The room had a strange tension in it , Nicolas sat on the bed looking at Mira and Lillith who stood there glaring at each other.
Nicolas let out a sigh for he didn't know how things ended up like this.
Earlier that day after the construction site accident Mira and Lillith stayed with Nicolas as he asked . They got off at a popular restaurant, entered and sat down at a table .
Nicolas noticed that Mira and Lillith where looking at him with stares. A cute waiter came at there table.
"What can I get you", she asked Nicolas with a smile .
"Just get me anything, I will take anything you recommend me", Nicolas kindly replied.
"What about you guys", he asked .
"I will get a large bucket of chicken and some fries", Mira answered.
Nicolas and Mira looked at Lillith, she just stayed quiet for a while .
"Lill,?", he asked.
"Am not really allowed to..", she said.
"That will be all please ", he said to the waiter.
She left and Nicolas looked at Lillith, their eyes locked for a second then she looked away.
Nicolas tapped her hand that was on the table , she looked back at him then Nicolas placed his hand on hers . Mira stayed quiet looking at there hands then she felt something in her stomach twist ,she wanted to say something but her mouth couldn't move.
"Do your parents allow you to sleep at a friend's house?", Nicolas asked .
"Depends, I tell them first ", she answered.
"Well, you have to tell them, cause your staying at my place tonight", Nicolas spoke .
"What!", Mira spoke in disbelief.
"Y- your house ? ", Lillith said, her face a pinkish red.
"I told you that you two are staying with me tonight ", Nicolas said.
"But our house only has two bedrooms ", Mira protested.
The waiter brought the food and placed it on the table . Nicolas's meal came with a fork with a paper around the handle . He pulled the paper off and inside it was a phone number with a red kiss mark beside the number . He scoffed and placed it his pocket. They ate their food and Mira stared at the Nicolas.
Lillith stood up with he rphone in her phone she dialed a number and the call connected.
"Hie mom..", she said before going out of the restaurant. She stood out the sidewalk outside the restaurant in front of the window closest to Nicolas .
"Are you serious?", Mira asked his brother.
"You know the accident, it was caused an Ownie ", he said .
Mira stayed quiet in shock.
"The worst part is I barely managed to notice it , that means in was a category A or above , I can't take a risk to lose any of you, so just for tonight ", he begged Mira.
While on the other side things were going smoothly between Lillith and her Mom.
"I can't believe my little baby has grown so much, so what his name?", her mom asked over the phone.
"It's not serious, it's just for tonight ", she answered.
"I know but , do you have the right clothes for it? ", her mom replied .
"What do you mean by it ?", Lillith asked .
"You know , what a boy and girl do when their alone " ,her mom said with a giggle .
"Mommmm, his just a friend", she said .
"That's how it once was, with me and your dad , don't worry , am rooting for you besides your an adult already ", he rmom replied before ending the call.
Lillith stood there her face red from all the dirty imaginations running through her head .
"Right clothes huh", she smiled then looked at Nicolas who was looking at her through the window.
