left.

"Diana thinks I like her when I haven't said it to the class." He said. "A mistake most ladies make."

He looked towards Claudia.

"Why do I feel like she is special?" Peter asked himself.

He looked away, seeing Claudia look in his direction.

Andrew walked into the class and noticed the look on his friend's face.

"What's wrong?" He asked Peter.

"I am torn between two worlds," Peter answered and Andrew laughed.

"You speak in parables." He said, laughing, and Andrew sighed.

"I think I like Claudia," Peter said.

"What!" Andrew exclaimed, looking at Peter, who nodded.

"I think so," Peter said.

"You told her?" Andrew asked and he shook his head.

"No, I haven't." He said.

"Why did you choose her as your study partner?" Andrew asked.

"She is so intelligent," Peter answered and Andrew smiled.

"Which is the reason you think you like her," Andrew said and he shook his head.

"I thought the same last week's ending but came to conclude that there is more to it." He said.

"Hi, guys," Michael said walking in.

"Michael, our friend likes Claudia," Andrew said, smiling, and Michael looked at her.

"She is no match for him," Michael said

pointing to Claudia. "Do not play her."

"I won't but I need your opinion about something," Peter said.

"What is it?" They both asked.

"I think Diana is planning something for Claudia." He said and they laughed.

"They are friends," Michael said.

"That's what we all think," Peter said.

He began to explain all that Diana told him and how she met him studying with Claudia.

"Ever thought of kissing Claudia?" Andrew asked, smiling, and Peter closed his eyes.

"Times uncountable." He replied, making Michael shake while Andrew smiled.

"Which only means that you love her," Andrew said smiling.

Michael turned to look at Andrew.

"We were actually talking about the girls." He said.

"I know, but he sounds more concerned because of love," Andrew said, and Michael frowned.

"Stay away from love." He said to Peter.

"I can't believe that..." Peter was saying.

"I know it's painful but stay away from it. Look forward to our last exams." Andrew said.

"It would have been better if you had one before we reached our final class, but you having one now is off," Michael said.

"How is Dora?" Peter decided to ask Michael about his girlfriend, who was studying at another school.

"She is fine," Michael said.

"I think we should look out for Claudia," Andrew said and they nodded.

Peter looked at Claudia and wished he didn't know her.

Minutes later, they walked away from the class into their lab.

The teachers now loved Claudia more and were grateful that the school gave her a scholarship.

The class went well, and everyone was so happy.

After the class, Diana rose to her feet and smiled at Claudia.

She got up to her feet, holding something at her back, and began walking to Claudia.

Seeing this, Michael rose up and immediately walked to Claudia.

He wrapped his hand around Claudia's neck, looking at Diana, who looked surprised to see this.

Claudia looked at Michael who smiled and gave her a peck on the cheek.

"What's it for?" She asked and Michael smiled.

"Do not worry." He said and immediately went to his bench.

Seeing this, Diana smiled.

"She isn't after my Peter." She said to herself and turned back.

Peter, who saw everything, smiled.

Diana walked to Peter with a smile.

"May we eat?" She asked and he nodded.

He brought out money from his pocket and handed it to her telling her what to get him.

"Alright." She said and left.

Claudia walked out with her bag and brought out a snack which she munched on.

"Let's sit there," Peter said pointing away from Claudia.

After eating, they rested a bit and then returned to the lab, where they met Claudia studying.

"Hi, Peter. Let's study." Claudia said raising her head from the book.

"I won't be studying with you, now," Peter said and walked to sit.

"Why don't you?" Diana asked. "Is it because of what I said earlier?"

"No, it isn't." He said. "I have read enough." Diana nodded and walked to have her sit.

A few minutes later, the next teacher entered the lab.

He drew a map on the screen telling them to open their textbook.

He began explaining the page he asked them to open and told them all to study the map on the screen with the explanation in the textbook.

Claudia smiled happily. She was happy that her mother was able to get her some textbooks.

"I will get the money I invested in Peter's business today." She said to herself happily.

Minutes later, the teacher called some people out to explain the map without the textbook, which included Claudia and Peter.

Teachers loved including both of them in any explanation, although they have begun to like Claudia more than Peter.

The students who were called out were five, including the two brains.
