Su Ye froze for half a second, and then that infuriating smirk slowly stretched across his lips, like he enjoyed being insulted by me.
Of course he did. My husband was impossible.
I could feel my cheeks burning, which only fueled his confidence even more. He shifted slightly, deliberately flexing his chest like some Greek statue brought to life.
"Don't pretend you don't like the view," he teased. "It's for your eyes only."
My blush darkened instantly. Damn him.
"Appreciate it while you can, wife," he added, stretching like a cat basking under sunlight. "I'm not covering up."
"Oh, don't worry," I said through clenched teeth, refusing to let him win. "I'm appreciating it. Just like I appreciate annoying mosquitoes before killing them."
