The site was filled with snow and was cold ,all the students wore heavy clothes . They stood at the front of the gates until there teacher came and started to give them a run down . There were to stay at the site for the next two days helping out.
The students got to work , helping at this and that until it was lunch time .
Some of the students went to near by food trucks to get a meal.
Among them were Mira and Lillith they each bought chicken and rice for themselves but also bought one more for Nicolas only problem is when they went to the boys camp, they were informed that they haven't seen him.
Mira and Lillith went into the building and started searching for him after a few minutes they heard a reply . They went to the eighth floor and saw him sitting in the window edge . Mira was shocked .
"What are you doing ", she said before pulling Nicolas's ear .
"Hey , I was just resting up ", he replied.
"What if you fell you dumb boy", she said.
"Man ", Nicolas corrected her.
"Any way we came to give you this", she spoke.
Lillith handed Nicolas the lunch pack and Nicolas received it . Then Mira slapped Nicolas's head.
"What was that for ?", he asked.
"You didn't even say thank you", she replied.
Nicolas smiled then began to eat . The rest of the lunch was quite and they got back to work . When it reached clock out time the students gathered under one of the cranes .
The teacher congratulated them for completing the task for the first day although.most of the students were mumbling about the backs hurting.
A gust of cool air flew past them . Nicolas froze then looked around, he noticed that all the students were acting normal but he that something's off he just couldn't put his finger around it that's when he heard a sharp snap . He looked up and saw one of the metal pipes that was suspending the building snapped and the building was plummeting down towards them. The students saw it and begun to rush but they saw it too late most of them closed there eyes just waiting for the time. Lillith froze in place she wanted to move but her muscles froze all she could do was place her hands on her head .
A big boom was heard and the site was covered in a thick dust cloud .When the dust cleared the student were amazed that they were still alive . They looked down and saw that they feat were covered in ice and an ice trail was visible between them and the building. Mira noticed this and was in shock she run towards the rummage of the building.
"Nic!, Nic!", she shouted then a giant slab of concrete burst she run to it and saw Nicolas lying in the rummage with Lillith rupped up in his arms .
"Some help please can't really move right now ", he said in a rough weak voice .
"Help here ", she screamed .
The other students rushed over and begun remove the rubbish above them.
Luckily the ambulances helped cure most of their injuries since they were minor.
Nicolas and Lillith were not that badly injured.
"How did we survive that", she asked.
"Well the building was falling , I made people's boots ice up the went to the center commanded the ice to scatter them away from me and I covered us in an ice dome ", he said .
"Why didn't you do the same to me?", she asked .
"Um, well...", said Nicolas lost of words luckily ,the project manager called them over.
"Are you two all right ", he asked .
"Yeah we are ", they said .
"But I don't understand why the building fell , we made it with reinforced concrete" he said while rubbing his head as if he would get an answer.
Nicolas looked up and saw a humanoid figure standing at the edge of the crane that was beside the building. It looked at him and swiped it's hand in the air ,a crack immerged in the air and it went through.
Nicolas looked at the project manager and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"You might want to contact the paranormal organization ", he said before grabbing Lillith's hand and leaving .
Lillith looked at there hands then looked at Nicolas , she wanted to tell him but she stayed quiet and just smiled.
